I was looking at the prices of a rode NTG3 microphone in google shopping. I found one at 150 GBP link in it, which point me to Production Room. I bought one from them using paypal which was quickly. Received the invoice and everything, but after an hour I also received a call.

The guy talking to me said that the microphone could not be sold to me, as it was less than half of the price and it was not their responsibility to sell me the microphone. Therefore, my order was to be cancelled.

I have even the conversation recorded in audio together with the invoice. So paypal now notes the money was taken but not received back yet.

I have had better luck with Amazon UK when I bought an SRS X9 speakers at less than half of the price as well, at least they respected that.

Just a note if anyone sees an amazing offer from them, just wait for a bit until they decide that it is not of their best interest.

It’s not often I feel compelled to review a company, but the service I received from Production Room was above and beyond.

I visited the store to look for a small PA system, I know very little about this type of equipment but the staff demonstrated the various options and explained in detail how to configure the system (they even provided me with a diagram).

I have previously felt a little intimidated when visiting music shops, but the staff at Production Room have changed my opinion. If you are in the Leeds area I would highly recommend a visit.

Me and my partner bought some speakers for over £200. However we needed to return them due to a relative buying us the better model speekers. The guy behind the counter rudely stated that he could only offer store credit. So be aware that they just want to keep their money by giving store credit !!!

I first purchased the Maschine Studio, KRK monitors and Focusrite Sapphire sound card, which I found absolutely amazing. Then I purchased the Komplete 10 Ultimate Crossgrade which is a world in itself.

I have produced music for over 20 years using various set-ups, but I must say that this Maschine is really a joy to work with mainly due to the amount of sounds and functionality of this Native Instruments products.

Additionally, the staff at Production Room have been more than helpful. When i phoned and asked specific questions about the products, they either solved the problem or directed me in the right direction.

The good thing about it is that i know there are hours upon hours of creativity with these products, which I zealously intend to do.

I have found Production Room a very professional and excellent customer and delivery service. All my inquiries about my equipment needs were professionally and speedily dealt with, and the delivery time was excellent.

I have and will continue to recommend Production Room to anyone in the Music Recording and Live industry.

I've ordered a few items over the last couple of years, I simply can't fault this company with their great deals and excellent customer service. I highly recommend them.

Really great, personal shopping experience. Really happy with my products and extra service allowing me to purchase Pro Tools at a really good rate. Liked the personal service you get, will be going back to the store for anything audio related from now on.

I both spoke to these guys on the phone and online before I bought pro-tools. I like them. they are down to earth and trustworthy, which is why I went back to them again for something else.
It sounds a bit over the top I suppose, but when you can deal with a shop which gives you exactly what you want (plus a bit more), at a good price, and a bit of support afterwards, then I tend to go back. It's amazing how many suppliers cannot get that right, but the production room do.

I recently purchased a Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 from Production Room. This was the first purchase I have made from Production Room and found them to be highly efficient. Prior to my purchase I contacted them with a query to which the response was quick and to the point. Based on my experience I would not hesitate to use them again and would highly recommend. Incidentally, I am very pleased with my purchase which is now fully installed into my studio setup. I look forward to my next purchase from Production Room.

Bought a Korg MS-20 Mini (on 0% finance). My parcel was damaged on delivery so I emailed them before opening, they said it I could have it collected and swapped for another or open it and check for damage without effecting my right to return or warranty. Basically I was assured that they really wanted a happy customer. I opened it up and everything was fine, I was pleased with the service and will be using them to make my next purchase.

I got my hands on a Moog Sub 37 a few weeks ago thanks to the team at Production Room. The Sub 37 is limited edition synth and very few have made it to the UK. The team kept me in the loop liaising with Moog over several months after my order was placed which was really appreciated. It was quite an event when I visited Production Room to pick up the synth as I checked it out in the shop. The staff were nearly as excited as me as they had not had sight of the beast in the 'flesh' before as the few that have arrived had been quickly whisked off by their new owners.
The synth is fantastic. It's intuitive front panel makes manipulating sound a dream and I particularly like the sequencer which can provide fantastic patterns. I've bought many items from Production Room over the last few years and value their after sales support and their patience when I contact for advice particularly in regard to glitches I have experienced with my DAW. Many thanks to all at Production Room.

I purchased my novation mininova from Production Room. I called to check stock levels before placing my order, sadly the last one had been sold just moments before I called. I spoke to a member of staff and she informed me that they would have stock by the end of the week. She offered me a fantastic price and placed my order. It arrived 2 days later on Wednesday well before I was expecting it. Very happy customer, can't wait to shop there again!

I can wholeheartedly recommend the service at the Production Room, which was exemplary from start to finish. From the off-set, when they discounted the item to a price match, throughout the ordering process and delivery, Daniel was on hand to offer advice and updates. Communication was great, both by email and 'phone. The item had to be ordered in and he was great at keeping me informed, as it was a high-value item I was purchasing as a present. When it arrived, it did not have a UK plug, and he dispatched an adaptor immediately, which arrived the following day. I genuinely cannot rate them highly enough and would certainly contact them again for buying musical equipment.

Got this for an absolute bargain price (surplus trade show stock) and, as a consequence, through a loyalty offer, an absolute bargain price on an ISA-One pre amp. But you can't just demand loyalty, it has to be earned, and my experience of Production Room has been nothing but pleasurable.

I bought a Korg keyboard which was classed as B stock as the box had been opened. When I received the keyboard it was as new, no signs of being used. Great service and communication being able to actually speak with someone. And I saved a lot of money too!

I wasn't quite sure what it was I needed but on speaking to a Production Room person I was soon sorted and the equipment arrived the next day and was exactly what was required.
