My daughter treated to me this evening to our Favourite Spicy Green Vegan Pho (House~Special) in Canterbury, must say that Saturday night dinners here lately have been top notch, mmm flavoursome Broth! And Fresh Bean sprouts, Leafs & Chilli 🌶. Perfect tonight, good portion of broth too. Happy! Keep it up.
I ordered food from Pho
I ordered food from Pho, and the chicken wings were so salty it made them inedible. I complained to Deliver and they did nothing. I emailed head office and I never got a response.
I always go to Pho
I always go to Pho.
I went to Pho the first time in August 2023, when travelling to Edinburgh. Since then I have been back there multiple times. I have brough my friends there and have not have a single bad experience.
I 100% recommend Pho. Great food and the Edinburgh store has lovely servers as well.
The staff were all on their phones
The staff were all on their phones. We were both trying to get their attention to pay the bill for a long time. Two members rushed passed us with us waving and loudly asking for the bill. My friend reached her hand out for his arm to get his attention, her hand got caught on his arm and pulled, he was shocked, she calmly asked for the bill. I then heard him complaining "she grabbed me!". No she didn't, and he was being a drama queen. He then just chucked the pay machine on the table. They were so rude, the food was abysmal and will never eat there again. Avoid!
Pho - The sad decline of a once greater experience
Pho has been one of my favourite restaurants but our recent visit to Pho Portsmouth was extremely disappointing topped off by the fact that this franchise now automatically adds a 10-12% service charge to your bill and you can't remove it. We had to get the duty manager to make the change. It's deceitful!
Gaby was excellent with her service…
Gaby was excellent with her service even went out her way to provide us two sauces when we was eligible for only one
I recently tried the Crab Noodle Soup…
I recently tried the Crab Noodle Soup and Spicy Chicken Noodle Soup from Pho Vietnamese in the Westfield Stratford City food court, and I regret the experience.
The broths were bland and flavorless—no richness or depth you’d expect from Vietnamese street food. I added seasoning and even fish sauce to try and improve the taste, but it still resembled plain hot water with artificial flavoring thrown in. It honestly felt like they just boiled water and added some powdered mix.
For a food court spot claiming to serve Vietnamese street food, this was a letdown. Street food is supposed to be packed with bold, vibrant flavors, but this tasted like nothing close to that. I wouldn’t recommend wasting your money here.

Truly awful
Truly awful
I have been a regular at Pho Oxford for about 7 years now. If you had asked me three months ago I would have not recommended them highly enough. We usually eat at this restaurant 8-10 times a year for both business entertaining and personal meals out.
The last three visits have been very poor. Last night was possibly the worst meal out I have had in about a decade.
We waited 20 minutes to order.
We then waited 20 minuted for drinks.
We then waited another 30 minutes for food.
The entire main course service took 20 minutes to deliver to table.
One was cold and had to be replaced.
Others were lukewarm.
By the time the final main arrived all the other guests had completely finished theirs.
We watched a waiter take an order from table to table asking guests if this was their order.
Another guest had to go to the counter to get someone to come and take their order because staff were too busy chatting with each other.
We heard another two tables near us ask if other members of their party had cold food.
We complained to the manager only to get excuse after excuse (broken order printer, trainee staff, poor attention to details). The manager didn't really listen but just threw excuse after excuse at us.
The Manager removed one of the mains, took 15% off the bill and removed the service charge. We still paid over £90 for a party of 4 plus a baby.
We should not have been changed a penny.
Honestly, I am totally gutted as I used to love this place.
Highly recommended - Bristol Pho
We’re fortunate in Bristol to be spoilt with a multitude of restaurants to chose from, offering an incredible range of dishes from across the globe, we selected Pho, to celebrate a dear friend’s birthday, we couldn’t have chosen better.
Loveliest team particularly our server, Pascal, who offered excellent service throughout the evening and great recommendations, on the starters, main dishes & cocktails. The food was excellent, cocktails divine, all 12 of us were absolutely delighted with our choices.
We’re a fairly well travelled group, particularly throughout Asia, sampling the incredible cuisine along the way, we would have no qualms in recommending Pho Bristol.
Thank you for a wonderful evening, we’ll definitely be back.
Pho Stratford inedible AVOID
Pho Stratford
The least authentic food you could experience, the Bun is served hot and bean sprouts are stir fried - after raising this with the restaurant they have confirmed this to be correct. I was expecting a noodle salad, not hot noodles, they were so hot the cold dressing became warmed and lettuce also sweated. Very disappointing and overly priced. Perhaps Pho Cafe management team should be clearer on the dishes.
Inedible

