Flintstones Bank
I been with PNC Bank for 12 years I had enough dealing with them. If you buy something over the weekend the charges won't go thru until Monday or Tuesday, which creates the illusion of having more money in the bank. If I have to count a ledger every time to check my true Balance then I why am I currently with this atrocious bank. When the banks can't count I will find one that can count.
Jasmine at the Sasabaw Branch in Clarkston!
My husband and I went to open an account today at the Clarkston Bank on Sashabaw with Jasmine Newsom! She was knowledgeable and personable and we enjoyed working with her so much! . We are so sorry to hear she will not be working at the branch near us as of next month. We just wanted to say what a joy it was to open an account with a friendly, caring bank person!😀
FirstBank transitioned to PNC Bank
FirstBank transitioned to PNC Bank. Their ACH system and treasury management department is a complete nightmare. I have been working on setting this up for a week with no resolution. While the employees ae professional when you call, no one can help. I even visited a branch and they did not have any basic knowledge of the treasury management system. To say this has been frustrating is an understatement. And I still don’t have a resolution.
AVOID THIS BANK
AVOID THIS BANK! I will start this off by saying I don’t even want to give this bank 1 star. This has been the worst financial institution I have ever been with. For example, I have had a few times where I deposited a check of over 10k that I needed asap! There was always an issue where it was sent back to me or an issue. This new reason I just deposited a 10k check because I am financially struggling as I just got divorced and am a mother of 3 kids! who is about to be evicted, (because life is expensive and bills never stop) I deposited the first check and they put a hold on it for days then returned it and even had my dads account frozen ( dad is the one who wrote me the check) my dad got it squared away and physically drove me a new check yesterday and I walked in and deposited a new check and thought everything would be fine! But NO it’s not. There is a new hold now on the account which is a joke because day name on check, same amount, dad even called to verify and it is still an issue. If you can I would stay far far away from this bank. Half of the customer service on the phone is awful. Half the employees don’t know what the hell to do. Save yourself a headache and go with another bank. I sat on hold for over a hour this morning! I am now in the office and have been on hold for over 30 mins.

Megan Selbe is the nicest
Megan Selbe is the nicest, most professional person I have known. I am so happy for her promotion. She has been outstanding for all the years I have had the privilege of knowing her. Those branch is in very good hands with her in charge.
Worst bank experience we have ever had…
Worst bank experience we have ever had - used first bank and went through the merge and everthing has been an absolute mess. Their transfers take DAYS and when you pay the line of credit it takes DAYS and their online system is so antiquated. It has significantly disrupted our business and I would absolutely never voluntarily use them as a bank.
Customer Complaint - PNC Hanover PA Branch (Eisenhower Blvd)
I have visited the same branch once a week for over three years. Several of the tellers know me by first name. My purpose weekly is to cash a personal check. I visited the Hanover PA branch on Eisenhower Avenue today as usual. This time, I encountered a teller who I have never seen. I presented my personal check and my drivers license and stated that I wished to cash the check. The teller asked if I have a debit card. I said no. She then asked if I have an ATM card to which I replied no. She then went into a speech on how she could quickly open a debit card. Again, I politely told her that I did not want one. Then, she asked if I had another form of id. I told her I had nothing additional with me. Well, she said, you are going to need a debit card or ATM card in the future to cash a check. This upset me greatly. I then told her that I come in there every week and have NEVER been asked to provide additional id - especially a debit card. I also told her that if that would be the policy, I'll find another bank to deal with. She said the "debit card" is for my own protection. Ok, I worked as a Banking Executive for 8 years...I know what's really going on here. Suggestive selling is sometimes annoying, but this teller was overbearing and offensive in her push to force me into a debit card. A debit card which has no photo provides me with no protection -especially in lieu of the fact that I have both savings and checking accounts at PNC bank, the teller standing next to her knows me by first name as I visit weekly and I had already presented my goverment issued ID. I really hope not to experience this again. If I do, I will close my PNC accounts and go elsewhere but not until I also report this practice to the CFPB or PNC's bank regulator via the FFIEC Consumer Help Center.
Despise coming to this bank every week…
Despise coming to this bank every week for work. I have literally been sitting in this drive-thru for 25 minutes and it happens on a pretty regular basis that I'm in the line for 15 minutes before I even get helped. I would never bring my personal banking business here or recommend this place to anyone
This bank is TERRIBLE
This bank is TERRIBLE! Somehow Zelle no longer works and they can't fix it. Now I can't transfer money into savings from my checking account because they can't find my accounts. I own a rental business and my employee can't make a rent deposit if I'm sick or traveling. I have to show id to make a deposit then have to make a trip back because they didn't give my license back. I'm done! I'm down to one book of checks and then I'm switching. Service is slow. It's a mess. 20 years ago it was known in the mortgage industry as Probably Not Closing. The staff is great but the bank SUCKS.

