Dear Roy,

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear about your concerns, and we take your experience seriously. We’d like to clarify that Protectionline operates with complete transparency and honesty, and it’s always our goal to provide clear communication about the steps and costs involved.

Please note that we never charge any fees until you have received your funds. Any transfers you may be required to make are between your accounts and are typically a requirement based on network conditions and regulatory guidelines, not a payment to Protectionline. These procedures are often set by external networks and regulators, and we work within those conditions to facilitate the recovery process.

If you have any further concerns, please reach out to our customer service team directly at claims@protectionline.net or through the contact details on our website so we can address your situation and assist you moving forward.

DONT TRUST THIS COMPANY

This is definitely a scam company they contacted me about my on line issues getting scammed out of $9000 I filled out the forms with the help of David walker this was the first red flag I asked for $250000 in compensation.
Got an email a week later stating that I had been approved for my refund, then I got a call from Oscar who talked me through the process and of course in order for me to get my money I had to send them $1400 of course I refused and blocked them DONT TRUST THIS COMPANY.

Dear John,

Thank you for your feedback, and we’re sorry to hear that you’ve had a negative experience — but we must clarify a few crucial facts, as your description does not align with how Protectionline operates.

First and foremost, Protectionline does not request any upfront fees, ever. We operate strictly on a no-win, no-fee basis. If anyone asked you for $1,400 as a condition to receive funds, that did not come from our team. It is unfortunately common in this space for bad actors to impersonate legitimate firms, and it seems that once you began your claim, you may have been contacted by a fraudulent third party posing as Protectionline or using familiar names to appear credible.

Let us also address a few specific points:

*David Walker and Oscar are indeed names of people on our team, but their communication will always come through verified company channels — and we never instruct clients to send money to unlock refunds.

*You mentioned that you submitted a claim for $250,000 in compensation after a $9,000 loss — while we aim to recover as much as possible, we are always transparent about realistic expectations and never promise inflated outcomes.

*If you were told you were “approved for a refund” within a week, and then asked for money to release it, that was not part of our process. This is a hallmark of recovery scam tactics, which we consistently warn clients about.

It’s unfortunate you had this experience, but it’s important to stress that Protectionline was not the source of the fee request, and we do not operate in the manner described in your review. We encourage you to check the contact details, emails, and phone numbers you engaged with, and we’d be more than willing to verify their authenticity.

If you're open to it, our team can help you identify who actually contacted you and potentially advise you on how to report them.

Sincerely,
David Thompson

I was approached by Protection line

I was approached by Protection line. Initially dealt with Victor then Michael Barclay took over my case. Unfortunately another staff called to inform me that Michael had a family tragedy. My recovered funds is now still sitting in a safeguard wallet since 3rd March 2025 which I dont have access to. I've been asked to send a link amount of $1500 which i don't have. It's supposed to be a no win no fee however I'm told that this is now a payment required by the regulator (no idea who they are) before my funds will be released. All this is misleading and it will be better to simply deduct whatever fee and release funds because victims of scam will not be able to trust any claim company who request for money before releasing funds.
I'm very disappointed as nobody has called me back to resolve after several days.

Dear Dee Bee,

Thank you for your message, and we’re truly sorry to hear that you feel disappointed. We would like to clarify a few important points, as there appears to be some serious confusion surrounding your case.

Firstly, we must state clearly that Protectionline does not request any upfront payments from our clients—we operate strictly on a no-win, no-fee basis. This is a fundamental part of our service, and it’s something we reiterate in all communication.

Regarding the $1500 payment you mentioned: this request did not come from Protectionline. It appears that after your case was put on hold due to the unfortunate personal situation involving one of our team members, you may have been contacted by a third party impersonating us or presenting themselves as being part of the process. We do not ask clients to pay any kind of “regulator” fee before funds are released—this is a known tactic used by fraudulent actors to take advantage of vulnerable individuals who have already been scammed.

