Been using for about 4 months & my skin has never been this dry

Been using for about 4 months. Felt drying & tight at first but I persevered because they said it can feel tight on the skin as a barrier but its keeping the moisture in.
Well in my experience thats simply not the case.
My skin has never been so dry!
My previous skin care was very basic - pure jojoba oil & another completely natural product, which were fine but I felt not enough. So I tried these products, suckered in by the ‘science’
My skin has even developed a crepeness that I have NEVER had! Deff not moisturising!
Also tried 2 diff fibre products and I noticed zero difference - except to say Im left feeling diddled by another company making big claims using ‘science’ to back it up.
I should have twigged when one of the ads compared 2 menopausal sisters who supposedly had the same everything … even the exact same sun exposure over their life time. Seriously, how was that measured over a 50 year period.
Don’t waste your money, or be fooled by the ‘science’.
BTW, the moisturiser is now relegated to my body until I use it up.

Good for sensitive skin.

I have very sensitive skin and found the moisturiser excellent. I just find ordering hard too many pop ups. But excellent product.

Two out of three products are excellent

I have three products from Phycohealth.
The cleanser and moisturiser in talk, aqua pump bottles are very effective; particularly the moisturiser which is the best I’ve ever used. I’m 72 and so of course have tried many in 50 years.
The shield day moisturiser with 50SPF is not good for me. It leaves a white film even when rubbed into the face and it stings my eyes if I rub them.

I wonder how others find the shield day moisturiser.

Seems too heavy for a face cream

While I don’t doubt the products work well for some people being 68 I had high expectations after reading all the info from phycohealth about the nourish face cream and its benefits on ageing skin. I have been using it for days now and feels like I’m putting a thick barrier or body cream on my face, sadly it makes my face sweat constantly and does not feel light or nourishing, I’m disappointed as my skin is sensitive and ageing. I think there should be a bit more explanation around whether it’s a body cream for your face as I wouldn’t generally put a heavy cream on my face. Happy for any info that might assist.

Excellent product

I have used these products for years especially the Cleanser, Nourish, Soothe and Purify and love them.
I would consider my skin to be very sensitive and have tried many very expensive brands over the years and found many of them irritating, causing redness and discomfort but never found this with Phycohealth products.
Reading some of the reviews I do wonder if they are actually using Phycohealth products especially the comments about the scent. For me the products have a very mild scent and certainly not noticeable.
I love the science and seaweed basis of these products.

Nourish, Seafibre-3, and food products

I am a longtime customer of Phycohealth food products, and I am very happy with the quality.

Last year, I started using the Nourish cream as a body and hand moisturiser. It is the most moisturising and aesthetically elegant cream that I have encountered, and it has been helpful for eczema.

The Seafibre-3 capsules have been beneficial for my gut health.

I am also very happy with the customer service.

Beware

Beware. I purchased the seaweed cleanser, moisturiser and soothe only to be chemically burned around my face. I have sensitive skin but this was like nothing I've experienced, to this severity. I had to go and get advice from a pharmacist as it turned into actual blisters.
They only offer 50% refund if I paid to return items. No apology.
Think I've wasted enough money already.

Spots. No improvement.

This product gives me spots so I will have to start using it on my body and not my face. I have seen no improvement in my skin after using it for more than a month.

Though I didn’t order automatic replenishments, I received a second $90+ bottle four weeks after receiving the first. I now have two very expensive bottles of moisturiser.

Found it very drying.

Have been using the moisturiser for around 3 mths. My personal experience is that it dried my skin terribly. I use a good quality cleanser and applied the moisturiser everyday, twice a day (more if I'd showered or putting on make up). With or without make-up, it came no where near the advertised expectation. An expensive experiment. Its supposed to be good for mature skin (I'm 69). To be fair, I've started using a different moisturiser for comparison and now the Phycohealth will be in the bin.

Tiny jar for the price

Tiny jar for the price. Feels, smells and behaves just like ordinary zinc cream. Hard to spread on skin and hard to rub in looks whitish if you dont. Also difficult to put foundation over it. I wouldnt recommend evwr using the shield day cream. I think its more zinc than anything. Says list of ingredients is on carton but there was no carton just the container which was only 3/4 full anyway. A fail as far as im concerned.

Best moisturiser I've used

I use Phycohealth Phylorunic Nourish moisturiser every day on my whole body. This is the best moisturiser I have used and I'm only willing to use it now. I'm going to gift it to my mother and sister.

Thankyou to everyone who wrote a review! I’m so relieved, you saved me by minutes of buying 4 of these products! It looked authentic and from an Australian scientist too! But I just had a distinct feeling to check Trustpilot first after already filling in my details to pay! I quickly cancelled all my info! I’m so relieved! Thanks again!

