Bad support / old and noisy product

Product is slow, noisy and old design
Customer support doensnt answer for days and when they answer, they don’t answer to the question and change things in the system without asking, f..ing up the setup (resulting in system overshooting and being out of control).
If you want quick help you need to pay for the hotline!
Very very disappointing

The zone control system is easy and straight forward.
The measurement curves of boiler gives you enough insight to optimize the heating system.

Not satisfied, but no refund!

The product is outdated, has poor graphical design, and only connects to my router Wifi when I put the box right next to it. I tried to return it, but SlimmeDingen/Plugwise refused because I filled out my company name (I am a freelancer) on the ordering form.

In response to the Plugwise reply below: There are many reasons a buyer can be dissatisfied and it is outrageous that a reseller (SlimmeDingen) doesn't respect that and refuses refunds! I'd only be happy if Plugwise can persuade SlimmeDingen to take back my purchase.

Local company making great products

Local company making great products. I use Home Assistant, and to see a company take local home control as a first priority is so nice. Been using the Adam for about a year now in between my boiler and regular cheap thermostat to add remote control and scheduling, works perfectly. Only good things to say about them

plugwise system helpdesk

The plugwise system was installed in my house by a contractor who decided to disappear and leave me on dry ground with a non-functioning system.
I contacted the plugwise helpdesk and they were able to fix the problems and get the system to work.
I am going to buy soon another set of the system for another property.

Number of parts broken above acceptable level.

Got an Adam with 9 Tom thermostats. On the day of the installation I've noticed one of the thermostats broken and one being suspicious. Two days later I've discovered another two thermostats broken. And three days later there was a failure in Adam. So, five components out of ten ordered has failed during the first week.
After some communication with support I've returned everything and got the full refund.

Hi Peter, thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately were not a company who can give advise on which boiler you should buy to match our system. As my colleague mentioned, every boiler with OT should be good. Ofcourse there are a few brands we're not familiar with like the ones you send us in the email. It'll be best if you reach out to an installer of boilers to get advise as we are not experts in this field. Hopefully you can get advise from a company who is specialized in this field.

Unuseful

Customer support was polite, but had insufficient knowledge on how the Plugwise product should function, did not search for solutions, and had no knowledge about the Plugwise product portfolio. I had to reverse engineer Adam HA and find the solution myself after days of Googling and experimenting with custom developed electric circuit.

After initial creation of a call by the service desk it took a long time to respond for the first time. The overall time taken to resolve problems with my Smile P1 took 5 months. Change of the device 5 times. But in the end I have a working situation.

Works well for p1 electric meter

Works well for p1 electric meter. Not obvious from the instructions how to connect via WiFi. Connected via Ethernet cable successfully. Would like to be able to download the data in excel or csv form. Will be even better when a district heat meter can be added at a reasonable cost.
