Absolutely horrible company!!

Absolutely horrible company!!! Please if you can stay away from these people. Order a part SPECIFICALLY listed for my vehicle. When I got the part it wasn’t the right part. I had to return said part; I had to pay $40 to send it back; 20% restocking fee when this is THEIR fault. Then, they received the return on Monday morning as of Tuesday afternoon it is still listed on their site as “waiting on return” even though tracking says they have it. Have already filed against them with the better business bureau and now considering a class action lawsuit as I see this is a common theme for this company

NEVER ORDERING FROM THEM AGAIN..

NEVER ORDERING FROM THEM AGAIN... I paid for expedited shipping and it still took 3 days to get on its way. Their site says 2 to 4 days for expedited shipping and its been a week. They hide behind the business days portion of their site but 4 business days would have gotten me the part yesterday. They use probably the worst shipping company allowed to operate in the states with Uniuni... I highly advise to buy your parts elsewhere or buy used. Its worth the risk versus your car being down until they finally decide to send what you paid for.

Sold a part that was out of stock then hold refund

I ordered a part that it said was in stock. No status change after a week. Called after a week and they said they would check on it. Status moved to sent to warehouse and then order received. Called again today to get the actual shipping time and they informed me that the part is out of stock and I would be refunded in 35 days. Don’t do business with these guys. The sell items they know are out of stock so they can hold your money.

The only two times I ordered a part for…

The only two times I ordered a part for my car I was sold the wrong part, the customer service reps are rude as hell. And the only good things about this site is you'll get mailed parts quickly, and the parts you order are dirt cheap..
I mean I don't know how you could get sending someone the wrong AC tube..
if I didn't know what I was doing with getting the right parts for my car then this rating would be a big fat zero..

I ordered a part

I ordered a part. When received, I quickly saw that it wasn't the correct dimensions as the original. I called them and was told that I would need to ship back. Nothing unusual, right? Wrong. Apparently their return policy is complicated. And though I did everything their rep told me, my return was completed minus a 30% restocking fee. I recorded the conversation, and nothing was mentioned. I called back when I finally received my partial return, only to be told that I didn't follow their rma return policy. Which, mind you, was never mentioned during my first conversation. So, from a $40 part including expedited service fee, taxes, and shipping. I received $18 back bc of a 30% restocking fee and not to mention the cost to ship back which was around $10. The part I received was not the correct part... And their rep wanted my vehicles vin# to determine whether I was negligent in ordering the wrong part. Which I wasn't. I will never order anything from this shady company again. And I strongly advise all of you to be careful.

Experience was really -50

Experience was really -50. Ordered resistor for my Yukon. It was in for a week and went back out. It's 100 degrees out and I have no air again. The process is to take it out mail it back in but amother, wait 4 or 5 days for it to come in the mail then install it or pay the guy again to come install it. The rep was rude, the supervisor was rude, umhelpful and even went as far as to say something about being here in person. I promise if they're was a store here and I was standing in front of him in person his tone would be very different... Don't waste your time, go to a real place in your area that way if anything happens you can go in and handle it right away. It may say new and it may cheaper but it's not better. I've learned that hard lesson with a few parts from them

PartsGeek killed me

I have to drive 2 hours away to visit my doctor. When the rear struts of my car finally gave out, they caused damage to the sway bar and toe adjustment links. Since I had to get all that replaced, I decided to just to the front end as well.

After placing a hefty order, culminating in an almost complete suspension rebuild, I waited a week before I learned my order was canceled. So I ordered again, only this time just the rear end parts because time was of the essence and I needed my car fixed to make it to the doctor as I had already missed one appointment.
Several days later, I found out the order had been canceled again.

I contacted customer support who told me I had canceled the order. Our maybe my bank did. But it certainly wasn't them. But they could put the order through again if i wanted, for an extra surcharge and if i just gave them my card details over the phone, even though they already had my card info.

I went to my bank, and they explained there was no issues with with the card or payment, they went through just fine, though the refund was still pending a week later. Nor did I cancel the order, as I needed those parts.

Now my car still won't drive, I don't have the parts to fix it or the money to buy it, and I missed my second doctor's appointment, which means I'm officially dying. PartsGeek kills.

