I have and extended warranty that expires in 4 months . My refrigerator went three days ago .When the repair service came they said with a ten year old refrigerator it would not be a great idea to replace the compressor. Told that the warranty was only for service and not a replacement . They want to replace the compressor . With only a short time left on warranty was told parts would only be covered for 90 days .At this point I am extremely disappointed with PC Richards .

I purchased an electric dryer and paid for installation. It was installed fine. A couple of days later I noticed water all over my basement floor. It turns out the installer unplugged my basement freezer when he installed the dryer! I lost hundreds of dollars worth of food! I reported it to P.C. Richard and their response was that they are not responsible for their installer and they gave me the number of the installer. The installer, obviously, took no responsibility. If P.C. Richards is going to offer installation and take payment for it, they should take on the responsibility as well. I will not make any future purchases with them.

Dec 14, 2023 my husband and I purchased a sterns and foster mattress from Louis at the Kings Hwy PC Richards & Son Brooklyn store. We were listened to and directed towards the mattress that worked best for us. We were not pressured to purchase the mattress and he answered all of our questions and addressed our concerns. I would highly recommend this store and ask for Louis.

Funny: when I opened Trust Pilot to write a review warning people away from PC Richard, the most recent review displayed was from 6 days ago complaining of being victimized by the same PC Richard scam I’m writing to complain about ;-)
I purchased a gas range and when it arrived I was told I had to buy a new gas valve for $150, cash or check no credit card, otherwise the oven wouldn’t be installed - it would just be left in the middle of my kitchen. It seemed like an extremely high extortionate price but I was over a barrel and bought it. Fortunately, the delivery guy just happened to have a brass valve in his pocket.
I found out later that these things sell for between $7.00 and $16. And a friend pointed out that it would be incredible if I really did need a new one since brass is more corrosion resistant than stainless steel and gas lines don’t transport corrosive material like water. That made me feel even better!
$150 was a staggering ripoff - almost 1/4 the cost of the entire range itself - and I fell for it. Congratulations, PC Richard.
I'm embarrassed by how easily PC Richard scammed me but I won't let that stop me from publicly telling my story in every review forum I can find. There’s a Lowes and a Home Depot within 2 miles of the PC Richard in West New York. I’ve purchased many major appliances from them over the years (decades); their prices are competitive with PC Richards for the same machines and they’ve never once ripped me off the way PC Richard has.
Please do yourself a favor and avoid PC Richard like the plague. Go to any of their many, nearby competitors.
A gas valve for the installation of my new dryer cost me $120. It was a 1 minute job and the same valve at home depot is $10. While I don't expect to get a valve for free, I like to mention that I have already spent over $750 for the dryer and $30 for it's installation. When I asked the person that installed it to send me a receipt I was not given one. When I reported this to the manager of the Union branch I was promised an email that would state the extra cost of $120 I had to absorb and never send me one. This way of conducting business is unethical and lacks of transparency.
My husband and I have been a customer for over 20 years and all I can say is that Mario is the best salesman I have ever had the privileged to deal with. He helped me to get a replacement of my microwave, is kind, patient, goes beyond 100% of his job. No one even comes close to treating a customer with such care and diligence than Mario. I only deal with him, no one else. He is the very best of PC Richard!!!!
Merrick and Davie at the Manhattan 86th St. location were extraordinarily helpful and attentive to our needs. They had good follow-up and ensured our product was received in a very timely manner. Merrick followed-through throughout the process and past the deliver experience.
My first gaming PC was bought from here and the PC runs amazingly I love the graphics the fps is great and everything about it is great 100 percent recommend!!!

The Brick, NJ PC Richards salespeople and management are fraudsters, liars, thieves, and take advantage of local elderly customers. Went through an absolute weeks long nightmare because of the dishonest practices at this store. Don't know what other locations are like but, like most NJ businesses that rely on salespeople who work on commission (from my years of dealing with car stealerships and the like), they are slick talking bulls**t artists who especially prey upon women, the elderly, and the disabled, hoping and with the expectation that the consumers who fall into these catagories don't know any better and it's like open season to perpatrate fraud upon them. I had to go through the BBB and also file a report with the NJ attorney General's office to get a corporate rep to intervene who, amazingly, surprisingly, and thankfully, graciously, effectively, and successfully remedied the situation for the most part, although I ultimately feel we should have been offered a rebate for the mess and nonsense the Brick location caused our family with what should have been a simple and easy appliance purchase. I will never give PC Richards my business again, and I advise consumers to stay away, at least from this particular store.
My wife and myself went to P.C Richards in Lake Grove to purchase a washer and dryer set. We were helped by Ibrahim a very patient and knowledgeable man. Great experience!!
I don’t know where and how to start. But I am very very disappointed. I have been a customer for a long time. I did had miner issue in the past. But I let it go. But this is going to be my last purchase with this company. I just received my fridge on 11-17-23. Which I waited 2 month for. Since it was a special order black stainless. Wish I knew it’s would have took this long from the beginning. The sales person is very nice and helpful. No complaints.
As my delivery finally ready and the delivery guys came to look at my old fridge to take away to bring the new one. First the say the can’t take my old fridge because its too wide to fit the door way. I ask can you please remove my door. The say it’s not there job. Then the say if the remove my door that the fridge is to too big to take down. I live on the 2nd floor. All my appliance that I own came up those stairs.
Then if the do bring the old fridge down the give me there cost to do it $250.
What I am angry about that pc Richard say it free delivery door to door. Which it not true. Because u still paying out of your pocket because the say these guys not supposed to left heavy stuff. I refuse to pay those 2 guys $250. I had to pledge to them pleaseeee with tears in My eyes at least take my old fridge from the kitchen to the dinner room and leave it there so u can put the new fridge to it place. And the did. And I still tip them. When my husband came home he bring his friend and took my old fridge out with no problem.
I wish I would have read all the reviews pc Richard have before I had continue shopping with them. After my experience I decided to look back at there reviews and I can related to all those customers. Whoever decides to respond to my review please do not say ( I am so very sorry for your experience)
I want improvements. Otherwise this company will continue losing customers.
As for my warranty. That is my next step. I pray to god nothing happens to my fridge. Because I read the horrible experience customer have. And if I have to go true that with them. I will take this to consumer affair.
Had an issue with a sound bar. Store employee came by. While correcting the sound bar issue he inadvertently caused the picture panel to fail
Right before thanksgiving I have no use with my tv
Wanted it replaced as it wasn’t my fault or the fault of the tv it was an inexperienced store clerk who damaged the set
When asked for a replacement I was told matter in fact NO
I was huge PC Richard customer
Not any longer
Thanks to this Allen Amiano who won’t even discuss this with me sent an email
Such a cowardly way to respond
I’ve cancelled all my PC Richard CC
Will never do business there again
I am a customer of PC Richard since 2005. I trusted pc Richard for my appliances. But from now I can't trust them any more. I purchased refrigerator from PC Richard on Jun 30th, 2023. Delivery driver damaged my property. I reported to the store Fordam location in Bronx immediately. Store manager and sales representative Jesus advised me to contact corporate office and submit the claim. I submitted the claim and contact corporate office so many times but no one resolve this issues. every time I called they try to avoid this issue, I spent lot off money to fix it. It is almost two and half month , they didn't resolved it. PC Richard doesn't care the customer. we can't trust PC Richard any more. If any questions, feel free to contact me at 917 913 2511

