Fantastic website with a lot of useful tools and intuitive UI. The pixel art icons add a nice touch to the tools and can even be customized (albeit some cosmetic options are a bit bugged). There’re tools for tracing images, dithering, creating palettes and custom fonts, as well as common standard tools you may find in most other drawing programs.
Exporting is pretty easy too and you can even upscale your pixel art without getting any mixels. I wouldn’t trust their auto save feature since it doesn’t always save your current drawing, but there’s luckily an option to save your images as an “pixil” locally to your computer which you can reupload at a later time.
You can even animate with pixilart, albeit the process might feel a bit clunky at the start. You can export animations as gifs, but be prepared that the colors will shift and look different after exporting (I’d recommend making a sprite sheet instead or trying to download every frame individually for better quality).
Overall a great website with useful tools and a lot of charm, perfect for making pixel art of all kinds.
Subscription issue was confusing and ambiguous to me. I decided to keep looking for a more design-oriented company.
This is such an AMAZING social site! I love the drawing software, the social media aspect and the ability to show my art to the world! If I could I would give this 100 stars!
What a horrible company. I signed up to save my art, made a couple pieces and the next day they suspended my account for over 5 years with no reason given. I reached out to their support but they were no help at all, they didn't even reply to me. Awful company.
I SPENT SO MUCH TIME ON SOME PIXELART AND THEN PIXILART.COM MADE IT INTO A GIF SO I DELETED THE FILE THEY GAVE ME, BUT I NEVER FOUND MY ART AGAIN SO I COULD NEVER FIX MY FRICKING ART (i havent logged in but still fix this problem, cus thats 2 hours of my life wasted on trying to fix my alignment issue then it DISAPPEARS)
During exportation of a pixil art gif it gave me a heavily discolored version everything is just wrong, then it proceeded to delete 3 months of work right in my face and there is no way to recover it. Auto save is bugged, exporation is bugged, gifs are completely wrong.
Decent website, good for drawing but moderation could definitely be better, I love to use it for my art and interacting with others
You can make friends, draw and win things! This is a perfect app, tysm Bryan
The shopping marketplace sells great quality items, and the wait time is so short! besides the ads 100% recommend
I think they really need to improve on their moderation style. I have noticed accounts always getting suspended for doing nothing wrong, and they never really specify for what it was (Like digital art). They only tell you that it was from their TOS or something. Horrible website, and I won't use it again.
Very easy to give up making pixel art, navigation and selection is easy and efficent
It's a good platform for drawing but it can get quite laggy like when it updates it takes so long to load and it can get very annoying.
it very good. like community. love art. I like to see bases and color them. very fun. I pretend to make very good pictures. Lying is fun. User came up to me and said: "marry me" and I said yes. He also asked for address, so I gave them my password.
i use this site to draw sprites for games i develop, it is a very good site to draw pixel art, you can even set keybinds for tools, which in my opinion is pretty good, there are too many things about this amazing site to list, but the best part is it is a website, you would think this would be a program or something but its not, it is a full on website, you can even make gifs, you can make custom gifs on a website, 10/10 definetley would reccomend for any sprite makers
