Brilliant treatment! For my enraged sciatica nerve, the shock wave therapy and decompression treatments are the only ones that ever really helped. I would recommend this to anyone with a backpain.

And I'm only half way with the treatment! I went there in crutches and 3 weeks later I was walking on my feet without crutches. Pain faded dramatically after only 3 sessions. Pain and numbness completely gone after less than a month. Still a few weeks to go to fully recover, now continuing with the next phases, stabilizing and improving my overall spine condition.😉
I would strongly recommend the treatments they do for their efficency first of all. And don't wait until pain kicks in if you know you have a back condition. And if it happenes don't have second thoughts if/when to go and have these treatments. Preventive care is even better.

To all of you that are reading this review I would like to start off by saying DO NOT DISMISS PROBACK.

They are amazing.

Having had sciatica for nigh on four months with pain ranging from 7 to 10 out of 10 (with 10 being excruciating) I was recommended Pro Back. Like you are now, I was sceptical. Mainly because I had tried other independent chiropractors which did nothing and yet cost quite a bit of money.

I eventually took the plunge and booked Pro Back. The service and booking process was first rate and on my 1st appointment I truly believed that this treatment was going to work. I booked my course in and could pay over 3 instalments which really helped. I was booked in twice a week.

Please note that results are NOT instant.

That said, in just over 2 weeks my pain had eased significantly. I am now 7 weeks in and I have no pain whatsoever and will be continuing at ProBack once a week from now for the next 4 weeks.

The results have been AMAZING and I highly recommend ProBack. Not only have they sorted my sciatica you also get to learn about your bones, neck and spine and realise how much we all overlook these. They have given me exercises to improve my posture which all of us neglect.

All I can say is that whatever doubts or concerns you may have please go to ProBack. THEY WILL LISTEN TO YOU. THEY WILL SORT YOUR PROBLEM. My only regret is that I didn’t address my sciatica sooner!

Came into Proback last October on a walking stick with chronic back problems, lousy posture and a crippling bout of sciatica. Pain-killing eased the sciatica, massage and spine decompression helped the back issues, while exercises and back support cushions have improved my posture. (On seeing me for the first time since Christmas, my sister wanted to know how I was managing to look taller)

VICTORIA PROBACK DOES MIRACLES

Over the second lockdown period I suffered from back pain caused by sciatica. I was practically paralyzed, couldn't walk at all and had sleepless nights. I Made numerous phone calls to my Gp for help. I was prescribed very strong meds that would knock me out for days but still in a lot of pain. My Gp couldn't find any medication to help relieve my pain but still kept on prescribing stronger doses. I was taking about 6 different painkillers at the same time (I'm surprised I'm still alive or not an addict). I was referred to the hospital as my pain was not going away after 2 months. While I was waiting for an appointment at the hospital, I decided to search online for help privately and saw VICTORIA PROBACK CLINIC. I called to make an appointment for a consultation and the receptionist was amazing on the phone and convinced me to book an appointment the following day.
I walked in there crippled and limping. They accessed me and took my X-ray. I saw Yohanis who went through the procedure on how he is going to fix my back pain using decompression, laser and shockwave. I was extremely sceptical. Being in the pain I was, I thought I'll try them and didn't like the thought of having surgery either but was convinced by Gp that the surgery or Injection is the best option to heal me.
After agreeing to start my treatment with Proback clinic, I finally received my appointment with the hospital for my consultation. I was told by the consultant that I would need either back surgery or an injection on my spine and had no chance that any type of physio or treatment would help me at this stage. Bare in mind that all of this decision was based on numerous phone calls to my Gp but no one had seen me to assess my case.
The consultant was hiding behind his computer, reading the Gp notes and insisted that the best way was surgery. After hearing this information, i Now started to doubt Proback clinic but attended my sessions with Yohanis. I told him what the hospital said and he reassured me that surgery is not an option for me at this stage but patience and trusting the plan he made for my recovery will help me.
This was the best decision I made. After 5 months of treatment I am a new person, I can run, walk, no more sleepless nights and no longer on medications.
And Guess what? Now that I am fully healed, I still haven't heard from the hospital for my surgery that apparently I needed to heal me (what a joke).