The salesman at the Newington store, Chris S. was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and patient. It's always a pleasure to shop there when Chris is there. After looking at the many washers and dryers on display I chose the Samsung front load washer and matching dryer with pedestals in champagne. The color was beautiful and they were easy to understand plus they had an app for my phone so I would know when they are done. The delivery and set up was great, it's nice to have experienced delivery people that know how to set up your appliances. I am very happy with the Samsung washer and dryer, they are quiet and efficient, I love the steam feature for wrinkles. P.C. Richard's in Newington is the only place I buy all of my appliances, they have outstanding service and delivery, there are many appliances are on display to chose from and you can't beat their prices! I have attached a photo I took in the store of the Samsung washer and dryer I purchased, the pedestals are not shown. I hate spending money but when I have to I always go to P.C. Richard's in Newington because I know I will get the best product at the best deal.
This TV sale was so fraught with problems. It started with the promise of same day delivery. Well that did not happen. Then the TV that was finally shipped to me did not work. After dealing with various internet sales people, some who promised a call back, ( Evelyn)which again, never happened, a TV was delivered. At one point, I asked to speak to a manager, and that request was actually refused, (Omar)
Don’t use the website to shop, go to the store. Personally, I am done with PC Richards!
Our landlord requires tubing be connected to the drain pipe so that the water doesn't hit the building. I mentioned that the tubing needs to be installed when installing the air conditioner several times. This was not put into the work order and now PC Richard wants me to pay a second installation charge to install the tubing. They will not eliminate the second installation charge.
I’ll make it short and sweet: if you don’t want to get completely screwed with getting an appliance delivered, go elsewhere. This was the worst customer experience I’ve had in my life. TLDR: I’ve been shopping at P.C. Richard and Son since I was a kid. I recently bought a $2k LG washer and dryer tower at this location. They scheduled the delivery promptly with a ‘white glove service’ delivery crew. On the date of the delivery, the delivery window of 7:46-10:45 came and went. They called at 4pm saying the unit was damaged and I could still get it delivered if I wanted. I’m good on that. They rescheduled the delivery in 2 days and gave me $100 discount for the inconvenience. Awesome. The 2nd delivery date came and I got a call at 8 am from the delivery driver saying they would be there at 9am. Everything was working out. No show. I called P.C. Richard and Son at noon and they apologized and said the owner of the delivery company would personally come to the house in 30 min. At 1pm they finally arrived. The guy apologized. The unit ended up being so big that it had to be taken apart in order to fit into the house. Luckily, my GC was at the house and said he would do it. The YouTube video for the unit showed the process (I guess it’s a thing with this appliance) which was literally 2 minutes long and involved 5 screws. The owner of the delivery company said that although they were 4 hours late, he was busy and would not wait the 5 minutes while the unit was disassembled. He then loaded the unit back on the truck and parked up the block from my house and sat there for 45 minutes, while I was on the phone with P.C. Richard & Son, getting a refund for the appliance. They processed the return and I had BestBuy deliver it the next day, no issues. Problem solved, but there was a lesson learned; never buy anything from P.C. Richard & Son. P.S. Martin the manager at the store is a nice guy and apologized that this happened, although he couldn’t do anything about it.
I purchased a HotPoint Dryer from PC Richards. It cost me close to $900 to deliver, installed and haul away the old one. I was told by two techs that the dryer is basic, it's a poor-quality dryer, and you get what you pay for. I've wasted hours on the phone with GG Appliance and PC Richards, and today they told me I cannot exchange the dryer. I said I would pay for an upgrade. I am not happy with this dryer and would like a better-quality one. Again, I was told no. I have wasted time and money over the last month on this dryer (that doesn't even dry clothes). I am totally frustrated and will never purchase any products from PC Richards again and will tell everyone else that I know to stay away from PC Richards. Their policies are horrific, as is their customer service.
