We honestly cannot recommend Pennyfarthing highly enough! From start to finish, they have been absolutely amazing and excellent throughout the entire process. We purchased our property at Potters Wood, and the experience has exceeded our expectations. A huge special mention to Jackie, who has been a complete breath of fresh air — friendly, supportive, and incredibly helpful every step of the way.

As expected with any new build, we had a few minor snags, but these were all resolved almost immediately and without any fuss. The professionalism, efficiency, and communication from the whole team have been outstanding.

Everyone we have dealt with at Pennyfarthing has been extremely professional and genuinely lovely to deal with. We would 100% recommend Pennyfarthing to anyone looking for a new home.

Moving is very stressful and it was our first new home purchase we cannot stress enough how polite,courteous,informative and a consummate professional Richard Stephen’s was when buying our bungalow at Oakwood grove Alderholt

From start to finish Jackie has gone above and beyond answering my endless amount of questions and concerns to an extremely satisfactory level. Pennyfarthing have out done themselves and we’re very grateful for our wonderful little home. Nothing seemed too much hassle, even the smallest things like asking them to use grey grout to match the grey tiles has been done along with matching silicone in the shower as well. So far we’ve been extremely lucky and not encountered any snags, which hopefully remains the case! A big thank you to all the team that helped build this house from exterior to interior!

Beautiful high quality homes with a lot of attention to detail. Jackie the sales exec was very friendly and took time to answer our questions. Very much recommend this company if you’re looking for a new home.

We bought a bungalow at Oakwood Grove and our sister and brother in law tried to buy a property on the same estate but they were dumped just as they were ready to exchange contracts after a difficult couple of chain breaks. Pennyfarthing even withheld some of the reservation fee and cost them thousands in wasted legal fees. No understanding of current market turmoil and difficulty for customers to get to completion. There wasn’t even another customer trying to buy their plot which is still unsold!!

We were looking to buy a property in the Fordingbridge area and Whitsbury Green came up on our search. New build wasn't really on our radar but we decided to pop in to the sales office and see what was on offer. Of course the plot we liked had not been released and it would mean buying off plan with a long wait ahead. Richard at the Whitsbury Green sales office was so helpful and knowledgeable, we viewed several completed houses with him and felt comfortable that we could trust the process. We are so pleased that we made the decision to buy because we have now been in residence a few weeks and are super impressed with the development, the house and the build quality. Yes we have had a few snags but these have been sorted quickly and professionally by Amy the assistant site manager and other contractors. It did feel a bit like a leap of faith when we decided to go ahead with a house purchase when all we could see were plans but we are very pleased with our choice. Richard kept has updated throughout, answered questions and ensured the process ran smoothly. Pennyfarthing have a team to be proud of everyone we have met or spoken to have been excellent but Richard and Amy really stand out for their customer focus.

I bought my first flat from Pennyfarthing in June and it’s my perfect little home!! They have been so helpful and were really great throughout the buying process, they helped chase solicitors when I was being ignored! And have checked in to make sure I’m happy with everything! Which I am extremely it’s a lovely flat, so light and airy and it’s been a perfect start to make my own!!

We first visited Penny Farthing Homes in February, where we met Jackie at Potters Wood—and from that moment, the experience has been nothing short of fantastic. The flat is under the first homes scheme which meant that I could purchase my first home at a more affordable price due to the first homes scheme discount.

The quality and attention to detail of the flat is second-to-none.

Site have been really helpful and made the process as straightforward as it could be.

When we decided it was time to move on we knew we really wanted a new build house so it would be eco friendly and low maintenance. We looked at lots of properties but Potters Wood worked for us as we have family close by. It took a while to decide which house suited us best but having moved in a month ago we are very happy with our decision. The buying and selling process took longer than expected and was stressful at times but Jackie from the sales office was always available on site or over the phone to help and give good advice which was just wonderful. Just before we completed we met Matthew who has been so helpful dealing with any items needing attention. Both Jackie and Matthew are a great asset to Penny Farthing homes and we hope they are suitably valued by the company. Thank you both for helping make our move a successful one.

So we were mucked around by various different estate agents and also new build developers. After horrible experiences across the board we were cautious about Penny-farthing at first but couldn't have asked for a better experience when buying a first time home. Richard from day one made us feel at ease and was confident in the product!! But one thing that makes him and the company stand out is they never pushed us into anything, they answered questions, gave us time, sorted any slights concerns and since moving in have been very hot on any snags or concerns we have had since being here.

We viewed our house and completed within 2 months, its un heard of but couldn't have done it without Richard and a few others. The quality of the houses are just amazing and the customer service from Matt and the team afterwards has been next level.

All i would say is look into different solicitors if possible, we were recommended Bower and Bailey by Penny-farthing and to be honest they were very poor with communication and also basic formalities which i dont think is that hard to get right.

Buying our first home was made super easy and an enjoyable experience with penny farthing and most of all richard, he checked in with us through the whole process and would always phone with updates on how the process was doing, we are super happy with our new home and have had very little snags. We were lucky enough to buy on the “First homes” scheme, without this we would not have been able to buy our first home.
From start to finish, it has been a great experience. Jackie from sales has been extremely helpful, being a first time buyer I had a lot of questions. She was always on hand to answer them which she did fully and always put our minds at rest.
Customer care have been great with any snags there were or questions, they replied promptly and dealt with these in a timely manner.

We are absolutely thrilled with our first home! We were lucky to be selected for one of the first five homes at Whitsbury Green, and the whole process has been smooth sailing from start to finish. Richard in sales has been incredibly helpful and always a friendly face, ready to answer our question, even after we’d moved in. Since moving in, any small snagging issues we had were dealt with promptly, leaving us very happy with the overall experience. Highly recommended!

I just cannot rate this any less than 5 stars, we reserved a house at Whitsbuury Green, unfortunately we lost our buyers and the house, but with the help of Richard, he has helped us move into another house on the same site, we are so grateful for this and i believe would never of done this without Richard's help. So thank you so much for all the help and advice you gave us, we love our house and all the neighbours are great, probably never move, quality is fantastic, would definitely recommend to friends and family Xxx
