Suffering from acute sciatic pain on my back and knees, and barely able to walk, I went to Proback to address the root cause of my problems. After a consultation and x-rays, I was prescribed a targeted treatment plan, which involved laser therapy, radio frequency and prolozone injections. Thanks to the amazing team (especially Shola and Musadir), I am virtually pain free with improving mobility and sleeping better. I highly recommend the clinic to get your life back on track.

After a year of significant lower back pain, two sets of steroid injections, two courses of physiotherapy and a few osteopathy appointments I was a bit desperate. I’ve got bulging discs pressing on nerves which made climbing stairs and slopes and uneven surfaces very painful. A friend had recommended shockwave therapy for another part of the body and I thought I’d give it a shot. I was skeptical to start with but after 7 sessions of shockwave and K Laser treatment I was beginning to notice a significant improvement in my back and pain levels. Stairs and slopes are no longer so painful and I can straighten my back when I try. I’m on the maintenance path now which includes exercising at home. The staff at the Proback clinic are very helpful and professional.

I originally went to ProBack 2 years ago after being diagnosed with seven bulging discs in my spine. I was in extreme pain and couldn't sit down or stand up without extreme pain. Proback took X-rays and discovered I had lost the curvature in my spine, and my prosthetic hip was situated much higher than my own hip, which may have aggravated my spine, causing these issues. I had been going to my doctor for 3 years, since having a hip replacement, as I had experienced constant pain in my hip and back, and I was only offered a steroid injection, which, after research, is not recommended in a prosthetic hip. So I was desperate for some pain relief.
Proback put me on a 12-week plan, incorporating shockwave and laser treatment. They gave me a back cushion to recreate the curve in my spine and an insole to help correct my misaligned prosthetic hip. After a couple of weeks, I noticed a large reduction in pain, and after the 12-week plan, I was pain-free. At this time, the pain in my prosthetic hip and my own hip had increased so much that I could not work. I finally saw a surgeon who put me on a 10-week waiting list for my prosthetic hip treatment, and a 9-month waiting list to have my own hip replaced.
I went to Proback for my back treatment, very upset and confused, as my back was getting better, but now my hips were so painful that I could not work. They looked at my X-rays again and advised that they can help with both hips, and my own hip does not need a replacement, as it's not bone-on-bone, but they can alleviate the inflammation and pain.
I had prolozone therapy and hydra-dissection therapy, which has been life-changing. My pain had reduced by 60%. I am still having treatment, but the reduction in pain is remarkable. I can work, walk without limping, and more importantly, I don't think I will need another hip replacement for a while. They are worth every penny.

Whatever I say will be little about this clinic and the people in it. I will start by saying that for 8 years I have been suffering from chronic pain in the spine and neck as a result of professional sports. I have about 4.5 herniated discs, protrusions and a damaged peripheral nervous system. I visited many hospitals and sanatoriums for treatment, but the result was for about 2 weeks and then the pain returned again.Until I found ProBack Clinic. From the phone call to make an appointment, I felt the warmth and care from Melinda. She was very thorough in answering my questions and made an appointment for me. My first visit to the clinic was to have an X-ray done to see the problem and to prescribe a specific treatment for my condition. That day, I also met one of the physiotherapist Johannes, who was extremely attentive and explained everything to me very carefully, because my English is not perfect and he was so good at repeating or finding a way to explain everything in a simpler way.And so began my great adventure with all these wonderful people. Every day the reception was filled with big smiles and despite the pain I was feeling, I forgot about it for a moment. The clinic team is very kind, friendly, attentive and always responsive when I needed help. When I was admitted to the clinic, I was very weak, I could barely move my head and legs, and it was extremely difficult to make any rotational movements. I felt pain with every step and had lost all hope for a normal and mobile life (a year before I met them, I had paresis on the entire left side of my body). We started treatment with shock wave, laser and spinal decompression. This treatment literally saved my life because now I enjoy every movement. I walk without problems, jump, run and dance like before. Johannes was my physiotherapist and together with him we built a wonderful connection and trust in each other and with small steps we achieved big results. Thank you ProBack Clinic for being there, for your professionalism and the love to every single person. Now I am firmly on my own two feet and I am training according to a plan prepared by Johannes. For these 4 months you have become like part of my family. Deep gratitude to everything you do, because without you I would not be able to do it.

I've been a patient at ProBack Clinic Victoria since 2022 after researching solutions for chronic back pain caused by poor posture and an old car accident that affected my neck and hip. From the first consultation with Dr. Chris, I knew I was in expert hands. My personalized plan included chiropractic adjustments, shockwave therapy, decompression, laser treatments, and daily support techniques—plus physiotherapy exercises emailed to me for ongoing progress.

Over the past 18 months, I've seen steady healing and real results not just in pain relief, but in overall mobility and well-being. As a former pro basketball player and current international referee, I came in with a body full of old injuries. Prolozone injections with Mudasir and Chris have been especially helpful in reducing inflammation,scars and improving recovery.

