After suffering from a herniated disc (L5/S1) and also upper back, neck and shoulder pains for a number of years I thought all was lost. I had tried everything from chiropractors, physios, cortisone shots and acupuncture. All would help alleviate the pain short term but nothing would solve the problem. I was stuck in a vicious cycle of having to see them on a weekly basis.

I saw an advert for Proback and thought why not (I’d tried everything else). It was so refreshing to be shown by Dr Chris on my X-rays what was actually wrong with me and form a long term plan to correct it. All I had heard for the past few years is that it’s because I work in an office and sit at a desk all day.

With a combination of shockwave treatment, exercises and spinal orthic pillows I am feeling better than I ever have done. I am less stiff, my mobility is improving and although not completely pain free yet, the difference is night and day from where I started! I look forward to continuing my recovery and would recommend the clinic to anyone who has back issues.

Everyone at the clinic is extremely nice, from the ladies on reception to the team who do the shockwave treatments. Dr Chris is a great guy and really cares about your recovery.

Yes it is expensive but you are investing in your health long term and don’t think you can put a price on that. Especially if you add up all the previous costs of seeing a chiropractor week in week out to get that slight relief.

So glad I went there and if you have back pain there is no other place to go!

I contacted Proback about 2 months ago for my chronic back pain and tension,I'm being treated with shockwave sessions,which helped me to finally feel in my body again.
I've been mostly treated by Arlind,really professional and informative,and Hannah,always kind and aknowledged.
Also,the reception team,very welcoming and
accomodating.

The treatment I have been getting has really helped me, my daughter and my son. I have been seeing improvements in my back and neck. Chiropractor Dr Chris and other staff members has been very professional and kind towards me and my children. I have been suffering from lower back pain which stopped me from bending forwards and cleaning or picking something up also dizziness. Being in this clinic has really improved my heath. My daughter has been suffering from not being able to fall asleep and back pain and the shockwaves are really helping improve her sleeping schedule. My son has been complaining about lower back pain when he wakes up in the morning and when he is running and the shockwave therapy has really helped him too. Thank you all !!!

As someone who has struggled with chronic pain, endometriosis and fibromyalgia for over a decade, I have struggled and experimented with many different treatments to try and effectively manage my pain and increase my mobility. I have been receiving treatment at Proback for well over a year now and highly recommend it.

All the practitioners have been highly invested in my treatments and have an in depth knowledge to accommodate the limitations and struggles I have had. There is a collaborative approach taken as they take the time and care to listen and understand my difficulties and are always happy to make suggestions and leverage their knowledge gained from other patients. I can speak openly and with candour, which is taken into account and has helped tailor the best treatment possible.

I’ve received both shockwave and decompression treatments as well as a laser session. Each have had varying effectiveness but have been utilised according to my symptoms to try and find the right treatment instead of accepting a limit to the improvement and progress I make. I’ve gone from struggling with days being bed bound because of pain and needing two crutches when I started treatment to using only a single walking stick and have seen an incredible increase in my mobility even if pain remains an ongoing issue.

I can highly recommend Dr Chris, Dr Nate and Arlind for their excellent care. They have all strived to help me and each have contributed in different ways in my ongoing improvement and the treatment I’ve received.

Everyone I’ve interacted with at Proback have been kind, courteous and professional. The reception staff have all been welcoming and always know me on sight, regardless of wearing a mask!

Arlind is principally in charge of my current treatment and he is excellent. I cannot praise him enough. He is an asset to the practice and I’m grateful to be in his care.

I would highly encourage those in similar circumstances as mine to take a chance on treatment at Proback.

I have suffered back and hip pain for many years, but more so during the lock down which left me in chronic pain and spasms in my lower back meaning I was unable to drive, sit for no more than 15 minutes and unable to do the normal things in life.
I am in my 20th week of treatment and all I can say is that Proback have been fabulous in their treatment, their staff are very accomodating and tailor the shockwave treatment to your individual needs.
Dr chris makes you feel really comfortable in every session and the staff don't make you feel rushed and give their full attention and show empathy and great care.
The treatment they provide is different to the normal chiropractors and is very effective.
I can truly say that i have never felt more flexible then what i am feeling now, I sleep more deeply and also dream which i haven't done for many years.
The shock wave treatment as well as laser and Decompression has really helped me, the excercise plan i am given to do at home as well as the neck and back support retrainer has helped me correct my curve in my neck and back and when I do them daily I can really feel the difference.

