When no other payment processor accepts you, usually payoneer will, yes they have higher fees but that's because they are everywhere, global, if you can't find a processor use them

Breach of guidelines
Got scammed by Payoneer
Got scammed by a seller using Payoneer and they refused to chargeback because "it's been 2 months and the funds were already transferred"
Except during those 2 months, I kept contacting them almost daily to process the chargeback, and they kept asking the same info and going back and forth to delay things lol.
As if it was on purpose so they could deny the chargeback.
They protect scammers and frauds, if you use Payoneer, it's at your own risks.
Horrible experience
Just a terrible experience setting up an account with Payoneer. If I could give them a zero rating I would.
Support staff poorly qualified to handle he most basic queries.
After waiting weeks my account was not approved. No reason given or any assistance or advice on how to rectify.
They make you feel like a criminal.
Stable but too many charges!
Stable but too many charges!
Inbound 1%, then outbound 3%! Account maintenance fee! Card fee, so many fees!
I hope they reduce the fees a bit.
Refund my money
Since my account was closed, a client payment of 200 USD has been pending for 35 days in my business account. Up to this moment, you have not been able to inform me how I should proceed to recover my funds. I want my money back or for it to be returned to my client.
Start being professional with your customers. Close my account. There was a pending payment from a client and, so far, you haven't released it to me. I need my funds.
I am no longer interested in keeping this account. I am simply requesting the return of the funds that have been pending in my business account for 35 days. Please, return my money.
The worst company ever. Avoid!
I have an eBay store, and I receive my funds to my Payoneer account simply because I have no choice and eBay only works with them. Unfortunately, my experience with this company has been extremely frustrating and disappointing.
My account was suddenly restricted with the message “Balance disabled,” and my funds are completely frozen with no access. I contacted customer support, and I was told by a representative that the issue would be resolved quickly. However, it has now been a week and my account is still frozen with no real progress or meaningful updates. He also said that I will receive an email update, but of course, nothing arrived.
Beyond the lack of transparency, there is a clear lack of urgency or concern for customers who rely on this service for their daily business operations. When business funds are locked without a clear timeline or solution, it directly affects your livelihood.
At this point, I am extremely disappointed with how this company operates. Truly unacceptable service from a company that holds people’s money.
Payment #1001222232 was refunded for…
Payment #1001222232 was refunded for the second time today because Payoneer's manual review is slower than their automatic refund timer. I provided everything, was told to wait, and then watched the money get cancelled while waiting. This company is incompetent and their internal departments do not communicate with each other. They cost me a client and a lot of money today. Terrible, unprofessional, and unreliable.
Best app and easy to use
So I see "We’re verifying your info It…
So I see "We’re verifying your info It usually takes 2 business days" for 2 MONTH. Despite I received email that my account approved month ago my cabinet is dead. Customer service useless. Payoneer - the worst service i've ever used, if you have a choice - avoid it. Absolute disrespect of users
Stuck in a loop for 20 days! 104438810
My account verification has been pending for over 20 days now. Every time I try to check the status or reach out to customer support through the Help Center, the system continuously redirects me to an information page that says "please wait for 2 business days."
It has been nearly three weeks, and this massive delay is heavily blocking my e-commerce business operations on eBay. The automated support system is completely broken and trapped in a loop. I need a real human support agent to look into my account and expedite the process.

This company is absolute garbage
This company is absolute garbage. I am a Korean user who tried to use Payoneer for eBay. Two months ago, I paid for and submitted my official Resident Registration Certificate (as requested), but they keep rejecting my verification for no reason. I’ve been ignored for two months, and their support is non-existent. I am now going to post about this everywhere in Korean online communities to make sure no one else falls for this scam."
Account Restricted for Weeks Without Clear Reason or Support
I have been a Payoneer customer for over 12 years, but my recent experience has been extremely disappointing. For the past several weeks, my account has been restricted without any clear explanation. As a result, I am unable to send or receive payments, which is directly affecting my work and income.
Payoneer requested address verification documents, and I submitted an official property tax document. Despite this being a valid government-issued document, it was rejected without any proper explanation or guidance on what exactly is wrong or what alternative documents are acceptable.
