Remy Latour opens Cigar Cologne on plum, pineapple, bergamot, pear, and Amalfi lemon, a fruity citrus rush that feels considerably brighter than the smoky name might initially suggest. Bay leaf, marigold, geranium, and jasmine carry the middle into warm, herbal floral territory that keeps the composition interesting rather than one dimensional throughout the entire wear. Tobacco, patchouli, sandalwood, Virginia cedar, and musk close the base in dense, smoky richness that finally earns the fragrance its confident name by the very end. This fruity woody Eau De Toilette suits evening wear and cooler months especially well, sophisticated rather than harsh about its own tobacco heavy dry down. Remy Latour built something honestly layered here, bright at first and considerably darker by the finish.
