Company has gone into liquidation but are still taking orders and money, they will not respond or deliver any orders.
If you have already paid for an order, contact your bank to dispute the payment also try to find out who the administrators are.

Regarding Pro-Gains
Iv placed an order, never once informed that there is a problem with the company?
Emailed countless times and called but to no avail. If any one els has had any joy I would like to know.
Very annoyed as all the web site is up and running as usual someone is obviously taking money fraudulently.......

I have just had a message from the original owner as I messaged him on facebook, he said that he sold the business, I have asked him for contact details of who he sold it to and said it is in his interest to help here as his name is being banded about and people including myself think he is still running the business - I will post details of his reply when I get one.
Also I have logged this on website reporting.actionfraud.police.uk
and received a crime reference number - I think this is the only way to hopefully get this website and the APP shut down

I have been ripped off for £56. The site is still taking orders and taking peoples money but the company has shut its doors and gone into liquidation. The police need to get involved as this is fraud and theft!!!

So I bought some meals from the Pro Gains website last Friday (12th October) and they were supposed be delivered yesterday (16th October). No meals have turned up and I've had no response to several calls or emails. I've resorted to messaging the owner (Marco Hajikypri) on Facebook Messenger to elicit a response (surprisingly no response so far...). But he does love his picture in the local paper, does Marco.

Sadly he doesn't love to deliver the goods you pay him for. Looks like other people are having the same issues too judging by recent reviews.

If you look on the Companies House website it says his business is in liquidation but his website is still fully operational... They take your money and don't send you the meals which is akin to theft. Be warned.

Service from hell. Took my money nothing delivered, no response from my many emails will never use progains again I have deleted their app

I ordered some PRO-GAINS (Professional Gains) meals some time ago and had problems from the start.
1) The ice packs werent sufficient to keep anything cool in sunny warm weather and it already smelt musty when I got hold and retrieved if from a neighbour
2) Out of the 30 packs we ordered 9 of the plastic boxes /lids were smashed.
3) The Tuna was almost inedible, dry and like cardboard
4) Chicken when reheated was dry as hell (I tried a flash fry / microwave / oven and steam to give them a fair shot.
5) Most of the food was bland, even the ones with flavouring on
6) Weights were nowhere near what was advertised - theres no way 180g of uncooked chicken would go down to 70G when cooked - unless it was the cheapest rubbish that was full of water but they claim its quality meat. Veg was regularly under and that wasnt cooked as such.
7) Same issue where they claim if you dont choose a veg or carb, they give you more of the other - they dont, they just miss it out. So you get less weight in the meal.
8) The fish, you may aswell not bother, what you get is so tiny - virtually a mouthful if that.
9) The images on the website of the meals show quite full plates, plenty of food - but in reality its a couple of dry chunks of whatever youve ordered
10) The majority arent appetising - veg turned to mush - rice was thick and claggy, mince was dry and had a very funny taste about it when cooked.
11) A few had to be binned right away as they didnt smell fresh either

I messaged a number of times and emailed and it took numerous before I got a response and all it said was "next time we'll make sure you get all the right weights" !!!!!!!!! FFS that should have been what was provided in the first place seeing as thats what I paid for. So pretty much they are saying they dont care if you dont get what you paid for unless you complain - no offer of a refund or partial - nothing just expecting me to lay out all that money for them to try again and do better - not likely.
What you will realise if you buy this, is that for the tiny amounts you get - you can spend a couple of hours at home, one good shop at a supermarket and you can prepare the equivalent to these - for about 40% less than they charge. Thats what I have been doing.
*** Oh part of the very (non) helpful response was that I could send back some packs if the protein wasnt up to weight, but not if I had opened the package/container - what am i mystic Meg???!!! and at my own expense.
I felt like putting it all in a carrier bag, minus the plastic boxes - leaving it outside in the sun for a few days and then posting it back to them without any payment on!!
Dont waste your money = Do It Yourself.

I work 12 hour days and after the gym wanted to take away the hassle of cooking. I thought that as Progains had so many followers on social media it would be a good company to buy from... Wish I had read these reviews before because it was NOT. The meals, I bought 10, tried 2 and threw the rest in the bin, were disgusting. One I tried was tuna steak, couscous with leeks. The tuna was solid, dry and inedible, along with the leeks tasted funny, as if they had gone off. The only thing I can say was OK was the couscous. Second I tried the beef stew and had to take the pieces of meat out they were that chewy and dry.

I haven’t even bothered messaging the company to let them know as I am not wasting anymore of my time with them.

I will be sure to read reviews prior to ordering next time!

P.S - I am not one to leave reviews, I made this account specifically so I could write one about this company because It was that terrible.

Used this place before I read the reviews on here! Wish I had read them first, my food turned up on time and fresh so I can’t complain there but the food is really really bland! I highly doubt a brilliant chef makes these like they claim. I will be throwing most of it away to be honest. I tried to cancel my order not long after making it but was told no as they had already ordered the meat :/ as if they couldn’t use that meat on another order, I explained it was because I read bad reviews and they said the reviews were fake! Clearly not, they should have really just refunded me, cancelled the order and saved themselves another negative review but aw well. the only way I was able to contact them was through Facebook messenger which I found weird! I’m giving 2 stars because the food actually was fresh but I would recommend staying clear of them.

