I paid out my car loan with Pepper Finance over a week ago. I’m now trying to trade in my vehicle, only to find there is still money showing on it and the security interest hasn’t been removed.This has been an absolute nightmare to resolve. I strongly advise everyone to avoid Pepper Finance. Absolute scammers.

Edit- I have emailed and still not heard back from them. It is illegal to withhold loan information. I am sure I will get my next bill and still not hear back.
I have had to file a complaint with the AFCA just to get my loan details.
These guys will bombard you when they are after something. If you want to know something about YOUR loan, they will never respond to you. I have been locked out of being able to access information for my loan. I have asked for my information and it has been 2 weeks. Go with someone else if you’re looking for a loan their service sucks

If I could give zero stars I would
If I could give zero stars I would. I paid out the car loan a year ago and am now trying to trade in my car only to find Pepper Finance have not removed the security interest on the car. This now means I can't trade in the car. I have been on the phone with 5 people so far who have all said it will be done in an hour and no one has actually done it. Absolutely disgusting and I will tell anyone who asks to avoid them like the plague.

An absolute breath of fresh air, amazing
Honestly for a finance company or lender if you prefer these guys/gals they/them whatever else you want to identify as, aIt has been the most pleasant easy to deal with group, the website is easy to navigate to check on your account what's upcoming or if have adjustments to make even calling on the phone. Which is something I never thought I'd say about dealing with customer service over the phone normally you expect to be on hold for hours only to be transferred and put on hold and so on and so on but this was so simple I called got through to someone almost immediately did the usual identity check and low and behold the same person I spoke to took the call handled my inquiry and got me an answer on the spot omg.

Very amateurish service. Was charged fees because they recorded details incorrectly. Charged fees because they changed due amount without informing us. I’m sure there are more professional lenders out there. Use them instead