Terrible pho
Terrible pho. Don’t steal it from Vietnam and make it bad.
This is the literally the worst…
This is the literally the worst resturant I've ever visited, I have found a hair folicle and the manager told me it fell of my head ... so drainged bag of litter
Disgusting business with no morals
I came and tried 2 noodle soups and returned both cause they were way too salty and nothing like the dishes I had in Vietnam, not authentic. They also run by white British who trying to steal the word "Pho" by trademarked it and sue other Vietnamese restaurants which has the word "pho" in their business' names. I wonder if they have any morals doing business. And all of their employees should get another workplace with more moral than this. I can see how they really are through this. Disgusting business runners!
The Pho was not authentic what so ever
The Pho was not authentic what so ever. It was bland, watered down and also the overall experience was sub par. I’ce recently learnt that the owners have trademarked the Vietnamese word Pho and like a colonialist now taking over words, culture and concepts the Pho tasted of disgust.
Healthy and interesting food!
Went to Pho in Brighton and found lovely friendly staff with interesting, colourful and healthy menu options. Very good! The flower teas are beautiful to watch as they unfold!

I enjoy my Pho take aways from the Canterbury branch! There has been a couple of times where the quality hasn’t been at its best but it’s still been edible and there have been other times which have reminded me of the quality. I love the portion sizes and the peanut sauce is incredible. I love how light the flavours are and how light it is on the tummy too but most importantly I love that there are gluten free vegan options, which is hard to get as a combination, so thank you for providing this Pho! This is my favourite take-away at the moment!
The best pho ever
I've been trying to find the best pho around the world. And after 4 years I've finally found it here in London. Briskette pho it's a checking taste explosion! Love it so much!
Beware of Phone THEFT at Pho Islington!!!!
On Friday, September 6th, around 2:00 PM, I visited the Pho Café in Islington for the first time. Unfortunately, this visit turned into a deeply traumatising experience. Moments after my food had been served, a typically East European man (who looked like a Romanian gypsy, you know, the ones who beg and leave things on the tube) – tall, big, broad-shouldered, round-faced – approached me. He was uncomfortably too close and silently placed a piece of paper with writing on my iPhone beside me on the table (which I was unaware of then). His demeanour immediately made me uneasy. He didn’t speak, but evil stared at me with an unsettling, almost predatory gaze. I politely told him I had no cash and asked if he could leave. The situation felt wrong from the start. His paper even touched my food, further adding to the discomfort.
Immediately after this man left, I realised my iPhone 15 Pro Max was missing. The theif had used the paper as a distraction tactic to steal it. I was in a state of shock and panic, searching for him, but he had disappeared without a trace. The feeling of violation was profound, and even now, I feel uneasy about eating out at restaurants.
This incident highlights a serious lack of security and customer care at Pho Café. Despite this apparently being a known issue in the area, the staff failed to warn me or other customers of the potential for phone theft. The absence of proactive measures or warnings is a serious concern and needs to be addressed immediately. Had I been made aware of the risks, I would have been more cautious and put my phone away. Instead, I was left vulnerable.
It is deeply troubling that the restaurant prioritises avoiding negative publicity over the safety of its customers. The absence of proactive measures or warnings is telling. I have decided never to return to Pho Café, and I strongly advise others to exercise extreme caution if they choose to visit. This restaurant is not a safe environment, and dining there means risking your meal and your valuable personal belongings.