We are currently around 10-12 weeks into the treatment.
The practitioners are very knowledgeable and good at what they do. They explain things very well and are more than happy to answer my endless questions!
In the initial 3-4 weeks, the focus was to reduce the amount of lower back pain by relaxing the muscles in that area and treating imbalances through shockwave therapy. This was very successful and I noticed differences within the first few sessions.
Since then, the emphasis has been more geared towards postural correction (elimination of anterior pelvic tilt and optimizing the spinal curvature). This was done through a continuation of shockwave therapy, activation exercises and the use of a back support cushion. It's a bit more difficult to evaluate progress on this without a second set of x-rays but I've found my mobility and movement patterns to be better in the gym.
I will try to update this once the treatment is complete.

I have been attending Proback clinic from August 2020 this year with jaw pain (TMJ) and could only open my mouth just a little. Also I had very little movement in my neck unable to turn my neck from left and right because of the pain.
Now I am half way in my treatment and the result from the shockwave is amazing. I feel myself again.
I am still having treatment once a week but at the beginning I was having it twice a week.
I am happy with the way it is going. I can feel the improvement and I have great movement again.
The staff surely knowns what they are doing the way they find exactly the pain spot is remarkable.
The staff are very professional, presentable and friendly and always wearing a smile which makes you feel relaxed.

I was so impressed with my treatment. The analysis of the issue is really comprehensive, and the team treat you with real care. The shockwave therapy worked wonders for me, I had been having spasms down my back which have since completely disappeared, and the curvature in my neck has almost completely corrected now. I still have some RSI-related nerve pain in my wrist but we're working on it and it's definitely improving over time. Arlind is incredibly knowledgeable and I really like that he explains what's going on in my body and what he is doing to address it. His supporting team have also been excellent, really friendly and evidently very highly skilled. I also thought the pricing was very reasonable.

I walked into proback office after having 3 steroid injections, physiotherapy, osteo and seeing other chiropractors for herniated/bulged/degenerated disc and nothing helped. Proback immediately assessed my situation, took some x-rays and noted that the problems starts from the neck down, although everyone I had seen prior concentrated only on the back problem and not once did it occur to any of them that it could be more than just the back. I had started treatment straightaway with the radial shockwave and saw improvement on day one!!! After a few sessions and seeing improvements, I’ve added the spinal decompression to my treatment. I’ve improved a lot, thanks to proback. Dr. Allard does not B.S. He tells you what you need to know rather than want to hear. The front desk staff are amazing and the other staff are exceptional too. The entire staff are always cheerful. Covid precautions are well in place and I always leave there not worrying about being exposed and see improvement after each visit. Customer service is at the forefront. I am still taking treatment and will come back to give further feedback.....

During the lock-down period this year (2020) I often suffered severe sciatica pain in my right leg. It manifested itself by pain radiating down the back of the thigh and calf, the ankle and foot felt strangulated and often the sole of the foot was numb.
The team at Proback gave me an individualised treatment programme with shockwave, decompression treatment and exercises. This relieved the pain gradually and the feeling in my foot came back. It means I have my life back!

This place seems like a bit of a scam. You don’t see the actual chiropractor, but what they refer to as a ‘specialist’ who does not have a clinical degree (be sure to ask them what clinical degrees they have). They ‘diagnosis’ and ‘treat’ you by suggesting an exorbitant amount of sessions. Shockwave therapy should not take more than 6 sessions to work! The receptionists read from a script on the computer screen to assist in convincing you that their treatments work. Stay well clear and take any recommendations with a huge pinch of salt.

Had an amazing experience @Proback. I have had back pain for over 10 years whuch I developed over the years as an athlete and I have attended a few physio/chiropractic clinics + tried various therapies including deep tissue massage, acupuncture and chiropractic adjustments to no avail.

I'd just like to recommend the treatments offered @Proback for anyone who suffers from back pain and has yet to try radial shockwave therapy and/or spinal decompression. Since I started my treatment @Proback 6 months ago, I have noticed a massive improvement in my condition. Whilst I would admit that healing is a processing and everyone's situation is unique, the treatment that I have received here has really helped to alievate my back pain and improved my condition.