When I first went for my consultation at Proback I hadn’t thought my journey would result with me being able to fully walk for long hours and do the everyday things that were restricted for so many years.

I have been suffering with severe Sciatica down my back and leg, the doctor advised I have an operation. I further researched my options and contacted Proback. After my first consultation I was pleasantly surprised by the advise given and decided to go ahead with sessions moving forward. I am now in my 3rd month of treatment and from not being able to walk to now being able to get on with my day with less pain and no sight of an operation ahead.

I am very disappointed with this treatment, after my first discounted session they (David) advised to take the 18-session package (decompression-shockwave) and promised to get me at least 80% pain free. After wasted more than 2 months and spent a lot of money I am now getting ready for surgery. The staff is very kind but in Surbiton there is a lack of communication and professionalism in between the staff members. Plenty of times I received different set of exercises with no clarity and sometimes with contradictions. Sometimes I felt like a number and not a patient as there was not a follow up during the process, different staff members treating you, always in a rush with no time to answer questions (David mostly) some sessions I had to ask why I still in pain and many times David answer that it could be a mental problem!! Or maybe I am not doing my exercise properly! I stopped working just to concentrate in my back health and followed every single step. I understand that this a treatment might work for others but at least be honest and advice patient if this treatment is working or not for you. After I stoped going for my latest sessions there was not feedback or assessment. I believe they just don't care as long they are busy.

I have had chronic sciatica pain for four years now and I still can't believe what happened. My name is Ka Valentine and I have an 8 year old daughter who knows what I have been through. İ tried other treatments elsewhere, but did'nt have much effect. Was advised about PROBACK by a family member and thought what have i got to lose. My problem was i had sciatica with shooting pain down my left leg. After a consultation, i was put on a 3 month course. Very pleased with the outcome.

I had suffered around 5 years from really bad sciatica and every year it seemed to get worse. I was going through the usual process of doctor, NHS physio and private general chiropractor, neither of which had taken X-rays or had really examined the source of the sciatica symptom. Eventually it got so bad that I could not even walk more than 10 mins without being in excruciating pain, I couldn’t sit, or sleep! I train heavily in martial arts too and the pain was restricting my ability to do what I needed to. In the end I had enough and started searching for somewhere I could go to get an X-ray to see what was causing the sciatica and treatment for the actual problem! I found Proback on line and Facebook and read up on them and felt they could help. The offer of £60 for X-rays and report seemed so reasonable that I couldn’t say no and it would give me a chance to assess for myself if they could help, with out losing anything!
The examination showed that the issue had started in my neck, now damaged, and had been left so long that it had damaged the discs in my back too. I was given a course of treatments to straighten my spine and realign my neck and strengthen the muscles around the damaged areas.
My course had just completed. The X-rays showed a massive change and everything realigned to where it should be and I’m now fully functional! I can walk for 6 or 7 hours in heels with no pain at all! I can do almost everything again in my martial arts. Of course the main damage to my discs can never be repaired physically but they have helped me to become fully functional!! I will still continue to visit for checks and some treatment to keep my at my best! As an athelete- that’s necessary!
I cannot recommend proback enough! Forget surgery and don’t suffer - it can be fixed and the supporting areas strengthened enough to get you back to as normal as possible! Brilliant staff/ therapists and leadership! Dr. Chris’s knowledge and determination to fix his clients is inspiring! I always enjoy going there and I cannot thank them enough! During the lock-down period this year (2020) I often suffered severe sciatica pain in my right leg. It manifested itself by pain radiating down the back of the thigh and calf, the ankle and foot felt strangulated and often the sole of the foot was numb.
The team at Proback gave me an individualised treatment programme with shockwave, decompression treatment and exercises. This relieved the pain gradually and the feeling in my foot came back. It means I have my life back!
