I first discovered Pars Rug Gallery through social media and decided to entrust them with the cleaning and restoration of my silk Turkish Hereke rug.
Within three days of sending my rug, I received several photographs together with a detailed video report showing its condition before the cleaning and restoration commenced. Throughout the process, I was kept fully informed. Within two weeks, I received another comprehensive video report following the professional cleaning, along with numerous photographs showing the progress of the restoration.
The entire project was completed within approximately 4–5 weeks, and I could not be more impressed with the result. The craftsmanship, professionalism, attention to detail, and level of communication were truly exceptional.

We came to Arash at Pars Rug Gallery with a 40-year-old hand-knotted Pakistani wool rug, purchased second-hand from a big family with three little children. It had clearly been well-loved over the years and had survived multiple moves, including to a different country. It was a beautiful piece, but very dirty with sand and years of neglect, and on top of that, it had a severe moth infestation, with eggs laid all over both the back and front of the rug.
The beauty of the rug made us want to save it, so we reached out to Pars Rug Gallery hoping for a miracle. We filled out their online quote form and within an hour received a quote for either a standard or deep clean. We agreed on a same-day pickup, and Arash showed up right on schedule in his gorgeous, sharp-looking blood-orange van.
Before the pickup, we had a phone call to explain the severity of the moth problem and our desire to save the rug rather than write it off. Arash immediately understood and reassured us, with clear, honest communication about exactly what they could and would do to clean it, how long it would take, and what our options were. He promised us before-and-after photos, and delivered on that promise the moment the rug was ready.
It's genuinely hard to put into words what a wonderful and easy experience this has been considering the state of the rug and the immaculate condition it's been returned to us in.

Moths had been savaging two lovely Turkish rugs, and as I was away a lot, I didn't realise straight away how extensive the damage had been. I sent them to Pars Rug Gallery and Arash discussed the damage over video link before getting on with the repairs. They now both look new and the colours are much more vivid, having been cleaned thoroughly as well. Arash & Maryam have both been very helpful on the phone and I can't thank them enough.

We had an accident with a mug of tea on our lovely 30 year old rug. I contacted Pars Rug Gallery and received a very quick reply despite it being the weekend. Arash collected my rug and got it photographed by his team. Whilst it took a few weeks for the cleaning and restoration process, the end result was worth it. We had a disaster, flooding from a leaked pipe up stairs came through the ceiling and onto our silk carpet in the dining room. The carpet was soaked through in one area. I had no idea what to do, googled and found Pars Rugs in Romsey. It was just before five o'clock at night and within 30 minutes Arash was at our property, he was very professional and was at pains to ensure that we understood the process. The carpet was taken for cleaning/drying and later colour restoration. We picked up our carpet yesterday and it is in pristine condition, the colors are bright and the texture of the silk restored to its original condition. I am so grateful for Arash's quick reaction and the return of our carpet looking better than ever. Thank you Arash.

The silk rug had been mine for over 40 years and was showing signs of wear. The carpet fringe was damaged and the rug needed cleaning. Finding the right people to do this work is not easy. It needs a professional and knowledge company with plenty of experience in this field. Fortunately after a longtime searching I found Pars Rug Gallery. The work and handling was overseen by Maryam Gholamhosseini and I’m delighted with the results. Almost better than when I bought in new! Thank you Maryam.

Pars Rug Gallery was recommended by a friend and I was not disappointed. They did an excellent job cleaning my rugs. They all came back brighter and with no colour runs.
I have also bought a rug from them. I needed a rug of particular dimensions and Arash worked hard to find one that was the right size and was happy for me to trial it to be sure I was happy with my choice.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this business. Repeated difficulties in contacting them and promises on deadlines repeatedly broken. Strange knee jerk responses to my messages with calls late at night. Wonder if more than one business is being attended to with consequences as clearly admin chaos.
Carpet eventually returned 3 weeks later than agreed on demanding its return in whatever state and was in good condition well cleaned and restored. In view of my experience had expected some concession would be made on price. None offered so proposed one myself. Reaction was incredible: he picked up the carpet and threatened to remove it. Pointed out this was theft and blackmail. Asked him to leave. Refused. Police called and on call pointed out to him that he was likely to be in breach of the peace and prone to arrest if police attended the scene. Continued to refuse to leave without payment. Police car despatched but then left so cancelled.
I am glad others have had better experiences but I would not use again in a million years.
Edit (reply to response): it subsequently emerged that the cleaning was not good either and I had to have the whole carpet recleaned at another (excellent) provider. So no good aspects and further expense.

I feel totally ripped off by my experience with this business. I was advised to get three rugs that I had cleaned at a cost of £630. This was based on the assumption that once cleaned they would be back to somewhere near their full value. Having had them cleaned I was advised that they were damaged, which could have been seen from the initial inspection, and repairs would cost thousands of pounds. I was promised that this would restore their value and I would recoup my costs and a profit.
I decided to take a second opinion and this was completely different. So I feel conned out of £630 cleaning costs that were a complete waste of time and I was told the actual "cleaning" was not only overpriced, but a really bad job as well. Avoid!

I had a rather dirty old rug, bought from a junk shop, and now it is beautifully clean, with vibrant colours. Arash tells me it's a good quality Turkish carpet, and worth a lot more than I paid for it.
When I first packed up the rug and sent it on its way to Pars, the lack of any communication was concerning, as I had no idea whether it had arrived, and when, or even if, I could expect to see it again, but I needn't have worried, and I'm very happy with the outcome.

We are very pleased with them and they have already been admired by our family and visitors. We were particularly impressed by your willingness to allow us to try a choice of rugs in situ and your patience during the whole selection process.
