I wrote to perfect tipple stating that…

I wrote to perfect tipple stating that I had ordered two items from them on the 26/07/2026 and despite in their order confirmation saying that it would be with me in 2-3 working days, it still hasn’t arrived. Needless to say, I was not impressed!
They replied with: "We are very sorry for the delay in receiving your order, it was due to be delivered on 31st July. On looking into this further Royal Mail should have carded you as there was an issue our end with postage (that we were unaware of) but we have now sorted this and your order should be with you on Friday."
Perfect Tipple had not sorted this out as I received a demand from Royal Mail for £5.20 as Perfect Tipple had under-paid the full postage and included in that £5.20 was a 'Handling fee'.
I replied to Perfect Tipple's email with the following:
"I presume therefore that having been harassed by Royal Mail into having to pay a surcharge on postage through insufficient postage paid that it is your item that they have linked it to and that I have been inconvenienced by.
I entered into the purchase with you in good faith – sadly, I did not realise that you are a cowboy outfit.
Needless to say, the item has still not arrived". I added that I would write a damning review concerning the time taken because of their error and that I had paid for the cost of their products that included postage, only to find that I had to pay for their shortfall in postage as well as Royal Mail's 'Handling fee'.
Perfect Tipples reply to me was:
"What an awful response, it was only a weight error due to extra packaging to make it secure"
i.e. no attempt to rectify a problem of their making and absolutely no customer service.
Avoid AT ALL COST...literally!