Hi Michelle — we’re sorry you’ve had a negative impression. Calling a business a “scam” is a serious claim, and we’d like to understand what happened.

do not reccomend

The product has a greasy feel and is very highly perfumed. I wouldn't generally say my skin is sensitive, but this product makes my skin burn. Very dissapointing ....and expensive.

Hi Lil — thank you for sharing your experience.
What you’ve described is consistent with how different formulations can interact with sensitive skin barriers, rather than an issue with the Phyaluronic® ingredient itself.
For customers who are reactive to essential oils or fragrance components, we’ve developed alternative options such as Light Day Cream and BiomeBalance Serum, which contain no essential oils and are designed specifically for barrier-sensitive skin.
We’d be very happy to help you switch to a formulation that’s better suited to your skin. Please contact us at support@phycohealth.com, and our team will assist with an exchange or next steps.
Skin responses are individual, which is why we focus on matching formulations to skin type and barrier state — and we appreciate you helping surface that distinction.

Skin break out

I got the day moisturizer and had high hopes but after using it for just a week I've developed a fine, bumpy rash on my cheeks, forehead and jawline. It's the only thing that's changed in my routine so has to be this. The smell bothers me too - sickly sweet. 😞

Hello Kate... what you are describing is a fully legitimate reaction... one we call irritant folliculitis... for real. Plase have a read of this in the article here, and reach out if you would like a product exchange.

Made me break out

Made me break out, really badly. I’m 58 had acne as a teen, sometimes during my cycle and during menopause - very hormone sensitive. The cleanser and moisturiser brought out some awful acne, which I haven’t had for years. I stopped using it and within about 10 days, the acne healed. I needed to be sure it was this product, so started using again..and up they came again! I don’t know what is in it but it doesn’t like my skin!

Thank you for taking the time to describe this so clearly — and we’re genuinely sorry this was your experience.
What you’re describing (delayed onset, resolution on stopping, and recurrence on re-challenge) is consistent with how hormone-sensitive or barrier-reactive skin can respond to certain formulations, even when acne hasn’t been present for many years.

In some skin states, this can present as an acne-like flare that is driven by irritation or follicular response, rather than classic acne. It doesn’t mean the skin is “dirty” or congested — it means the formulation wasn’t the right match for your current skin biology.

We appreciate you sharing this, as it highlights why we now offer multiple cleanser and moisturiser options designed for different barrier and hormone sensitivities. If you’d like, our team would be very happy to help you switch to a gentler alternative or discuss next steps — please reach out to support@phycohealth.com.

If you’re interested in understanding why some skin types react differently to certain formulations, we’ve published an educational article on our site that explores this type of response and how to distinguish it from classic acne.

Thank you again for the thoughtful feedback — experiences like this genuinely help us guide others more accurately.

Seems very dodgy

Seems very dodgy. Smells like cheap hotel moisturiser.

I only ordered one but it signed me up for subscription and it was super hard to work out how to cancel.

DO NOT BUY SKIN CARE PRODUCTS

Purchased 3 expensive skin care products - Shield Day Cream, Biomebalance Phyaluronic serum & Biomebalance renew night cream - and the products are unusable. The serum makes my skin taut and uncomfortable, day cream doesn’t go into the skin and instead sits on it and leaves a white mask which then dries and flakes off. It is not possible to use the products as described. They do not work as skin care. The night cream has odd liquid consistency and isn’t nourishing on the skin, and will still be slick on my face in the morning so i need to wash it off.

VERY DISAPPOINTING FOR EXPENSIVE PRODUCTS.

The set cost me $192 and are completely unusable.

I have repeatedly contacted the company and they are simply ignoring the messages.

DO NOT BUY.

Thank you for taking the time to share this — we’re genuinely sorry that this was your experience.

To address the most important point first: we do not ignore customer enquiries and work hard with a dedicated team. However we have had a busy growth year and cannot guarantee that your outreach has been missed somehow. If messages have gone unanswered, that’s not acceptable to us and we’d like to resolve that immediately.
Please email support@phycohealth.com with your order number (or the name/email used at checkout), as we’re unable to identify customer records from Trustpilot reviews alone.

Regarding the products themselves: the sensations you describe (tautness from the serum, visible residue from the day cream, and separation in the night cream) can occur when high-charge, barrier-active formulations are applied in a way that doesn’t suit a particular skin state or routine. These products are not designed to behave like silicone-based or occlusive conventional skincare, and they can feel very different depending on hydration level, application amount, and layering. That said, they should never feel unusable, and when they do, it means the match was not right. They are indeed 3 of our most popukar formulations.
We regularly assist customers in adjusting routine, application method, or switching to a better-suited formulation, and we also offer refunds or exchanges where appropriate. We’d genuinely like the opportunity to do that for you.
Please contact us directly so we can locate your order and resolve this properly.
