Looking at 610 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people have faced issues with being incorrectly fined or receiving charges despite paying for parking or having valid permits. Consumer feedback indicates general dissatisfaction with the payment systems, the ability to appeal fines, and the overall charges imposed. Does t deserve 1 star

Does t deserve 1 star. My daughter parked in Aldi carpark Wickford bought some shopping was there 30 minutes ! She put her reg number in machine and yet still got a ticket. When appealing we couldn’t find receipt but her monso card did show a payment to Aldi on that date but still she lost the appeal. This company is ripping everyone off we only have their word that a number has not been put in and clearly this shows on this Occasion. Shame for Aldis as won’t be shopping there again ! They need to send me proof that it wasn’t typed in computer !!!

Wouldn’t even give one star as there…

Wouldn’t even give one star as there was a no star option.
Parking in a local hospital recently,in a blue disabled bay correctly with badge clearly visible.
Parking machines had been non operational for a few hours completed “frozen”
Could not scan blue badge on exit.
Phoned the number on the machine twice no answer, then sent an email to the email address on machine to say parking machine not working.
Got confirmation email 2 days later confirming my email.
Then received parking fine of £100.
Sent in appeal with timed photographic evidence of my 2 phone calls to their phone number, timed email prior to leaving, and photos of both my husband’s and my blue disabled badges.
Parking Eye dismissed my appeal unbelievable, what more evidence do they need.
In national press today parking eye and other operators are being investigated for acting unfairly against motorists who appeal with definitive grounds to cancel parking charge.
Hopefully Parking Eye will be FINED.
Now appealed through POPLA

This company is a total rip off

This company is a total rip off. Paid for 5hours at Southampton Cruise terminal, took a little longer to pass through security and over stayed by only 15 minutes. The refused my appeal. This company is a greedy, obnoxious group who have no customer service. They want £100 for only 15 minutes. A total rip off. Would have paid happily for one hour but this is ridiculous. I was not surprised that when I opened Trustpilot reviews on Parking Eye that they only get 1 point. Getting the app at the parking they used Evolution which I had to download specially and it was at all easy to do. This company really need to look at their Customer relations but they don't care because they never will talk face to face with their customers. Absolutely disgusting, greedy company.

Abysmal Company

if you could put in a zero i would, what an abysmal company, they tried to fine me for a 20 minute visit to a superstore very early AM when there was nobody around, iused the cashpoint and then waited to leave before the gate to my work opened.

i have done this every monday for absolute years and years, the fine sent appeared to be manually done as there were two different angles of the car. i wonder how many people they scare into paying this sort of thing.

Abysmal behaviour, frankly ii believe this should be illegal!

Horrendous Company

What a horrendous company! They issued a parking fine to me despite me paying for the stay. The British Parking Associate, which they are a member of, allows 10 minutes grace period to leave the parking. I was 8 min 59 seconds late but they charged me a fine for the extra 3 minutes I took while paying their tariff on arrival to justify I breached the limit. I appealed and they denied against the BPA regulations. I had to contact the sports center, the parking of which they manage, to cancel the fine. Absolutely horrified by the way they wanted to rip me off.

A very bad experience

A very bad experience. I could not pay because the Evology App did not work, a registration was not possible. There was also no parking meter. Payment was only possible via the app. I left the car park immediately and received a fine of 120£.
My appeal and explanation of the situation were unsuccessful and were rejected. You should definitely avoid Evology Parking/parking eye.

Stayed under 2 hours & still received a fine!!

Received a fine for staying in a car park for 1hr 52mins when the limit is 2hrs. Make it make sense. Appealed & was told to provide a receipt to show I entered the store. Again, make it make sense, the basis was time & no where does it state you should save the store receipt. Referred to POLSA. I've never done that before so not sure what they are like & if they are fair & have common sense....reading other people's horror stories this company shouldn't be allowed to operate like this & take advantage of people.

No customer contact possible. Debt collection for you council

It's pointless reviewing this company and their service more likely reflects the disregard the local council has for their customer service. Yes, no contact possible, no details of the alleged offence obtainable and no response to WhatsApp which is the only portal of communication possible with no minimum standard of time to response given. Just a debt collection agency.

Awful company practices

This company simply uses scare tactics to force people to pay fines for instances of no rule breaking, and clearly have no internal policy to rectify instances of incorrect charges being issued.

I have so far received 4 charge notices for using a car park at a hotel where we were guests issued for the duration of my stay. And despite the hotel reaching out to cancel all of them I continue to receive parking charge notices despite having the cancellation of those charges in writing from the hotel staff.

This company seems to operate illegally and get away with it??

This company seems to operate illegally and get away with it! They make up their own rules as they go along and you feel pretty intimidated dealing with them. I'm quite hardy, but I imagine for some folk it really impacts on their mental health as they quite honestly talk nonsense. They issued me with a parking ticket in May, but I only found out last week as they sent it to an old address initially, before using a credit reference agency to correctly locate me. The irony is that my details were readily available via DVLA (moved house 4 years ago and all records / driving license updated at that time). They now want to charge me 90 quid, denying me the right to pay their reduced rate, as they "couldnt have reasonably known that I'd moved". I wish they were more effectively regulated, and could be fined for their own fraudulance. They are shocking and horrible to have to deal with.

Disgusting

Disgusting company and I now feel harassed taking the joy out of using an incredible facility.

I have been ticked three times each time I have followed instructions yet received that not enough evidence...and a reduced fine unless you appeal to a higher industry body..what kind of transparent ethics is that.

Absolutely dreadful company I have no faith or trust in the.

If you’ve got the time, don’t pay the fine

My experience reflects a lot of what has already been mentioned, wife disabled and had to visit a health centre daily. Displayed blue badge and took it into reception everyday but one time they didn’t send it off, resulted in initial fine. Told the health centre the next day to have it cancelled off, for whatever reason a few months later had a letter that the fine had inflated to around 300 pound and had a court letter sent. Filled out the DQ etc, had the nursing staff give supporting evidence that my wife did in fact visit the health centre daily for treatment. Had no correspondence from ParkingEye the entire time and was told by the courts that the claim had been dropped without being told directly from them, even after it had escalated to a small claim hearing.

Court letters looks scary and are worded matter of fact, if you know you’re not in the wrong I’d strongly suggest to contest and don’t let formality scare you. It was a long dragged out process but I only done it simply out of principle, I’m not paying a fine because someone else messed up, my wife is disabled and done everything by the book with displaying badge etc. I’m not having crooks take our money.

There’s a few good websites that give advice on these matters. This had been dragged out since 2024 and caused unneeded stress on top of the stress of my wife’s ill health

Parking ticket despite entering my registration on the screen

I parked my car at Urmston Leisure Centre on 27 May 2026, entered my registration on the computer screen in the reception as I always do, my daughter was with me and saw me do it. I have now received a parking fine from Parking Eye saying I didn't enter my registration number. I have told Trafford Leisure Group and they have appealed the decision, waiting for the outcome.

Payment machines constantly down so no…

Payment machines constantly down so no opportunity to pay. Provided proof of this which was rejected.

They know full well and rely wholly on scaremongering and threats to force people to pay fines.
