The music was fabulous, but everything else (apart from the Dogs Trust and Chapel Down))was rubbish
The music was sensational! Bronte Shande has to be heard to be believed. She was amazing. As for Alfie Boe, also amazing but he was clearly having a great time (and the Queen numbers were especially to my liking. And then Squeeze, whom I have never before seen live, absolutely fantastic. The rest of the event was terrible. I walked from St Albans cathedral down to the entrance in the park. There was not a single sign indicating where to go. I wondered if I had got the day wrong! At long last, I could hear that I was close to the event. But not that close - there was still a long way to walk to get to the entrance. Mr Kerridge, you have organised this at least 3 times before. Please, get your act together next time to help people with some signage.
