Philadelphia inspired joint in central London. Serving up the only authentic Cheesesteaks, regional food and real buffalo wings.
Great place, friendly people and real food from Philly.
The barista in the Waterloo branch working in the morning is so rude, we entered to sit down for few pints and coffee, when during the wait to get a table , my father was going to take few pictures because it look a very cool place, but the barista started shouting at us.
I suggested to fire him.
Passyunk avenue - Nine elms Embassy Gardens, is our new favourite thing! The cheesesteak is superb and the ice cream sandwich is sublime! The vibe is great and the bar staff/servers are awesome - particular shout out to Paulina who goes above and beyond in their service! We’ll be back again soon!
We went to see the graffiti Tunnel and decided to pop in for lunch. We had 5 kids with us, who really enjoyed the All-American feel. You can play base ball in the net if you pre book. These were fully booked so I'd definitely recommend pre booking this. The food was great and came out to the table quite quickly. Would definitely recommend a visit.
I ordered love bundles online and chose the cheesesteaks and buffalo wings. (I wanted tater tots too but forgot to put them in my order. I did email to ask if I could pay and add them in but had no reply at all which was disappointing but it was my own fault for forgetting- no judgement on that apart from being a little irritated to be ignored!) It’s a shame they don’t give you the instructions in the box- the cost would be negligible but it would be so much more convenient than having to find them online and read from a phone screen.
I was SO excited for the bundles and expected them to be pretty magical. The buffalo wings were tasty and easy to do and the coating was great. Blue cheese sauce was good but very strong and absolutely huge portions- ended up chucking one away. It seems the wings are already cooked and you’re kind of reheating/ crisping them up. That did mean the meat was quite dry once you’ve prepared them as instructed.
I’ve never had cheesesteaks before so I can’t say whether they’re authentic or not but they were disappointing. You literally get meat, onions, bread and cheese (very easy to replicate). Instructions don’t tell you to season anything so I kind of presumed things were already seasoned since they’re kind of pre- prepped. They weren’t and so the whole thing was pretty bland. I followed the instructions to the letter and the bottom of the bread was soggy from the water they tell you to sprinkle on. I could’ve cooked them longer than directed but the top would definitely be burnt if I had. I cut the steak as directed but it doesn’t separate out as suggested, despite agitating it in the pan. This means that there was generally cubes of meat rather than it being sort of shredded.
Was it good? Yep. Was it great? Nope. Would I get it again? I personally would not.

BEST American food this side of the Atlantic. No muss, no fuss deliciousness and always service with a smile. Every whiff of their food reminds me of home. Can't wait to get back there.
Very nice food, in fact for me thats the best option down on Westfield Stratford city!
I'm from Philadelphia. My favourite food is a Philly Cheesesteak. It has to be done correctly or I'll hate it.
These guys are from Philly, they do things right.
Guy serving me was from around the corner from where I grew up.
