Same We dealt with them in Napier.I Would never advise anyone togo with Perpetual Guardian Trust. Bad communication . Did as little as possible and just did alot of money grabbing .
People should also be aware that is now part owned offshore, by a man called Barnes who is also a shareholder in pay sauce.
Our father would have never stayed with them if he had known .

Communication with Estate Manager Lacking

I was a beneficiary of my father's will managed by Perpetual Guardian Christchurch (Trustee Executors in 2022). Eventually I received my share of the estate, but it took 2.5 years.
There was some level of compliance and communication with the estate manager, however there were some difficulties with the other beneficiary, and I feel these were used to justify not promptly dealing with the procedure. I sent numerous emails to the estate manager and not all of those were answered. Their fee was $300NZD an hour plus GST and amounted to $8000.

So I would be careful about employing them to execute a will. If you can do it within your family, that may save time and money.
