My name is Robert Bondi and I have been in the pool and snooker repair trade for 10 years. I bring with me a wealth of previous experience in the amusement machine industry as a service technician, pool and air hockey table restorer and fitter. Having trained under one of the most established pool and snooker restorers then working for one of the biggest pool table and amusement game suppliers in the UK, I felt ready to establish my own business. Refurbishment of our community pool table at Emmaus Lambeth, homelessness charity in South East London
Recently we were very fortunate to have our community pool table refurbished by The Pool Guy. He was very professional and always had time for questions. He explained everything that needed doing in detail. Above all, he carried out a superb job which has given our table a whole new lease of life, as it was a very tired aging and damaged table, but it was still loved and used regularly. Now not only looks the part but plays so well. Along with this, he was kind enough to donate us a brand new set of balls and a box of chalk. Also it's worth adding that he was extremely respectful towards the current Covid-19 rules.
On behalf of all of us current Companions, and I'm sure future companions as well, thank you from everyone at Emmaus Lambeth!

Table move
I needed to move my pool table by a few feet from its location. I contacted Robert who was very accommodating and could do the job that day, at a cost I was happy with. Robert was punctual, friendly, very professional with his communication and workmanship and even gave me some free accessories as well as advice on the cloth. Highly recommended and will definitely use his services again whenever necessary.

Brilliant service
Brilliant service, great value. Table is now looking back to new with replacement pockets, rubbers and cloth. We had a leak the night after and the table got drained with waste water but with some form of resin on the cloth there were no marks. Top service, too man

Had my snooker table recovered and the pocket leathers redone. What a mess. He cut the pocket leathers all wrong so one side is much smaller than the other. Looks worse than it sounds. He used a drill to re screw the side panels on and he’s ruined the side panels where he must have slipped. He’s ruined one of the runners. Unbelievable. Very disappointed

Robert is a very skilful and a pleasant man. He came on time, he changed the cloth on my 9 ft American pool table. He did a cracking job for reasonable price.. I will of course use his services in the future and recommend it anyone.