Also all the staff @Proback are amazing, very helpful and highly professional. And customer service is excellent. The interesting thing is, I came across Proback in the Metro newspaper and I read no review, I just wanted an alternative therapy since nothing I have tried in the past seems to be effective. But following my experience @Proback, I will advice anyone reading this review who wants to see results to definitely visit Proback.

Proback Clinic is Amazing!!!! When I first visited the clinic I was desperate and felt suicidal at times, because of the pain I was in. I have been to sooo many different places and never really got any help with the pain. Then I saw a video online about Proback and thought I'd try it, And thats when I met Dr Chris!!!!! This man is so skilled in what he does and I love how confident he is. He first recommended shockwave therapy because I had scar tissue built up, So we started that and it worked really well on my neck but not as well on my lower back. We spoke about it and he decided let's try Decompression on it and it really has improved I couldn't believe how better I felt!!!! So we now do shockwave Therapy on my neck and Decompression on my lower back. And dont get me wrong I'm not completely pain free but its a massive improvement, Which I was at a point where I didn't believe anyone could help me. And yes it isn't cheap but at the same time most back problems can't be fixed overnight it does take time and it does cost!
I am so glad I found this place, All the staff are so lovely and skilled. And the manager Dipa has the best customer service I've ever come across, She cannot do enough for you!!! What I'm trying to say is I would 10000% recommend proback they are great!!!!

I’ve had great results from my treatment at Proback! After increasing pain in my back and loss of mobility I began a course of shockwave therapy as the NHS have consistently refused to help. Over the course of my treatment I have reduced my pain from a point of agony all day and barely being able to bend over to the least pain I’ve had in my back in many years.
Like most treatments, it’s no one-off miracle cure but I have felt steady progression.
The staff at pro back have always been extremely caring and pleasant, making me feel very welcome. Whilst my back and neck have been the focus of my treatment, they have always given attention to other areas of my body when I’ve been suffering as a result of sports/exercise.
I’d highly recommend those with back or neck pain to visit pro-back as I believe it’s a far more effective and speedy process than physios or massage.

Excellent clinic! 24 year old male, came to Proback in early July with a previous diagnosis of two herniated discs from several sports injuries causing me severe, chronic pain.
Had an X-ray and examination taken at Proback and was offered decompression and shockwave treatments. I started feeling better from the first session and am pain free at the time of writing. Dr Allard (Chris) takes a holistic approach - treating the causes of the pain, not just the symptoms. The rest of the team are absolutely lovely, as well, and super attentive.

The Pro Back clinic has been a life changing experience.
20 minutes of shockwave therapy clears inflammation and restores more range of movement than a yoga session and 1.5 hour sports massage.
As the treatment gets more effective with the inclusion of spinal corrective movements and tools, I find that sensitivity has returned to all of my extremities. This has also made a difference to how food tastes, much more enjoyable.

I was recommended proback by my husband who has hugely benefited from the shockwave treatment offered. I suffer from neck and shoulder pain and mid/lower back pain. The results of the shockwave treatment are great and I feel so much more energetic and in less pain after each visit. What a wonderful Team.
For weeks I suffered with severe sciatica, I couldn't walk, sit, or sleep was on pain killers I was waiting for a 2nd back operation for a bulging disc when thankfully I came across an advert for Proback and normally I would pass it by. But something made me click on it and have a look and I thought this sounds good and even though I was still in two minds I decided to call the guy on the phone I think was Sam was so lovely. I explained everything to him and he said to come in and get Dr Christian to have a look as he thought that there was something they could do. I had started to wean myself off the tablets for the op I was able to get around easier which helped me get to London. Well I am half way through my 12 week treatment of Shockwave and I have to say wow my leftside feels so good no pain, I am more relaxed and sleeping better which has lifted my mood too as we all know when you are in pain it can bring you down. I have started having treatment at Proback about a month ago. I have been suffering from vertigo, and decided to try Proback based on a friend’s recommendation. In the first appointment x-ray of my neck was taken, and a couple of days later based on the x-ray result and physical examination, a 12 week treatment plan was offered. After about a month’s Shockwave treatment with Arlind, I already feel marked improvement in my condition. Arlind is very friendly, professional, helpful and experienced. I expect by the end of the treatment I will fully recover. The overall experience at Proback has been very positive. All staff at Proback, Dipa, Melinda, and others are very professional, courteous and helpful. I would highly recommend Proback.
