SCAM ALERT: 30+ Emails and Still No Refund – Legal Action Initiated against Snapbuy & Proscenic

Stay away from Snapbuy and Proscenic. This has been the most unprofessional and exhausting business experience I have ever encountered.

I purchased a Proscenic Q20 Plus for my company, Rejoice Styling. It arrived defective, but getting a return authorized was a nightmare. It took more than 30 emails of back-and-forth stalling before they finally accepted the return.

The facts:

• March 12th: The device was officially delivered back to Snapbuy’s warehouse.

• Current status: It has been over two weeks, and both Snapbuy and the manufacturer, Proscenic, are refusing to issue a refund of €399.90.

• Both companies are ignoring all correspondence. Snapbuy points to Proscenic, and Proscenic (who has been in CC for weeks) remains silent. They are effectively holding my business funds hostage.

Legal Action:

• As of Monday morning, March 30th, I am moving forward with:

• A formal Court-Ordered Payment Reminder (Mahnverfahren) via the Amtsgericht München against Snapbuy GmbH.

• Claiming the €40.00 late payment penalty (§ 288 para. 5 BGB) plus statutory interest and all legal fees.

•Reporting this structural misconduct to the German Gewerbeamt.

If you are a business owner or consumer, do not trust these brands. They ignore legal deadlines and have zero respect for customer rights. Snapbuy and Proscenic: I will see you in court on Monday.

the Proscenic F10 wet-dry vacuum…

the Proscenic F10 wet-dry vacuum cleaner I recently purchased. Since the very first day of use, the device has been malfunctioning and is practically unusable.
I am experiencing the following persistent issues:
1. Water Tank Sensors: The device constantly gives false alerts, stating that the clean water tank is empty when it is full. Similarly, it reports that the dirty water tank is full even when it only contains a few drops of water.
2. Self-Cleaning Failure: The vacuum is almost never able to complete the self-cleaning cycle successfully.
3. Water Leakage: This is the most serious issue. While the device claims the water tank is empty, within a few hours, the entire content of the clean water tank leaks out into the charging base.
4. General Performance: The product has failed to perform its basic functions from day one.
Given these major defects, the machine is unfit for use. I am extremely disappointed with this purchase and expect a prompt resolution.

Extremely disappointed with the Proscenic Q8 and their customer service

My husband and I purchased a Proscenic Q8 for my mother-in-law, who is nearly 81 years old. We were able to set it up as a present for her, and it worked for about a day. After that, it began showing multiple malfunction errors. One of the main issues was a problem with the wheels, and the back section where the rubbish collects was not properly connected, which caused repeated errors. The machine frequently got stuck in corners and simply would not move.

We contacted the company requesting a refund, as it was clear the machine was faulty. However, they said we would need to pay for the return postage. This is completely unfair, as my mother-in-law cannot troubleshoot the machine, and the fault is clearly with the product.

Despite providing screenshots and demonstrating the problems, the company refused to provide the return address so we could send the machine back. We agreed to pay the return postage just to recover some of the cost, but even this simple request was denied.

We feel this is unreasonable behavior and will be raising a claim through PayPal, as the company seems unfamiliar with UK consumer rights. This experience has been frustrating and disappointing, especially given that the product was meant as a gift for an elderly family member.

Refusing to Repair and Partial Refund Offers – Very Disappointing

I am very disappointed with Proscenic’s handling of my two devices.

1. For the Amazon-purchased device, Proscenic is the manufacturer and therefore responsible for repairs. I already sent the device back (they even paid the postage), yet instead of fixing it, they claimed they had no inventory and refused to repair or replace it. This is completely unacceptable from a manufacturer.

2. For the device purchased directly from their official website, they only offered an 80% refund — which I find unreasonable and unfair.

I expect a full refund for both devices or a proper repair for the first one. Anything less is not acceptable.

Very disappointing customer service experience.

Proscenic M8 robot vacuum

We bought a Proscenic M8 robot vacuum three years ago, for almost Ca$600, through Amazon. No problem working for three years. Then we had problems with charging it, three years post purchase. We asked Proscenic support where to take it for repairs as no one in our community seems to do this. They don’t have an answer and they can’t do anything as the product is “discontinued”. I don’t think three years is long at all for a machine to fail and have no way to repair. Proscenic is not worth it at all!

Proscenic P11 mopping

I received the vacuum cleaner three days after placing the order. I already own two robot vacuums and I'm satisfied with their performance. I needed a portable and affordable vacuum, so I decided to go with the Proscenic P11 Mopping. After using it for a few days, I can confirm that I made the right choice. The vacuum operates quietly and cleans hard floors effectively. The mopping function is also satisfactory for my needs. I recommend this device.

Complaint: Lack of Spare Part Support for Proscenic M9 in South Africa

Dear Proscenic Customer Support / Retail Distributor,

I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding the Proscenic M9 robot vacuum, which I purchased in South Africa. While the product itself performs adequately, the after-sales support and spare parts availability in this region are completely unacceptable.

🚨 The core issues:

The product was marketed and sold in South Africa, but spare parts (specifically the 2-in-1 dustbin and water tank) are not available locally through any official channel.

Your official Proscenic online store does not ship to South Africa, despite listing the required parts as available.

No local distributor or repair agent appears to carry the correct replacement parts — including even common wear-and-tear items.

I have reached out and searched extensively, only to find vague "compatible" items for other models (like the M8 Pro), none guaranteed to work with the M9.

