On absolute minimum apprenticeship wage of £5 an hour. No learning or training. Managers forget you are there and do not know what to do with you, end up putting you on random jobs most often LABOURING. Did not sign up for a labouring apprenticeship. They failed to follow the learning programme and so was unable to tick off any sections off the learning and experience list, which would have resulted in me having to be an apprentice on the £5 wage for yet another year! You can see how this all benefits them and wastes your life. Wasted two years of my life. No dedicated tradesmen to learn from, get passed around most often learning from labourers and painting and decorating. This meant they were completely ignorant of my experience and capabilities and would always assume I'm fresh from high school and don't know what a saw is. Expect you to have expensive tools which is completely impossible considering the low wage and they do not compensate you for any travel/food/equipment expenses. Was running into loss at many points. Worst time of my life, for a similar experience try slave labour.
