Not worth recommending
This morning I parked in the 1710 H. St. NW Washington DC parking garage. I did not have a smooth experience at this location. I was very disappointed by the initial interaction with the parking attendant at this location this morning at 7:10am. The way in which the Parking attendants were very rude and impatient in explaining the parking procedures were unnecessary. I was not aware of the process of stopping before entering the facility to retrieve a ticket to park and I was not aware of the parking garage path for parking. I simply wanted to know if the path of the parking garage would lead me downward towards more parking, should I need or want to proceed further to seek more parking. The parking attendant who tried to assist me with understanding the procedure for parking in the garage, proceeded to answer my questions very rudely and became frustrated when he believed I did not understand. I will not be a returning patron of this parking facility.
I am very disappointed in my experience. I would recommend providing a better method of new drivers to view and understand the parking garage procedure through more signage, for instance, "If you do not see a parking attendant outside, Please wait for someone to assist you before proceeding down to parking". I would also recommend providing parking attendants better ways to communicate with customers who are new to the area and also new to parking in that particular garage, through explaining best ways to enter the garage and exit.

Easy and smooth to get in and park. The only drawback was the porter who came to pick up our bags. He was nice and friendly but made it a point to say we could tip him. We planned to do that but to be reminded is a little much.

Paid online. Easy. Checked in by scanning the printed copy. Person at check in was friendly. Easy. Parked in handicapped space. Plenty of those. Not a far walk to terminal. Easy. No complaints at all.
Propark could care less about their customers
My husband and I have been paying an arm and a leg for almost a full year to park at this location as we live in the apartment building above. Recently I went to retrieve our car on a Tuesday morning. The valet attendant told me there was a "small problem", handed me a claim form, and then walked me around to the left rear bumper where there was a huge crack in the rear left fender, light, and bumper. A part was hanging off the car.
This situation was not handled well by Propark and we received very poor customer service in regards to this situation by Propark.
I asked the manager of the garage when this damage had been done to our car and the answer was that it was probably done by the valet the previous Saturday night when we had last returned the car to the garage. When I asked why we hadn't been told about the damage to our car immediately I was told this was their policy. If this is their true policy it is ridiculous and needs to change as this is the worst customer service. When damage is done to a car by a valet service the car's owner should we notified asap as appropriate so that the proper repair can be completed in a timely fashion.
Throughout the process we had to push to simply get our car to the repair shop to be fixed sooner rather than the end of the week days later as Propark wanted to have happen. We also had to push to get them to pay for a rental car replacement in the meantime and to have them tow our car to the shop as it was unsafe to drive with the damage.
Throughout the process we received very flat unempathetic thank yous from Propark.
In addition, every time we went to retrieve our rental car from the valet, we would have to explain the whole issue again, that, yes we have a rental car because they had damaged our car, and they would have trouble finding it every time. They obviously do not have a very good process for this if one at all.
Propark does not care about their customers or about providing good customer service.
