Worst customer service in Finland

Worst customer service in Finland. They don't close as marked at 6pm they effectively close at 5:30pm, after that they keep you on hold until 6 pm and then cancel your call.
The bills receive by Posti sometimes come and sometimes don´t.

I am shipping TO Finland FROM The Netherlands. My parcel seems to be lost in customs, it has been lost since may 22. I cannot log into OmaPosti from abroad, because I do not have any of the necessary identification options. I cannot call, because the phone menu option 'For English press 3' DOES NOT WORK. There is no international customer service chat. I don't know what to do, it's driving me crazy. It's an insured parcel that is worth a lot of money.

I am very disappointed with this…

I am very disappointed with this delivery experience.

I stayed home waiting for the package, and the company had both the correct door code and my phone number. Despite this, the delivery was marked as unsuccessful (“ei onnistunut”) without any proper delivery attempt or contact.

I also tried to contact customer service, but after waiting on the phone for over 20 minutes, I had to give up. There seems to be no proper support channel except a chatbot.

This level of service is extremely rubbish.

Posti has gotten much better over the…

Posti has gotten much better over the last few years. As far as I remember, I’ve had 0 issues with them for the past 2 years.

The app could still do with some work as it is often very confusing to see what the package is actually doing.

Avoid Posti

1. They OFTEN do not deliver to the pick up point that I selected (paid)
2. Their customer service can never be reached (phone and online chat). I had to personally go to Posti to talk to a human, but unfortunately today's person was rude and did not understand English well.
3. Package was stuck in their hands for way too long, longer than what they promised. No update whatsoever.

Severely degraded service quality of an essential postal service - quite dumb and shameful

1. Oma Posti chat just keeps you waiting for an agent and an agent never turns up. A few times, I have been waiting for over 2 hours and still no response. The chat has also removed queue or timestamp indicators, which to me seems a steps backwards and almost deliberate to not give people info about service congestion and quality.
2. Posti keeps changing how parcels/mail are going to be delivered. Sometimes a mail might initially indicate as mailbox delivery in your OmaPosti, but then will change to a few collection points during the course. Almost seems like they dont ever want to deliver.
3. Posti also does not want to ever decide to which locker they want to consistently deliver. Twice in the last month I have had to collect three mails from three different lockers/collection points. Its almost as if they have been asked by the government to get people exercising.

In today's age when every company seems to be monetising fricting, Posti seems to be walking the same Big Tech path. Hugely disappointed by this level of service and overall quality degredation.

Useless service

I sent a package to Italy containing clothes, shoes, and a jacket. The package never left Finland; it was returned to the sender with a statement that it couldn't travel because it contained spray cans. This is absolutely untrue. You robbed me of €50, you provide a useless service, and you waste people's precious time. If you need to ship a package, use a private company like DHL or UPS.

Quick delivery

After a delivery company failed to deliver a package twice I asked them to hand it over to posti. Posti delivered the package to our door in less than 5 hours of receiving that from the other company. Very impressive!

this company is disgusting i hope they go bankrupt as soon as possible i have been living so many different countries around the world but this posti service is almost criminal that i us customer have to now contact every company and try to arrange a posibility that they dont cooperate as a partner with posti. shame on you! and im in such a bad situation that i have 5-20 packages coming a week and all this through out posti deliveries slow packages tracking wrong some stayin 1-2 days longer at sorting points its only shitttt what you are doing ugly

Slow post travels further from my direction.

Posti takes forever. I can't believe that the state gives into strikes for pay for talentless work with a poor work ethic. Funny the nurses can't get an increase when they work weekends and holidays but I have to pay more for this service that shouldn't be government subsidized if they cant manage to keep the business going on an international scale. I'm sorry but pathetic in a world view.

Customer service was extremely helpful!
We send a package (with honeymoon things and Christmas presents) from Finland to Denmark - the danish postoffice ended up loosing our package, and a few weeks later it appeared back in Finland! Customer service at Posti was so helpful with finding it at sending it back, again. So thankful for getting our stuff back!

Service has really gone downhill

Service has really gone downhill. My last two shipments were delayed by nearly a week without any update in the tracking system. When the items finally arrived, the boxes looked like they had been handled very roughly. It’s getting harder to trust them with important deliveries for my business

Angry Delivery Guy At 2 am at Night

It should be illegal to deliver post at night to people's appartments. The delivery guy was angry and was banging on the letter box. This is not normal. Buildings should have letter boxes by the main door for each appartment

Horrible experience. Never again.

Literally the worst shipping experience i’ve ever had, i even emailed the company which i would never normally do and never heard back from them. After seeing thousands of other people online experiencing the same exact thing, i wonder how this company is even still in business.

Unreliable shipping, low transparency, lack of irresponsibility

This is the third time that similar things with Posti has happened to me: On 7 Jan, the tracking showed it received the parcel in another country (Lithuania). Then the record stopped evolving for days. After I contacted Posti, it called me on 13 Jan saying that they had not received any parcel at all. (Well, if you haven't received it, why writing it in the tracking records?) I immediately contacted Amazon, who was to investigate the issue. (Normally Amazon would give me a refund to save the trouble, but I guess even Amazon was mad at Posti this time.) And on 14 Jan, early the next day, the parcel was out for delivery. Therefore it is quite clear that the local branch in my country (Latvia) had had the parcel all the time, but had messed up the records and did not want to resolve the issue. Most likely it did not even want to try, because otherwise why would problems be resolved instantly under the pressure of Amazon? And most likely Posti gave me a call instead of an email so as to avoid leaving any proof against them. When I finally received the parcel, there was a big hole on it, and my box of tea was broken.

Conclusion: It seems that Posti does not take individual customers seriously, and it would only solve issues under the pressure of a big customer like Amazon. Therefore I recommend individual customers to avoid using it, and Amazon customers to seek help through Amazon. Posti does not care about you.

Meanwhile, I sincerely thank Amazon for helping me get those corrupted lazy fellas back to work.

So now again i did not get my delivery…

So now again i did not get my delivery from Amazon, it was in the delivery truck all day on Januar 8 and then they brought it back to warehouse and send a sms where they told that i would get it another day soon. I do not understand why Amazon can ues Posti for deliveries, there are so many problems with them. Have still not got it on Februar 21!!!

Worst service in Europe

Posti in Finland now tops my list as the worst postal service in Europe from the point of view of sending letters and parcels from the UK.

I have to allow three weeks for any letter for it to stand a realistic chance of arriving on time. For parcels (gifts) the recipient might get charged for something or might not. I've had a parcel returned with a sticker on it where the sticker is supposed to explain the reason for the return but none of the boxes had been ticked. Every time I send something it feels like I'm rolling the dice on when and whether it will arrive and if there will be some random charge.