By far the worst food prep I’ve ever used. I ordered £10 meals for £50, when they arrived the meals were in a cardboard box with polystyrene and 2 ‘ice packs’ both of which were warm. 2 small ice packs is no where near enough for 10 meals. There was a strong smell as soon as I started to unpack them and none of the meals were cold. I refrigerated them immediately. The next day my fridge smelled vile and I had to throw them all away.

Back and forth emails for two weeks with someone that can barely string a sentence together which resulted in eventually being asked ‘can you provide evidence of your warm gone off meal to our investigation team’.

Yeah sure, I kept them all this time you f****** idiot.

Awful food and service! Be warned. The rice was off on the day it was delivered and gave me a food poisoning. The meat was salty as hell, table salt of course. I don't eat that much salt in a week never mind in one meal! The protein and vegetables were missing out of a packet too, when I emailed support they just ignored it. And yes, the potatoes were supposed weigh 150g according to their website, but when I weight it was just 80g.
I've asked them to cancel next delivery which was due in two days and they said they've started preparing my food and can't cancel it anymore... They advertise as fresh! That's not fresh obviously! When it got delivered it was already all off and smelled terrible, like they made it days ahead of delivery. All ended up in the bin.
Seriously, total liars and not worth any money. I wouldn't recommend their food to anyone, in fact I got ill from it and had to throw it all away. Their customer service is as bad and unhelpful as everyone says.

So, I thought I would give this 'meal prep' company a go. I mean, what could be simpler, right? The first box arrived today. I have just opened it to find a teaspoon of spinach in one meal which they count as a portion. I have taken all of the foods out and weighed them individually. 80g of cooked white potato DOES NOT equal 30g of carbs guys. The chicken was also woefully under, and I can only presume that they bought cheap water filled breasts, weighed them raw, then portioned out the remaining offerings. It tastes alright, I'm not going to slag them off for this element, but again, it is hardly mouth watering. Worse, one meal arrived with no lable on, with marker pen written 'haddock'...it contains zero protein source. Come on guys, quality checks prior to dispatch!!! Another meal has zero spinach, as opposed to the teaspoonful in the other. Very disappointed and won't use again

Absolutely vile food. Wouldn’t give it to a dog. Contacted the company to express my views and was asked to take photos....like they can taste the food through a picture?! Smelt absolutely awful, weeks worth went into the bin. No reply from company regarding my complaint

This guy and his company are totally disgraceful. The food arrived in broken boxes as if his employees were playing football with them. He refuses to refund you, although the internet is full of bad reviews about him. I should have read all these bad reviews and save my money. The authorities must prevent this guy from having a company ever. Completely dishonest, zero customer service and horrible meals.

My husband ordered 42 meals from Pro Gains on 22-03. We had to complain straight away due to damaged boxes, lids not on goods properly and leaked juices all over the inside of the delivery box. The company responded fairly quickly asking for evidence e.g. photos which were sent in good time - we have yet to hear anything back.
I emailed the company yesterday to complaint about the so-called quality of the food: the rice/pasta is over cooked and mushy, the chicken/fish is dry, and the vegetables look and taste ‘off’. The majority of meals tasted so far have proven to be inedible. There are no use-by dates on the containers so ‘Goodness only knows’ when they were put together! I have emailed Pro Gains again today (to chase up) and despite receiving a very prompt response initially (yesterday) I have not heard anything else back. Reading the other reviews on Trustpilot it is obvious to see that the issues we have experienced are not in isolation. I would whole-heartedly recommend anyone considering ordering Pro Gains meals to wait until they improve their service standard.

One of the he worse food I have eaten, bland.
Complete waste of money.
Salmon has a strong smell like its bad.
Carrots same.
For others,I cannot explain
I have used other services AND THEY BRING MOST MEALS WITH SOME FORM OF SAUCE.
but this is the worst by far.
Thank God I ordered just one week.
They are all in the bin.

Made a complaint about a broken box that arrived - destroying all the labeling of "use by" dates and so I asked what dates were on the food delivered.... No response other than a holding email.
Because of the zero response, I had to throw all bar 2 meals in the bin as no idea of the "use by" dates and most were chicken!

Incidentally - 2 weeks later and I've still heard nothing back to resolve it.

Paid for 4 weeks of food upfront, wish I hadn't. Food is tasteless and bland.

There is nothing I could recommend from this company. Shame - as on the surface sounds a good idea.

Awful food. Tastes terrible. Customer service is bad. I had a complaint which i was told would be looked into and never got another response. Be warned; the food on the order screen is different to the food on the actual menu, if you do decide to order (I wouldn't recommend it) read through the menu on their website to avoid unwanted surprises.

Food is amazing, had very fast delivery and great support from the customer service team when needed help to order