⚠️ Why this matters:

This is the equivalent of selling a smartphone without providing a compatible charger, screen replacement, or battery. Basic maintenance and part replacement is a consumer right, not an optional luxury. You are effectively selling a short-lifespan product with no path to long-term use, which borders on planned obsolescence.

💥 This is not just poor customer service — it's a breach of consumer trust.

Selling products in a market without establishing proper after-sales support or parts logistics is not only bad practice — it should be illegal. It puts the entire financial burden of maintenance on the customer and leaves us with an expensive device that becomes unusable once a single component fails.

⚖️ What I expect:

Clear confirmation of where and how I can purchase an official Proscenic M9 2-in-1 dustbin and water tank in South Africa.

If unavailable locally, I request international shipping from your official site or a forwarded purchase solution, with full transparency on costs and delivery.

If no solution is possible, I demand a formal acknowledgment of this support gap and request that you reconsider the ethical implications of continuing to sell unsupported devices in this region.

Please treat this matter with urgency. I would appreciate a response within 7 days.

Sincerely,

TitleDeceptive marketing – M7 Pro still sold as “smart” even though app has been deactivated

I purchased the Proscenic M7 Pro robot vacuum in June 2022, directly from Amazon, for a bit more than 200 euros. The robot worked well, but the app was poorly designed, hard to connect, and unreliable from the start.

A few days ago, I tried to reconnect the app to check battery status, map coverage, and accessory wear. That’s when I found out the app had been permanently disabled by the manufacturer. I contacted Proscenic and they confirmed it clearly:

“The app compatible with this machine is currently unavailable due to expiration of service.”

They also told me they haven’t sold or authorized this model for over 3 years and offered me a 20% discount on a new one.
➡️ But how can anyone trust a company that disables essential functions after just 3 years?
➡️ How could I possibly consider buying another product from a brand that treated its customers this way?

To make things worse:
🟥 The M7 Pro is still on sale on Amazon for 332 euros and advertised as “Wi-Fi connected”, “smart”, “Alexa-compatible”, which is completely false and misleading. Proscenic has made no public announcement about this change.

The vacuum still works with the remote, but half its value is gone without the app. It’s a classic case of planned obsolescence and a total lack of transparency.

❌ I will never buy from Proscenic again and I’ll warn as many people as possible.
Thank you to Simona from Amazon Support, who was kind and helpful — but powerless.

Terrible company to deal with

Terrible company to deal with. Purchased a spare battery for their model P-13 on 1/30/2025 off the Proscenic website.. Have not received yet. First they gave me a DHL tracking number them changed to a UPS tracking number. When I contacted UPS I was told the shipment was subject to a fraud investigation that prevented the battery's delivery. I asked for a refund from Proscenic but have been given the run around since making the request.

Bought a proscenic P12 cordless vacumn…

Bought a proscenic P12 cordless vacumn , used it for a couple of months then it just stopped working. Nothing comes on on the unit no lights. Had very little usage. Not impressed with the build quality at all. Avoid this cordless vacumn as not well made at all. Bought a Vax pet and car cordless which is absolutely brilliant in comparison. Well built and far more suction.

Do not provide warranty in reality.

The machine worked for more than 10 months. But when of it's bend pipe inside the roller head module failed , I tried to contact their support services for replacement as it is under warranty. But they flatly refused to give warranty and proposed me to purchase a new head assembly. Very frustrating experience. Finally they have proved that they are a Chinese brand and not reliable.

DO NOT BUY PROSCENIC. IT’S a SCAM! They USE PLANNED OBSOLESCENCE ON THEIR PRODUCT AFTER 3 years

I bought a robot cleaner model M6 PRO on 2021 November 27.

Everything was quite working till a few days ago.
The company decided to shut down the app to control the cleaner, forcing you to buy a newer one.
IT’S PLANNED OBSOLESCENCE!

I FRIENDLY RECOMMEND EVERYONE NOT TO BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! They want to Scam you!
Technical features and usage as average for the market. Except for a lot of issues with the cleaning map, with the consequence that the robot seems lost around the house it used to navigate till a few days before. To solve this issue it was necessary to create a new map and let the robot explore the house as a new one. Customer service never replied about this.

This is the service for Devices from their “premium” legacy, imagine how they can make last the “standard ones”.

Horrible customer service

Been waiting 7 weeks for a battery replacement for a vacuum. Item stuck in Woodridge Illinois for 16 days no movement. Sellers excuse Black Friday, delaying Customs because it was a battery. Keep telling me to wait a little longer. Was promised a refund not getting it I suspect the tracking is bogus as I know the company is.

We purchased a Proscenic X1 robot…

We purchased a Proscenic X1 robot vacuum last year but are unable to purchase either replacement dust bags or brushes. I did order a pack of bags directly from Proscenic, paid upfront but they never arrived. Proscenic have now disconnected their helpline and blocked emails. The telephone number is disconnected and I tried two of my email accounts, both blocked! They are quite frankly Con Artists!

Does Proscenic know the meaning of the word 'service'?

I bought an Proscenic T22 Air Fryer at Amazon.uk on June 24 2023.
Two weeks ago, the air fryer suddenly stopped working while frying potato wedges. I don't know why. I've checked the energy, looked at the printmap inside the fryer, I've let it cool down. Nothing helped, it doesn't work any more.
So I've tried to make contact with Proscenic from the supportpage of Amazon to learn if they are familiair with this problem. And hopefully have a solution. But I got no response at all, not even after a gentle reply after a few days.
If this is the kind of support Proscenic gives tot (international) customers, than I'm definitely not a fan. I won't buy again any product of Proscenic.
