Not as good as usual

I usually love this restaurant, the food is usually great and the service however we booked a table of six last week for a birthday and I was very disappointed. We all had the pre theatre menu which is normally lovely however the pate was dry and just crumbled when you cut through it and the toast was definitely not the same . The chicken Milanese was also not as good as before . Two of our group had not been before and they thought it was nothing special after I had raved about it . My daughter got the wrong meal but to be honest didn’t want to complain so that was maybe our fault . It’s a shame as I have been several times and never found it to be like this . Got to say one member of the party did love their whole meal maybe it was just what we picked although I generally pick roughly the same things. I felt it had gone downhill a bit which is a shame when it’s a special occasion but will give it another go

Awful food and treatment.

Special birthday dinner. Five of us ordered a starter and a main. The starters were fine. The mains arrived and we started to eat. One lady ordered pasta no meat so when she realised there was meat in hers we called the waiter over. Another friend said she didn't have what she ordered either. The food was taken away. The waiter returned and said they had mixed up their plates. A few minutes later the same plate of food was put down in front of my other friend. They expected her to eat food someone else had started to eat! Shocked we sent it back. We should have left at this point. My lasagna was a bit burnt, dry and stuck to the plate. A third waiter came over clearly irritated with us shaking his head and muttering. We weren't asked if we wanted a drink order instead we had to ask them twice. After we had coffee we were rudely told they were closing and we needed to leave. They ruined our evening and rushed us out the door.
This used to be a great restaurant so I'm very disappointed.

Wow just wow!

Wow just wow!! Celebrated my mums birthday here yesterday and we were blown away by how friendly and attentive staff were from start to finish from our arrival until we left! Food was delicious 110% excellent quality for flavour and presentation! Restaurant was extremely clean to a 5 star standard! Would most definitely visit again, plus not an empty table extremely busy but did not effect how each table was served as everyone was being served by professional and helpful staff! Thank you Piccolo Mondo for a wonderful day, we will be back!

Poorest service ever and moist food

Poorest service ever. Even the server agreed how rude service this restaurant wants to offer to its customers. He told us that its the boss, who is a woman, that are destroying it all because of her poor poor service she wants to offer.
We ordered pizza and large pepsi cola. Both drinks came without nearly any gas. Like only syrup. The servant told us they discovered problems with the pipeline and the gas lately. A servant came in again with a fanta filled in a glass, to the exact same line as the one i already tasted very bad. It tasted again only of syrup without gas.

In the end the idiot of a boss rejected the manager to take out the 2 soft drinks from the bill, even though the pibeline problems they knew about.

Anyway the pizza we got was full of too much chease. It wasn't sliced and it was very wet/moist and soft in the middle, like it was dipped in a bathtube full of water and floading chease...

Never go there!...
-Poor service!
-Hell idiot of a Lady restaurant manager without understanding the concept of good service to the customers!
-Moist food without any taste or love

Compaired to the bad trustpilot reviews they already have, it really seems like they dont want to change the way they behave to the customers.