We also want to highlight that the “safeguard wallet” you refer to is not something we operate or control. We never require clients to create or fund such wallets, and we do not hold recovered funds in third-party wallets awaiting payment.

Unfortunately, it seems you may have unknowingly communicated with or acted on instructions from an unauthorized source, and we urge you to review your recent emails, phone logs, or messages to determine the origin of this payment request. If you’re unsure, please forward those details to us immediately—we are happy to investigate and provide guidance on next steps.

We genuinely regret the stress this situation has caused, and we are committed to helping you clarify what has occurred. One of our senior team members will reach out directly to discuss this matter with you and help determine how best to move forward.

Thank you for your patience, and please rest assured we are taking this seriously.

Sincerely,
David Thompson

Feel Let Down by Protectionline

I contacted Protectionline and I was told to fill out the relevant information to see if I was to be accepted.
I was and given a gentleman called Oscar Crowe who would be my agent

He explained to me how things worked, and I explained to him what the Most Important Fact to me was ( No Win No Payment ) as due to the loss of money I had endured I was struggling.
In fairness Oscar kept me informed and things did look good to the point my funds had been found and Oscar explained how to put into my Wallet.
I was so excited till the crunch came that Oscar explained I had to find in GBP nearly £500 to activate the system and then guess what, it was explained to me it just wasn't enough so I paid more, I have been told by Oscar the money is still there with th other funds. But now I have been told Blockchain are requesting £3200 for it to be released.
I feel very let down by Protectionline as I constanly asked about was there any money required at all, I needed to find and I was told No.
So now I'm struggling with bills and when you're struggling with your health it realy gets to you.
I was informed by Oscar I could pay the money in increments to pay Blockchain, but I worry that's more money.

Edit

With regards to my experience with Protection line I was asked for money to pay by the agent twice, it apparently needs to be paid apparently to a company to set the system, but the money I paid out is still there it was not enough.
What I'm trying to say is from the beginning no money was mentioned at all to be found for whatever reason. Also Protectionline have contacted me to remove the review.

Dear Geraldine,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We genuinely regret to hear that you’re feeling let down, and we would like to clarify a few key points to ensure there is no misunderstanding about how our process works.

Firstly, we want to emphasize that at Protectionline, we do not charge any upfront fees to our clients—ever. This is one of our core principles and something we are fully transparent about from the very beginning of every case. We operate on a success-based model, and no payments are requested until the recovery is completed and documented.

In your case, we do see that Oscar provided clear guidance throughout and maintained regular communication. You were indeed accepted as a client and informed about the procedure, including the steps needed once funds are located. However, the payments you’ve described—particularly the amounts sent to “activate the system” or to “Blockchain”—were not requested or handled by Protectionline. We do not have access to or control over external wallet services or third-party providers that may have solicited these payments. Unfortunately, it appears that you may have unknowingly sent money to an unrelated, unauthorized third party, which we strongly advise against, especially after we had discussed the importance of caution.

Oscar did his best to support you and continued to advise you on the safest way forward, including his offer to break down the external request into increments, despite that not being part of our process. His intention was to help you avoid further financial distress while you explored your options, though again, these fees are outside our control and were not part of Protectionline’s service.

We completely understand your frustration, especially when facing financial and health-related challenges, and we deeply sympathize. However, we kindly ask you to review your communications and payment records, as none of those payments were made to Protectionline. We remain available to review your case again if you'd like us to investigate further or assist in reporting the unauthorized third party.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us directly—we are still here to help you however we can.

Sincerely,
David Thompson

I had high hopes when I reached out to Protectionline, but unfortunately, I was told that my case didn’t qualify for any compensation or refund. It was a bit frustrating, as I had invested a lot of time and effort into the process. I had a very disappointing experience with this company. Something about the website feels off — it's not as professional as I would expect, and the information provided seems inconsistent. After making my initial upfront payment, I received no further responses. Attempts to reach customer service went unanswered, and I couldn't find any credible information about the company elsewhere.

Edit: I have reached out to the property owner to verify that the location.
Edit2: The property owner has no record of this company.
