Having to keep chasing for an update. Now the solicitor that was dealing with our sale and purchase has gone on maternity leave, and not being told so I keep emailing her and not getting any reply found that very frustrating, only found out today when I called them. And then person that's taken over still hasn't Called me back after me phoning them twice, considering the exchange date is 9 days away😡, very poor customer service

Dreadful firm

Dreadful firm , made my family member's Family Law case much worse (different surname to mine) and messed them around no end.
Very bad communication and at times stopped responding altogether.
One of the senior team (director) was seen smoking cannabis socially. Seriously avoid.
And yes we can show proof of involvement with this firm.

Liars

I am 82 years old and severely disabled, i had a letter from PARDOES of Bridgwater, Nigel Kinder is supposed to have sent it but he didn’t have a clue what was written in it when I spoke to him,it was threatening me, telling me I was a fool and that I needed to get my brain tested, not even addressed to me, typed in it that it was for 1st class postage, mentioned my relations as first names only, didn’t send the letter to my solicitor, told me I had to have my house inspected every six months, it was a very hap hazard letter , I cannot believe that any solicitor would send such a letter, even Nigel Kinder, so I contacted secretary told her I wanted to make a complaint, was put through to Dan Woodward, told him the situation, read the letter to him, he was shocked that it had come from PARDOES, said he would investigate and ring me back at the end of the week, which he didn’t do, I rang 15th and 16th of September, when I phoned first was told that he wasn’t in today and that she would get him to ring me later, he didn’t, I phoned again today, was told he was in a meeting, could I phoned again today back at 2pm, I did , was told to wait, did so for 10 minutes, secretary came back and said, it’s gone higher than Dan Woodward so he’s not allowed to speak to me. This is a solicitors that brag about how good they are, self recommendation is no praise, a load of cowboys and liars.

Ok (when pushed) and no issues

Used for conveyancing for house sale. Very difficult to contact, not proactive and only got action when pressured. Mortgage offer 'put on file' when received by them so errors/problems not noticed until the day of exchange (thankfully not completion at my insistance) and delayed completion by weeks jeopardising onward purchase. No real acknowledgement pf their errors and/or apology...
