I took out a policy 5 months ago, cheaper than the rest. Then one month into the cover they wanted proof of address and copy of licence. So I provided it. Then 3 months after that they want proof of address again and a photo of the van, which I provided. Then I got a letter saying insurance was being cancelled in seven days, no explanation why, no chance to talk about it, but I only got the letter one day before the end of the seven days so basically I was stuck abroad with no insurance. Funny how they cancelled my insurance a week after I notified them I would be abroad for a holiday. Do you think I will get my money back? Oh no, cancellation fee even though they are the ones who cancelled it. AVOID. I can only think this is normal practice to make up for the low rates, so basically it's a scam outfit. Do yourself a favour, pay a bit extra and go with a reputable insurance company direct. Premier (the underwriter) only use brokers , you cant buy direct from them, and now its obvious why. To make up for the cheap price they are actively looking to cancel policies early as soon as possible and will use any excuse to do that then hide behind T&C, impose unfair cancellation fees. What a racket! Think about it, how can they offer insurance at half price, they still got to pay commission to the broker. Cheaper than everyone else until you get caught with your pants down mid term and have to buy another policy from a reputable insurance company! Thank God for Trustpilot! It won't take long before Google indexes reviews like this and it gets the free advertising it so rightfully deserves and this scam outfit gets exposed for the con game they are running. xxx to you Premier, rest assured the time I now have Ill be posting more reviews for you on every blog and review site I can find.
