I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Payoneer.
Over the past two months, I spent a significant amount of time completing every requirement requested by Payoneer. I submitted my identity documents, bank account information, business details, and completed all verification steps requested by the company.
My National ID was approved. My bank account was approved. I followed every instruction provided by the support team and cooperated throughout the entire process.
However, after investing weeks of effort and waiting for reviews and approvals, I was asked to complete an additional verification step. As soon as I completed that verification, my account was closed.
What frustrates me the most is that I was never provided with a clear explanation of what specific issue caused the closure of my account. Despite multiple support tickets and repeated requests for clarification, I received only general responses without a clear reason or practical solution.
As someone who was preparing to use Payoneer for business purposes and receive payments through my online work, I feel that a great deal of my time was wasted during this process.
This review reflects my personal experience as a customer. I hope Payoneer improves its communication, transparency, and support process for future users.

2-Day Account Authorization Took A Month And Still Counting.
2-day account authorization took almost a month and still not concluded. Despite recieving an email saying that my account was authorized and ready to use , I still cannot use it. I've created my account on May 15th, got the confirmation mail on 17th, and I still cannot access my account. I've tried reaching to them via email, at first I was told it would be solved in 2 bussiness days. 5 days later I contacted them again and they gave the same answer. I've called them twice this week, once on monday and once on thursday. On monday they told me I'd get an email regarding the issue in two bussiness days and on thursday they told me it would be solved in a single bussiness day. Friday is almost over and I still haven't recieved an email nor can I access my account.

My experience with Payoneer support has been extremely disappointing.
My account was compromised after unauthorized changes were made to my account details, including my email address, on March 25. As soon as I discovered the issue, I contacted support and fully cooperated with every request they made.
I provided my National ID, photos, verification documents, old email address, alternate email address, and every other piece of information they requested. Despite this, I have spent almost a month explaining the same situation to different support agents over and over again.
Every agent gives a different answer. One tells me to wait 24–48 hours, another says the case has been escalated, another asks me to wait for an email, and then nothing happens. I have created tickets, replied to emails, and followed every instruction, but I rarely receive meaningful responses.
The most frustrating part is that I am unable to access my funds because my Payoneer account is unavailable, while my Upwork account was recovered after its own security review within a single day.
I understand that security procedures are important, but there should also be accountability and timely communication. A customer who has completed all verification requirements should not have to spend weeks chasing updates and repeating the same story to multiple agents.
I sincerely hope Payoneer improves its support process and handles account recovery cases more efficiently in the future.

The absolute worst customer experience
Few days after submitting documents for account verification I've received an email telling me my account has been deactivated, I won't be able to activate my account and the Customer Care Department will not respond to any of my queries. They will abruptly cut you off with zero human support or path to appeal.

Very very bad experience
Very very bad experience, no issue resolved since 18 May. Customer support knows nothing.
I have been using Payoneer for quite some time without any issues. However, over the last 3-4 weeks, I have been experiencing a serious problem while trying to add a recipient bank account.
As part of the verification process, I was asked to provide proof of identity for the recipient. I submitted the recipient's valid ID card details along with clear images of the original document. Despite providing authentic documentation, the verification has been under review since 18 May without a clear explanation.
When I call them or open a ticket, they say we are reviewing and can't give exact time frame.
In addition, this issue now appears to be affecting my account's normal operations. When I try to withdraw funds from Fiverr to Payoneer, Fiverr displays the message that my payout method has been declined. As a result, I am currently unable to receive my payments.
This situation is causing significant disruption to my business, as Fiverr is one of my primary sources of income. I would appreciate it if this matter could be reviewed and resolved as a priority. Ideally, I would like to regain access to my payments as soon as possible.

As a professional visual artist, having a reliable payment system is crucial. Payoneer has been an absolute disaster. My account verification has been stuck in a never-ending "pending" loop since May 7th. Because of this artificial delay, my payout integration with Adobe Stock is completely blocked and my earnings are essentially held hostage.
Their customer service is virtually non-existent. The Support Center on their website is literally broken (shows a blank gray screen locking you out of live chat), their emails are just endless automated bot replies, and they completely ignore direct messages on social media. I have wasted over a month dealing with this broken bureaucracy, whereas other platforms set up everything in 24 hours.
Completely unacceptable, unprofessional, and a massive waste of time for any serious creator. Fix your system!

Customer since 2014, and quite loyal for a long time, and this is probably my third review of them. Things went downhill since my last negative review back in 2023. Customer service is now horrific: empty pleasantries, 0 solutions. My account has been frozen for no solid reason. The excuse: "standard screening", they are asking for information regarding a commercial relationship with a client whom I've been working with and getting paid through Payoneer since 2020. I feel mistreated and disrespected. Dystopia is everywhere in 2026, also in the form of Payoneer's customer support and overall service.

Extortionate fees, lengthy processing delays
Payoneer claims that withdrawals "typically arrive on the same day", but that is a false claim. From my experience, withdrawals remain "under review" for anything from 24 hours to 4 days before being processed.
Withdrawals also involve extortionate uncapped fees, meaning that as a freelancer, you will find yourself graciously handing over >200 USD of your montly turnover to Payoneer for the simple task of transferring your hard-earned money from their bank account to yours.
Customer service is ensured by "AI bots", meaning that you will likely not get the answers you are looking for and that escalation processes will be fastidious at best.
Altogether, Payoneer strikes me as being a ludicrously overcharged payment service that offers little to no tangible benefits.