The lack of transparency and support is frustrating. There is no clear communication, and it feels like customers are left stuck without solutions. After more than a decade of using their services, I expected a much higher level of professionalism and customer care.
At this point, I cannot recommend Payoneer due to their poor support and account management practices.
Funds frozen for over 2 months with zero updates – Unacceptable service
I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with Payoneer's services. My account has been completely non-functional and placed under an endless "internal review" for over two months now. A verified payment sent from Fiverr has been stuck in "Pending" status for more than 60 days.
I have repeatedly contacted customer support, only to receive generic, automated, or copy-pasted responses stating that the issue is being handled by "multiple departments" and compliance teams. Despite confirming that no further documents are needed from my side, they refuse to provide a specific timeframe or resolution.
Holding a freelancer's hard-earned livelihood for two months without any clear communication or compliance justification is completely unprofessional and unethical. If Payoneer cannot process my money, they should immediately reject and bounce the funds back to Fiverr so I can withdraw them via alternative methods, or release them to my linked bank account.
I demand an immediate escalation and resolution of this matter by a senior compliance manager.

Absolutely rubbish company terrible…
Absolutely rubbish company terrible customer service tried to register my account got an email as account closed . Provided everything to rectify the mistakes . Only got a generic email. Thank god saved me the headache . I could just imagine if business was all setup and these guys randomly just decided to close the account. So I’ll gladly take my buisness elsewhere looking at the most recent reviews please stay away from this company .its not about if its about when they sudden block your account and the your business transactions all stopped because of this
Avoid Payoneer, they hold your money and give you no answers
I've had one of the worst financial experiences of my life with Payoneer. They placed my payments under "review" and held my funds for over 15 days without ever explaining why. Every time I contacted support, I got the same scripted, friendly-sounding replies with zero actual help no timeline, no reason, no resolution. The reps are trained to sound warm while telling you absolutely nothing useful.
When I asked when my own money would be released, the answer was essentially "we don't know." You are left chasing and practically begging for funds that belong to you. For a company that's supposed to help you "grow your business," they do the opposite they freeze your cash flow and leave you in the dark.
If you rely on getting paid on time, do not use this platform. There are far better and more transparent alternatives.
I had a very disappointing experience…
I had a very disappointing experience with Payoneer.
After using the platform, my account was suddenly closed following what they called a "compliance review." The only explanation I received was a generic email stating that my account activity did not align with their Terms and Conditions, but no specific reason or evidence was provided.
As a customer, it is extremely frustrating to have your account terminated without clear details about what rule was supposedly violated. I was simply told to find another payment provider and that future payments would be declined.
Financial service companies have every right to enforce their policies, but customers also deserve transparency and proper explanations when such serious actions are taken. Receiving a template response instead of meaningful clarification left me feeling ignored and unsupported.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Payoneer to anyone who values clear communication and customer support. If your account is flagged for any reason, be prepared for the possibility of losing access to the service without receiving a detailed explanation.

Title: Account closed without explanation + funds withheld
I used Payoneer for legitimate business — I run a website design service and received around $300 from a client.
After a few normal transactions (a business course payment, Upwork subscription, and a withdrawal), my account was first locked and then permanently closed.
Here’s the problem:
Payoneer has refused to explain what exactly I did wrong.
I contacted support multiple times, offered invoices, client proof, and receipts — but every response was a generic template pointing to “Terms and Conditions” with no specific violation mentioned.
Even worse, they have not clearly communicated how or when my remaining funds will be released.
From a user perspective, this feels like:
Account closed → no explanation → money stuck.
If you’re using Payoneer, be careful. Even legitimate business activity can get flagged, and getting a real answer is extremely difficult.
For anyone facing similar issues, you can file official complaints here:
CFPB (US)
NY Attorney General
NY Consumer Protection
I’ve already filed a complaint and will continue escalating until this is resolved.
Title: Payoneer charged me 4% withdrawal fee, ignored their own published fee schedule, and took over 3 weeks to admit they wouldn't fix it — avoid
I want to share my experience with Payoneer so that other freelancers, especially those based outside the US, know what they're getting into before trusting this platform with their hard-earned money.