PNC blames the victim
After I was the victim of an attempted scam, PNC blamed the victim and closed my company's account. I deposited a check which turned out to be fraudulent. Initially, the PNC fraud department called me for more information, and I explained what happened. The agent thanked me for the information and assured me that my account would be restored. Then a couple of days later, with no further warning, PNC closed the account. If PNC still had doubts, I could have provided emails and a physical envelope from the scammer, but PNC didn't even ask for this information. My business had been using PNC for many years, with no bad checks or any other prior security issues. This is not a good way to treat a loyal customer.
Work hard for my paycheck. You charge…
Work hard for my paycheck. You charge over $5 to deposit my hard earned money immediately. I have to wait 2 more days for my hard earned pay to deposit it for free. Today the app is temporarily not working so I can't check acct. First Bank didn't charge me to put money in their bank! Grrr
This is the worst bank I have ever had!
This is the worst bank I have ever had to do business with. I previously thought that award went to Wells Fargo. I had an awesome bank in Colorado, the best bank I had ever had. It was First Bank. PNC probably chose to buy it because it had so many high ratings and so many loyal customers! Well, they promised that the great service would remain the same, keep the employees giving the great service, that all of our automatic payments would continue, etc, etc. It was a bunch of lies!
Just a few of the time consuming and frustrating things that have happened to me in the transition:
* They said they would change over on June 22, so to set up accounts ahead, etc. I took this seriously and did so on May 12. Apparently that was a totally worthless attempt as there was no record of it.
* They lost a $2000 deposit I made
* I can no longer make a payment on my credit card and have it immediately available as I could with First Bank. Twice in grocery stores I have had to abandon my purchases and be embarrassed. I am 80. This has never happened to me before!
* They paid my auto pay electric bills, etc, but did Not pay my automatic Mortgage payment ! So I got a late fee! The Mortgage bank had no record anywhere of PNC notifying them they are now the Bank the payment will come from!
* It took an hour and 8 minutes to get something approved that used to take 2-5 minutes!
* They would not let me make a payment from my own Checking account with them to my credit card with them over the phone without me knowing the new routing number! I was 30 miles from home with no way to find out what that was! I had to escalate it to management to get it done!
* etc, this is just irritating me again - all of these except the first one about opening the account on May 12 have happened in the last 10 days. So I am not going to continue!
The worst bank
The worst bank. The transition from 1st bank was awful. Left me stranded with out money nor e transfer. 30 days to charge back fraud? Now customer service ends at 5 pm? Their telecoms aren't even ai. Why is my card declining when I have 3 million in my account?

I had an outstanding experience working with Abdul at PNC Bank. He helped me open my account and took the time to explain everything clearly and thoroughly. He made the entire process easy and stress-free.
Abdul was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, patient, and kind. He answered all of my questions with care and never made me feel rushed. His excellent customer service and attention to detail made a great impression on me.
It’s rare to receive such outstanding service. Abdul truly went above and beyond, and I sincerely appreciate all of his help. I highly recommend asking for Abdul if you visit PNC Bank. Thank you for providing such an excellent customer experience!
As a contractor this bank collected on…
As a contractor this bank collected on a check that one of my customers wrote to me and the refused to release the money to me. They had me get my customer print thier proof that pnc took the money and bring it into branch before they would deposit the funds into my account. I have sent several of my customers to pnc and all have been made aware of this. Now myself and several of my customers will be banking elsewhere. These are not standard banking practices. They also back dated the amount on my statement to make it look like they put the funds in my account the day of the check deposit when in reality they held the money for 2 days. Wanna be stolen from go here, if not go somewhere else.