The staff at ProBack are incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and patient. I had to reschedule many times, and every interaction especially with Mrs. Deepa at the front desk was handled with promptness and genuine care. She treats everyone like family, and that warmth makes a huge difference in the healing journey.

One important reminder: healing takes time. Don’t expect decades of pain to disappear in one or two visits. With commitment, patience and support, though efforts , it is possible.

The Proback Victoria team are very lovely. Although it turned out that I had Fibromyalgia, the K-laser and shockwave therapy brought some relief to some unbearable focus points of my pain, when my hips would jam up and my shoulder was sore. They were very understanding and flexible when I messed up my appointment timings due to brain fog, always did the best they could do to accommodate and on occasion, made time to see me if I could drop in quickly. For a long time, their treatment kept me afloat and their kindness and sensitivity honestly brightened up my days. Unfortunately, the treatment didn't fix my underlying issue (which it couldn't have), but it definitely kept me going a bit longer and it's still a great solution to non-pharmaceutical pain relief. I went for an initial consultation and follow-up where my x-ray results were shared. Both were friendly and professional just seemed very early career rather than experienced practitioners. I think they were very busy both days so a little chaotic with 2 different therapists seeing me for first appointment and then same with shockwave therapy. I tried shockwave therapy and laser treatment but was given no exercises to do on my own. Given my condition is 3 months on I thought I would give it a go and I may get the more advanced treatments. The shockwave was ok - much like a massage gun and lazer I didnt feel anything. Each treatment was 20 min or so. The next day felt limited improvement and the cost and time to travel into to central was not worth it. I personally found local independent consultants usually charge less and have much more experience in a specific area. No critique of individuals I met with they were positive albeit rushed in their energy - I just didn’t leave with a belief this was the right treatment location for me. I am now focusing on 1:1 pilates which is £25 for 50 minutes and maya facial release ans radio frequency therapy which is £50 for 45 minutes.

I have so much to thank Proback for! I came in with a disc herniation causing awful sciatica that I was finding really hard to tackle by myself at 21- I was rapidly losing mobility and getting worse faster than I could manage it. Though I'm not 100% yet (to be expected!) I owe all the improvement to Proback. I found all three treatments to be beneficial - decompression, laser, and shockwave. There was a point where I couldn't straighten my leg or walk for 30 minutes every morning due to nerve pain, and now I do not have any sciatic pain and am back in the gym which was my goal! I do not live close to the clinic at all, and each session would be a 4 hour round trip for me, but I would have travelled for twice that to have the results I achieved. I would recommend this clinic especially if you feel a little exasperated with NHS physio as I did. Going to Proback feels like you're actually healing the root of the problem. Every single staff member I came across or met was lovely, professional, and had a great attitude. It genuinely felt like every practitioner I saw wanted me to get better- they are all just really nice people.

On Hand and Knees. After consultation, found out I had a Severely Compressed Spine and Neck Vertebrates. Right Hip drops a few millimetres. Treatment started on the 2nd June 2022. I crawled in and walked out. 5 months on, All Lower Back Pain disappeared within three weeks of starting Treatment. Process included Laser Treatment for the Sore Area within my Right Hip, Decompressing the Spine thus lifting back to near it original position, Shock Treatment to the entire back Area including Right Hip. Currently, only revisit for monthly check-ups. As an Engineer, I’m back on my feet No Pain or Stiffness. I will forever be thankful for the Team at Proback. Reception, Consultants and Superbly Qualified Team.

It took me several years to find the best treatment that does help me with the migraines and headaches. I have probably tried everything (traditional and homeopathic medicine and treatments) and found that the Chiropractors and laser treatments that I've been offered at Proback have helped me the most.

AMAZING treatment. Came in with severe back pain and ended up coming out feeling nothing! Over an 18 week period I was given Shockwave Therapy, Laser Therapy and Decompression Therapy. These all helped me out tremendously in my recovery. They give discounts too depending on how you want to pay and they don’t force any plans on you from day 1 so you have time to choose. The staff were absolutely wonderful in their work. I do have to put in a special word in for Yohanis as he was the person who mainly worked on me and I’ve been happy with him every step of the way. He’s very caring and understanding. The information he provided is very informative and I never had any second thoughts. VICTORIA PROBACK DOES MIRACLES