Hello,

Hello,

I just purchased a new fender from Parts Geek. I actually talked to a live person and did not order it online. While talking to the live customer service they recommended I purchase a certain fender to fit my Honda Civic. We received it and it was for a coupe and not a sedan. A little upset as I had planned on that weekend to put it on. Make a long story short they ended up crediting me the fender and paid the freight for the return. Remember this was their mistake. I never was or have been credited the $160 in freight I paid to get the wrong part they suggested. Just buy from somewhere else. If they end up crediting my freight I will change my review. Otherwise plenty of other places out there. Buy elsewhere!!

Ordered condenser for my bmw

Ordered condenser for my bmw. 128.00 was supposed to have signature delivery. They just dropped it off at a random address. When I called parts geek some foreigner said that was my problem and hung up on me. So I had to figure out were it was left.

Ordered 4 parts, got one and lost $100.

I have placed an order for four parts and only received one. The order total was $140 including $30 for the super slow shipping. The value of the part I did receive is $24. I called the customer service asking for a clarification - he suggested that I will open a case and sent me on my way. More than $100 lost. Do not do business with this company.

Part = good PartsGeek = Terrible

Part - good, PartsGeek - BAD

The fuel injectors themselves are fine. My issue is entirely with PartsGeek.

I ordered these specifically because their listing stated O-rings were included. They weren’t. I contacted PartsGeek expecting a simple fix: send the missing seals, their inexpensive O-ring kit, or a small partial refund so I could buy them locally.

Their solution? Return the entire set of injectors.

The injectors were already installed because I trusted their product description. We’re talking about a few inexpensive rubber O-rings, not a defective part. I wasn’t asking for free injectors or anything unreasonable—I simply wanted PartsGeek to provide what they advertised as included.

Mistakes happen. What matters is how a company handles them. PartsGeek had an incredibly easy opportunity to make this right and chose not to.

Good part. Terrible customer service. I won’t buy from PartsGeek again.

Order from Partsgeek at your own risk.

Parts Geek sent me the wrong part. They finally accepted a return but refunded only part of my costs and I had to pay $18 to ship the part back. I am out $21 and four days waiting for their mistake to arrive. Order from these people at your own risk. Amazon has the same parts and will make a mistake right.

Terrible experience with Parts Geek

Terrible experience with Parts Geek. I ordered an A/C compressor for a 2008 Kia Optima and entered the vehicle information correctly. Parts Geek sent the wrong part. A mechanic confirmed that it was not the correct part for the vehicle.
What makes this experience even more frustrating is that Parts Geek acknowledged the problem themselves. Their return documentation lists the reason as “Inaccurate website description,” and they also sent an email stating, “We apologize that you received an incorrect part(s).” They authorized the return and instructed us to send it back.
We returned the part, and Parts Geek received it. They then refused to issue the refund because the part had been “used or installed.” But how are you supposed to determine that a part is incorrect if it has never been installed? The part was installed specifically so we could determine that it was the wrong part.
Now Parts Geek has the returned part and our money.
We are extremely disappointed with how this was handled. If a company sends the wrong part, acknowledges that it was the wrong part, authorizes the return, receives the merchandise back, and then refuses to refund the customer, that's not acceptable customer service.
I would strongly recommend being very careful when ordering from Parts Geek.

I had to send parts back

I had to send parts back . Because it was the wrong rotors . I had to pay $80 for shipping because unlike most companies they don’t pay for the return shipping . So after said and done I may get back %40 of the part cost after I’m out the shipping cost . Go to car parts.com better service they pay for the return if needed .

Instead of a set of inner and outer tie…

Instead of a set of inner and outer tie rods and a set of brakes, I received only the inner tie rods.
I thought it would be an easy fix by calling them. but the hotline just hangs up after saying they have high call volumes. Now I cannot complete the job and Parts geek is unresponsive with no means to communicate. Order# 32-9552502.

It's not really cheaper in the long run

The cost to ship a core part back is the same as the core charge. Save yourself the hassle and buy local. It was same price after paying shipping. The customer service rep i used to order my part only said get a hold of us when your ready to return it and we will email you all the info. Never once did he say and you'll be paying to ship it back. I will never use this site again! It cost them $11 to ship it to me, and it cost me $45 to shop it back. Which I did not do!
