Needed a wheel service for a Zipp 303. COVID guideline expectations managed and Primera were able to turn the service around pretty quickly. Staff spoken to were knowledgeable and friendly.

Great selection of bikes and equipment for all levels of rider. I needed some new handlebars fitted to my race bike and the shop had them ordered and fitted in no time. Highly recommend!

Couldn’t be happier with my experience as a customer, the staff have always gone above and beyond to help. The ‘local bike shop’ feel is hard to come by nowadays but Primera Sports have this in plenty.

Great service from the guys, had a rear derailleur issue that needed to be fixed for a race the next day and was done within the hour top service and all were willing to help get it sorted. Thanks

A great store full of amazing products and staff

I've bought a number of bikes off Primera over the years and they have always been first class. Knowledgable and keen to make sure you get the right bike for your needs. I bought another bike a few weeks back and they did everything they could to accommodate despite the challenges presented by the pandemic and the fact they were dealing with an unprecedented level of demand.

I have been purchasing from Bill and all the team at Primera for over 25 years... As a keen cyclist of all disciplines I value the teams broad and extensive knowledge across all the brands, their expertise and honesty when servicing/repairs, and their high level of customer service. They know their stuff and fortunately don’t charge for their time! We need to support these local businesses, just as they support us and our community

Low star only coz I am unable to buy a bike.Sent many emails regarding a Merida Road bike would love to get,no answers whatsoever.

Bought an Obrea Gain electric road bike for my wife from here, even though it is geared and setup for adventure riding, my wife loves it on the road with the wide section tires she finds it really comfortable. Its been great for escaping down the narrow back lanes with the gravel and ruff surfaces. We have been doing 40 -50 miles hill rides and had no issues with the range. My wife loves it, another great bikes setup and supplied, thanks guys, probably be back again soon for something else. Cheers!

Great shop and very friendly knowledgable staff. Been buying my bikes from here since they started, never had a issue. The workshop team are the only guy’s I would trust with my race bikes. If they haven’t got it they will always get it for me, suppliers and courier depending obviously. Never had any issue with anything I have bought here, never an issue with the bikes I have wheeled out from the shop. Proper bike shop for proper sports cyclists, other bike shops are available for the cheap junk and bad service but not this one

Rode away on my 2nd bike now from Primera. Always excellent service from them with no rush even when extremely busy. First bike was about 2 years ago and it’s served me well. This time was an upgrade and it’s been a joy to purchase.

Just visited the shop and VERY disappointed, wouldn't even honour the advertised discount for NHS (apparently was only applicable at the BEGINNING of lockdown...).
Checked on their website and STILL advertising phantom NHS discount.
Seems its a sellers market at the moment so that would explain some of their nonchalance....
I have bought plenty of bikes and equipment in the past from them, but won't be doing so in the future.

Thank you for responding to my review.
It was quite clear from what I observed in store, that you were operating as a business not a charity, so trying to present yourself as the latter cuts little weight.
My review is an honest account of my experience. To accuse someone of blackmail is a cheap shot, completely untrue and quite frankly libellous, so I suggest you withdraw that one sharpish.
As for coming into your store to ‘discuss things’ further I respectfully decline. At least until you apologise for your response, your misleading offers of discounts and generally wasting my time.

Recently took my Bianchi in after experiencing front wheel “wobble “.
Billy and the team completed a full front end analysis and mechanical check and after adjusting the hub pre-load and identifying that the wheel magnet as I’d fitted might have been creating wheel imbalance did all this in the name of good customer relations - bike now riding beautifully at speed downhill, very happy, Primera are a 5* business, thanks guys!

I've bought two bikes from Primera over the years, and have always had good service, but I have to give them extra marks for my most recent purchase given the extra efforts that they're having to put in to be able to provide their customers with continued support during the lockdown period. I wanted to buy a bike for my wife and despite the one I wanted being out of stock (from all retailers, due to the demand on bikes at the moment) they helped me to find a suitable alternative, despite clearly being exceptionally busy. I was concerned about picking the bike up from the store given the current COVID situation, but they were very accommodating and everyone in store was respectful of people's personal space. Hats off to you all, many thanks, and see you soon for the bike's first service.

Primera & staff truly deserve the five star rating I have given them. Absolute top service when I bought my Turbo Levo from them last year which prompted me to by another Levo for my Wife which under the present situation for travel they duly delivered to us. Wife is truly delighted with her new bike Again Top service & Products from Primera.

My husband bought a hybrid for my occasional use 18 months ago so the bike has done little mileage & not been ridden hard. During the lockdown, I was using it to attend hospital appointments, Unfortunately, the crank appeared loose so my husband rang Primera for advice but ended up having to take it to the shop for them to look at. They took it out to the back of the shop for a while and upon return stated that it was nothing major, a 5 minute job and would only cost about £20 to fix. He asked if they could go ahead and fix it as I needed it for exercise to be told that they could not fit it in until July and that it should not be ridden until fixed. We do not have the correct tools to do it ourselves so he asked if they could supply them (we would pay) to be told no.
When he was buying the bike, they couldn’t be nicer until he had parted with the money. When things go wrong their attitude is inflexible, unhelpful & not willing to assist in any way, complete lack of customer service.
