Failed Collections

This broker didn't seem able to get FedEx to collect a parcel from my property. "Same Day Collection" with multiple attempts all failed - they seemed to think that sitting in for 3 days was acceptable? Each time i contacted ParcelBroker i got what looked like standard template responses, which didn't really answer any questions i asked. No telephone number for support, but to give credit they did at least respond within a sensible time to emails. In the end i had to buy a 2nd courier service from elsewhere. Sorry, i can't recommend this company after my experience.

We had a transparent conversation about how our team worked behind the scenes to liaise with FedEx and rebook collections, but unfortunately, the repeated failures on their part let us both down. I fully understand your frustration, especially after waiting in multiple days.

While our team did respond to you promptly by email, I accept that our replies could have been more tailored and proactive—particularly after the second failed collection. One of the key benefits of using a broker like us is the ability to switch carriers if problems arise, and we missed that opportunity here.

Ultimately, while we must rely on our carrier partners to fulfil their contracted duties, we take full responsibility when they fall short. I sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused, and I hope we can earn your trust back in the future by demonstrating the flexibility and customer-first approach we strive for.

Just had a very successful experience…

Just had a very successful experience sending a ‘clothes parcel’ to our daughter in Australia. Tegan and her colleagues provided excellent customer service all through the process, the online booking was very smooth and UPS did a great, quick job. Very competitive price - will use again and would highly recommend. David, Edinburgh

Dataleak

Just had an alert that my data was leaked after a data breach on the 8th. I guess this explains the huge number of nuisance calls and scammers bombarding me this week. Sort your security out and at the very least alert users when you do fail them!

Great service

There was a problem with a parcel that…

There was a problem with a parcel that I sent. I emailed and had a very rapid response from Lauren who explained everything very clearly and laid out options. I had to go backwards and forward to her several times. She was (and always is) very patient with my questions and got me sorted out. Always happy to deal with Parcel Broker.

ZERO STARS!!! AVOID!!!

I'd give zero stars if I could. This service is an absolute joke. They always delay collecting parcels and send ridiculous messages with silly excuses. I pay for next-day delivery, but it sometimes takes over a week to deliver a parcel with delays they make. As a business, I can't afford this kind of delay, because it makes me look unprofessional to my clients. On top of that, they always hold up collections and demand photos of the packed parcels. I ship dozens of parcels daily, and I don't have time for that nonsense. Never again will I use this hopeless company. If you're running a business, avoid them, or they'll make you look silly in front of your clients.

To clarify, all three of your consignments were successfully collected and delivered the next working day, exactly as per the express service selected. No delays were caused by the carrier.

We are happy to accept well-packaged large car parts; however, they do present a number of challenges with national carriers due to their weight, shape and vulnerability to damage in transit. Unfortunately, these items frequently trigger both Additional handling and Oversize surcharges from carriers, which are automatically applied when the packaging or dimensions fall outside their accepted criteria. We therefore, aim to help our customers avoid these charges wherever possible.

Our system flagged your most recent shipment as being close to the maximum size limits for the chosen service. In such cases, we request photographs of the packaged item so we can help ensure compliance and avoid costly surcharges or delays. This is a standard preventative measure, particularly for new accounts shipping borderline items.

It’s also important to note that we do not accept used car parts containing oil, residue, or fluids, as these are restricted by all major carriers.

We appreciate that these checks may seem inconvenient, but they are in place to protect our customers from unnecessary costs and disruptions. Our goal is to support your business, not hinder it and proactive packaging reviews are part of that.

We wish you all the best in finding a courier solution better aligned with your business requirements.

Returned parcel

I booked a parcel which was collected then returned to ourselves. Within a day of asking for help, Tegan managed to solve the issue and rebook for collection after investigating quickly with the courier. Was lovely to deal with and made everything very simple and clear to follow
