Our company needed to send info to a GC for a large commercial project. Found what we needed, filled it out, downloaded and sent in less than 20min.

PDFsail seems at this early point to be an easy-to-use converter to ",PDF" format--while not being expensive.

I searched Google for "Compress PDF for Free." PDFSail was the top result. The precise wording on the PDF Sail Google result is this: "Compress PDF online for Free | Reduce PDF File Size. Compress PDF files online for free without losing quality. Reduce your PDF file size in seconds with no signup required and easy-to-use tools."

Well anyone who is familiar with using the English language to make a statement will see fairly clearly that it explicitly states that I can compress my PDFs for free. In their FAQ section at the bottom of the page on their website, it states: "Is PDFsail’s PDF Compressor Free to Use?
Yes! Like all our tools, our online PDF compressor is completely free to use to reduce file size."

Well, to my surprise, when I tried to download my PDF it then came up with a very expensive subscription option. I'm not sure what definition of free they are using, but this is certainly not what most people would understand free to mean. So, it only lets me download my PDF if I sign up to an extremely expensive service. So now we discover we can compress our files for free, but we can't download our files for free.

This company is either a scam, or has no idea how customer service works.

I used the product once. 6 months later I was randomly charged AUD$254.43. I immedaitely emailed them requesting a refund on 7/12/25. I got a response to go to the website and provide my product ID or PayPal order number. I do not know where to find either, because the website is terrible. So I gave them my name, email address linked to the account, and account ID.

I am then told my subscirption has been cancelled, but nothing about a refund. 9 days after their response I email again, requesting a refund with the same information I gave them before. They sent the same email 4 days later to log in and provide the above details. I respond within 24 hours and get the same email again telling me that my subcription has been cancelled. I have yet to see my money back and I have not been given any information about the refund. Their last email was 15 days ago. 6 weeks since I was randomly charged. 4 emails asking for a refund. No solution.

I wish I had done my research. DO NOT USE PDFSAIL. It seems I am not the first with this experience, and I will not be the last I am sure...

Watch out for this, they disguise their service with a trial period. Paid a small amount for a one-time download of a pdf file and was then automatically charged 179 USD for a full priced yearly subscription that I did not authorize. Also not easy to contact the company for refund. Just avoid.

This is a scam site. They will start billing you whether you sign up for a subscription or not. You can get it refunded but it is just a headache to report and chase down.

I signed up for free use trial for one day to process documents for my brother for college. I somehow got charged 199.99 dollars for some exclusive subscription I never signed up for. I have been emailing them and sent the requested account information they asked for and now they’ve stopped responding. I will try once more to get a response and respond if not I will be reporting the company for fraud and reporting it to my bank. This is absolutely absurd. Please don’t use this company!!!

It runs smoothly on every browser I've tried, from Chrome to Safari. I haven't had any compatibility issues at all!

I don't need complex tutorials for this! It's intuitive and ready to use right away - I mastered the functions without any hassle.