I am a freelancer based in Switzerland, receiving regular monthly payments from my US-based employer. I had approximately $6,000 sitting in my Payoneer USD balance that I needed to withdraw.
The problem:
Every withdrawal destination I tested — a Wise USD account (US bank, USD currency), Revolut, and my Swiss bank account — showed a fee of 4% of the transaction amount. On $6,000 that's $240.
Why this matters:
Payoneer's own publicly available fee schedule, filtered specifically for Switzerland and effective October 2026, clearly states that the maximum applicable fee for my type of withdrawal is 3%, not 4%. Their own website also advertises a flat fee of $1.50 for same-currency USD withdrawals. I hold a USD bank account in the United States. Neither rate was applied to my account.
What happened when I complained:
I contacted Payoneer support and what followed was over three weeks of:
* Multiple agents giving contradictory and inconsistent explanations for the fee
* First: fees vary by withdrawal type
* Then: the fee is set by the receiving bank
* Then: the fee is tied specifically to my Wise USD account
* Then: 4% is simply the correct rate for my account
* A supervisor call offered but scheduled outside the availability window I provided, at an unsuitable time, and ignoring my clearly stated preference for a video call
* A week of silence from their Internal Review team after escalation
* A final response dismissing my complaint and marking the case as "resolved" without addressing the specific discrepancy between the fee charged and their own published documentation
The notification contradiction: When I pushed back, Payoneer claimed fee changes were communicated via in-app notifications effective January 20th 2026. They then contradicted themselves by stating the last notification was sent on June 16th 2026 — which happens to be the exact same day I formally notified them of my intention to file regulatory complaints. No such notification exists in my app. When I pointed out this contradiction, they did not address it.
Their own website said 3%:
Throughout this entire dispute, Payoneer's own public website displayed a fee of 3% for Switzerland-registered accounts — directly contradicting the 4% being charged to my account. Their response was to say the website information was "outdated." That is not an acceptable explanation when customers are making financial decisions based on published information.
The outcome:
After over three weeks, multiple escalations, complaints filed with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), the Better Business Bureau (BBB), and the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS), Payoneer refused to correct the fee or offer any refund. I am now closing my account and withdrawing my balance at the 4% fee — because I have no other choice.
My employer is also moving away from Payoneer for business payments as a direct result of this experience.
My advice:
If you are a freelancer based outside the US considering Payoneer — don't. The platform works well for receiving money, but getting your money back out is where they make their profit, and their fee structure is opaque, inconsistently communicated, and seemingly applied at their discretion. When you complain, you will be met with templated responses, shifting explanations, and ultimately a wall of indifference.
Use Wise instead. It is transparent, consistent, and actually treats international customers fairly.
My account has been locked for 10 days without any updates! Case #260612-019401
My account (Anastasiia K.) was locked during a routine address verification.
I provided a fresh, official bank certificate in English with a verification QR code via Case #260612-019401. Support agent Anna promised a review within 2 business days, but it has been a week of total silence. This is completely unacceptable. I provided perfect documents, and now I am just being ignored.
Please, check my case #260612-019401 and unlock my account!
Blocked payments, broken verification and zero support
I used Payoneer back around 2018 and never had any issues with the platform. However, after recently reactivating my account to receive a payment, the experience has been incredibly frustrating.
The first payment I was supposed to receive was blocked without clear, immediate explanation. After digging through the interface, I noticed the Verification Center and uploaded my official citizen ID. Shockingly, the system rejected it. I have used this exact same ID to verify my identity on countless other global platforms and have never experienced an issue like this before.
To make matters worse, I opened a support ticket to get this resolved, and it has been days without a single response. The contrast between how reliable this platform used to be versus how poor their current UI feedback and customer support are today is deeply disappointing.
Account verification pending for +2 weeks
I am waiting for 2 weeks for a document that's left under review, and I still don't have the SEPA account credentials. I answered all KYC questions that the support agent asked me when I submitted the documents.
I later called support twice and they said they will prioritize my issue, but they did not do anything. I also opened multiple support tickets and sent multiple emails, and I still have no answers.