Over the second lockdown period I suffered from back pain caused by sciatica. I was practically paralyzed, couldn't walk at all and had sleepless nights. I Made numerous phone calls to my Gp for help. I was prescribed very strong meds that would knock me out for days but still in a lot of pain. My Gp couldn't find any medication to help relieve my pain but still kept on prescribing stronger doses. I was taking about 6 different painkillers at the same time (I'm surprised I'm still alive or not an addict). I was referred to the hospital as my pain was not going away after 2 months. While I was waiting for an appointment at the hospital, I decided to search online for help privately and saw VICTORIA PROBACK CLINIC. I called to make an appointment for a consultation and the receptionist was amazing on the phone and convinced me to book an appointment the following day.
I walked in there crippled and limping. They accessed me and took my X-ray. I saw Yohanis who went through the procedure on how he is going to fix my back pain using decompression, laser and shockwave. I was extremely sceptical. Being in the pain I was, I thought I'll try them and didn't like the thought of having surgery either but was convinced by Gp that the surgery or Injection is the best option to heal me.
After agreeing to start my treatment with Proback clinic, I finally received my appointment with the hospital for my consultation. I was told by the consultant that I would need either back surgery or an injection on my spine and had no chance that any type of physio or treatment would help me at this stage. Bare in mind that all of this decision was based on numerous phone calls to my Gp but no one had seen me to assess my case.
The consultant was hiding behind his computer, reading the Gp notes and insisted that the best way was surgery. After hearing this information, i Now started to doubt Proback clinic but attended my sessions with Yohanis. I told him what the hospital said and he reassured me that surgery is not an option for me at this stage but patience and trusting the plan he made for my recovery will help me.
This was the best decision I made. After 5 months of treatment I am a new person, I can run, walk, no more sleepless nights and no longer on medications.
And Guess what? Now that I am fully healed, I still haven't heard from the hospital for my surgery that apparently I needed to heal me (what a joke).

I highly recommend proback clinic! All the staff is Very professional and friendly! I've been visiting clinic for over 2 months and I couldn't be happier with the results. I did mixture of decompression, shockwave and laser therapy for my lumbar area and the results within 2 months are amazing. I don't want to go too much into details in regards my lower back issues but I was in pain 24/7 and very poor sleeping pattern. After 2 months of therapy I have no more pain, much improved mobility and I can finally enjoy a good sleep! I still have to use orthotics cushions for another 2 months and home exercises to improve my posture and strengthen my back but I can enjoy my everyday life now which is priceless! I wanna say special thank you to my practitioner Yohanis! I feel like he went extra mile for me but I'm sure this is how he treat every patient. I was after an effective treatment/specialised therapy for my very painful and tense back & neck caused by long hours sitting at a Desk. I have been seeing the ProBack team at Victoria for a few months now, with great results! Their radial shockwave therapy along with their K-Laser & Cupping Therapy is excellent. They were able to hit all the problem areas in my back effectively. On top of this, the combination of their knowledge, spinal orthotics and exercises have proven very efficient. When I came to the Proback Clinic,the quality of my life was very low because of severe pain of the entire spine and of course of headaches,insomnia,balance disorder.
I wasn"t very optimisctic that I would feel much better because of my age(74).But,after ONLY two weeks of treatment with shockwaves and laser effect is really "miraculous".Spinal pain was significantly reduced and the collateral symptoms,disappeared.
If I am optimistic now,it is due not only to the high performance equipment but also to the team,very good,very kind and beautiful proffesionals

I have been suffering from excruciating sciatic pain for weeks due to a prolapsed lumber disc (L5/S1). I have pretty much been told from my consultant that I would need surgery to recover and I have been feeling stressed, anxious and have been on so many painkillers just to try and manage the pain.
I was recommended I contact Proback by a friend, who’s family have been going to them over the years for various neck and back problems.
I got in touch with Proback in Victoria and went in for an assessment.
After the assessment they also took neck and back x-rays. I went back the next day to get my results and to hear Dr Chris’ thoughts on how/if he thought he could help. He went into much detail and made everything very clear on the state of my condition and through the neck x-rays he also discovered that I have degenerative disc disorder in my neck (I had only previously had an MRI scan of my back so this was new information). I found him to be very passionate, open and honest. He told me he thought I had a “fair” chance of being able to recover naturally so potentially avoiding surgery, if this wasn’t the case then at least he could help with pain relief and if I did need surgery further down the line my body would be in a much better place to heal quicker after an operation. When I heard I had a chance of healing to avoid surgery I had to go for it and I was given an 18 week treatment plan.
I have been having a combination of decompression, shock wave and laser therapies and rehab exercises will also be introduced in later weeks. I have now just finished my 3rd week where I had another assessment to check how I was doing. I was told I was responding well to treatment and the prognosis has now gone up from “fair” to “good”. I can’t express how grateful and happy I am. In just 3 weeks I am already feeling the benefits and have started to have a reduction in pain; feeling more comfortable, mobile and energised for longer periods at a time. I have also been able to start lowering the painkillers I am taking and sleeping better. In such a short time my quality of life has already improved. I know I still have a very long way to go but coming into the clinic is the highlight of my week and I am feeling really positive for the first time since the start of my condition, which in itself i know is helping with my recovery. I can not praise the Proback team enough, everyone is so professional and personable. A special thank you to Dr Chris for his guidance through my treatment plan and his therapy work, I know I am in a safe pair of hands. Also a big thanks to the wonderful Sneha for her treatments and also Abdul. You feel there is genuine care from all at the clinic for you to get better and they create an easy and friendly atmosphere. Also the delightful reception team who are so efficient and always there with a warm welcome and Dipa who with all her experience has been so helpful answering any questions I may have.
I would fully recommend Proback to anyone with neck or back pains. I am looking forward to the rest of my course of treatments.
