Absolute rip off
Absolute rip off. Bought the AA batteries and they are too short. Only by a fraction but it means they don't make contact properly. Tried them in my thermostat control and they just fell out. Avoid at all cost.

Battery leaked in pack. Unused. Threw the rest away after reading reviews.
I used these batteries on my blood pressure reading machine which I use once a week for five minutes. The previous batteries {which came with the machine) had lasted since I bought it about a year ago. These Powercell have lasted three weeks! I have found out the hard way why they were so cheap! Avoid!
Using them for my Xbox controller and they barely last a couple of hours as opposed to better quality ones lasting between 1/2 weeks. Awful cheap batteries, don’t waste your money buy better quality
Very poor batteries. Only last a couple of days. False economy.
Bad battery its last only 2 days in in remote
Worst of money use less most worst battery in my entire life now a days it's will be in my remote old battery last more than 6 months
Bade xperience it's automatically gives 2 stars actually igive only 0 star
As every one else says: DO NOT buy their batteries. Leaking AF and ruining products !!!
Do not buy batteries leaked and corroded sons toys and HIVE heating controller
Batteries are very poor quality! They don’t last very long, but more worryingly, is they leak after a short time, leaving a very corrosive substance all over the battery terminals and even leaking out of my grandsons toys!
This could be very harmful to a child handling and ingesting such a corrosive substance.
They should be banned and taken off the market!
The only positive review I have seen, was from someone within the company. There are plenty of bad reviews, most complaining about short life span and leaking
I bought C batteries for my daughter's rocking chair and they exploded and leaked acid all over it- avoid at all costs!!!
Worst batteries ever. Used them for a week over the christmas for the decoration lights, and they died after just a week in service. Thought replace them and found all of them leaking acid. I am talking about the pack of twenty. Very dissapointed as they ruined the christmas lights which as we know arent that cheap. Best advice DO NOT BUY THEM !!!!!!
Had them leak in the past and just bought a pack of 16. Not one from the pack works.
I bought a pack of Powercell batteries for my son's Xbox remote. The batteries was out of the packet and put to one side. The battery exploded lucky none of my children touched it. I'm not happy this could have been a fatal incident if they was using the batteries in the remote or if the touched the alkaline or lead( what ever they are made of)
DO NOT use these batteries in anything that is to be used by children. adults or pets. The acid leaks while the battery still holds charge, this acid damages whatever they are used in and can cause serious burns to skin. The acid is also very toxic so if ingested, this can kill.
I e-Mailed powercell to tell them that their batteries were not safe and that only a few days after use they were leaking.I didn't get any reply and the fact they are still being sold means that the complaint was not taken seriously. They should be banned from being sold as they are dangerous
Everyone at Powercell are so Knowledgeable and helpful.
A very personable company to deal with.
