An unfortunate experience

Absolute time wasters.
I used to work for this agency from 2022 to 2023 and it was good. I wanted to return this year and unfortunately im not getting a good experience.
My consultant is jaya rawat and they have Absolutely no idea what they are doing. They tell me i have to pay for my DBS when it is with the update service ; i give them physical proof and it it still not enough. They kept harassing me every single day. Phone calls and emails which I have made screenshots as im considering reporting it. Exactly same email telling me I haven't done X Y and Z when I have done those things. Even when I told this consultant on multiple occasions I have done it, still telling me to do it. I have asked multiple occasions to change my consultant as it is evident this individual isnt looking at my profile properly and that request has been ignored. And to top it off they asked me to send over proof of a training session I did and I wasnt able to upload it as a certificate. They said thats Absolutely fine just send a screen shot. I have done so and now they are telling me to re do the course again as they can't accept screen shots only certificates?

PLEASE AVOID TIMEWASTING FRAUDS

How this company is even functioning is unknown to me. Absolute joke and time wasters. Signed up and attended training to be offered no shifts, everyone you speak tells you the people you need to talk to are on the phone.PLEASE AVOID, I'm genuinely concerned that these people have all of my personal information on file. Please save yourself time and energy. This company should be shut down immediately.

One star is a bit generous

One star is a bit generous. I never got any job. After 6 months of completion, my consultant changed 3x! On top of that they asked me to redo my DBS which was not even expired only to find out that they made a mistake but they do not admit to it saying it's the 3rd parties fault. I contacted the 3rd party and they said they can only ralk to Pulse and not me. I spoke to Abdul-Malik about it and said they are not going to refund me. They do not take accountability! On top of that they just keep saying use the Ipoint app for shifts which DOES NOT have anything. PLUS, they keep sending training reminders when I already accomplished them right from the beginning. And if you want a soft copy of your trainings, you have to pay £50! The additional trainings I had, they NEVER gave me my training certificates after! What a joke and a scam.

They only keep calling you to do the completion of your documents but after that you DON'T get any job at all. Also, their documents and training completion felt unending! Wasted my time and money!

Warning - fraud alert

Avoid working with this agency. The management will not support you and lack any understanding of their policies. They also take a large commission for any role they find for you. Warning, avoid at all costs, this company is a scam and fraudulent.

Terrible and disrespectful agency. They totally wasted my time .

Terrible and disrespectful agency. They wasted my valuable time. They do not understand that Gibraltrians are British Citizens. They kept asking me for a share code. I completed all my compliance documents and never heard from them again. It would have been prudent to at least get some kind of acknowledgement from Pulse.I advise you to do your research first.

This agency is an absolute joke and a…

This agency is an absolute joke and a total time waster. Even giving them one star feels far too much!

I applied for a specific position and I was clearly told I’d be getting homecare shifts in my local area, as this is what I was looking for. But during a two month registration process, my recruitment consultant changed three times and when I was nearly compliant I was told the post was no longer available but they would be willing to offer me a live-in post, which was absolutely not what I was looking for.

They rushed me through the onboarding process, urging to get everything done asap, paying attention to such a small details which sometimes felt really odd. But once I completed all the requirements, 8 months gone and I never heard back from them.

Worse still, whenever I called to follow up, I was made to feel like an intruder, as if my call was an inconvenience. They kept offering me live-in nurse roles or redirecting me to their app. And when I tried using their app, it was a complete joke, the same two or three clients kept appearing, usually 100 miles away, despite my selected distance being up to 50 miles. Even when I attempted to book a shift with one of them, I was told the client was in hospital and the shift wasn’t available and the other one been booked already.
After all my communication attempts they sent me a staff survey, which I completed honestly. A clinical lead called me afterward just to ask a few questions… and then nothing. No follow-up, no shift offers, no clarity.

If you’re serious about finding work in healthcare, do yourself a favour and avoid Pulse at all costs. They will waste your time, energy, and patience.

I' ve had the pleasure of working with my consultant, FASIEGA MOSES and I can confidently say that her support has been outstanding.
She has been incredibly efficient, always ensuring that every detail handled promptly and professionally.
She always keep me in the loop.
Her dedication has made a real difference in my experience with the agency and I truly appreciate the effort she put into interaction.

Greedy time wasters

Rushed through completing their compliance to be offered no work.
I practice in theatres and couldn't talk sense that I don't need food hygene training.
I have never seen any NHS trust requiring this level of nonsense .

They wouldn't bother to recognise my NHS compliance report.
I've attended a face to face sesion that was cancelled without letting me
I've heard excuse that I was informed it is a lie.
Also their hourly rates are worse then some from years ago or staff banks.
I've been offered no work Stay away They are time wasters and any reply on their behalf takes weeks
It's another greedy agency that has no clue what tailor compliance for area of practice means.
On manual handling they were teaching doctors how to a hoist.
Also a resus guy was giving wrong information about doing mouth to mouth that it's rescurer choice.

Highly NOT RECOMMEND …

I was working with Pulse with my curator Glen. It's hard to get any answers and support back from curators. Always challenge with payments, very rarely get paid on expected time. Bonus scheme to bring a friend, really, really hard to hunt your bonus, close to impossible. I know many colleagues who give up after a few attempts to get the bonus, they will find 100 reason do not pay you. More than a month after request, I still send an email to get my p45, but unfortunately, nothing happened.

Don't waste your time with this company

If there is an option of no stars, then that's how I would rate this company. They contacted me for a potential job. I did everything they wanted me to do. They don't follow up, and only talked to me when I called them. Would not even reply to emails. 6 months down the line, their contract with the hospital I was supposed to work for has ended, leaving me unable to start with the job they offered me to do. Apart from that, they required me to do their own elearnings which I did unpaid on my own time. Complete waste of time. Although, I think I dodged a bullet here because if their recruitment process is like this, I wonder how they treat their employees already working for them? No integrity at all.

slow, time wasters

They seem to get a lot of listings somehow but when it comes to actually getting you enrolled they're major time wasters. Very long winded and frustrating process compared to other agencies and communication is a mixed bag depending on who you're dealing with. I wont be using them again if I can help it.

Never started

Very slow process to start working. I have been waiting and waiting for months to start. I have given all the details, paper work to start but they never follow up with anything or get back to you. Wasted months!

These people are complete time-wasters

These people are complete time-wasters. I have been involved with them for a few years. Initially, they were all right but in the last year, I have had a terrible experience with them. They often undercut the rate that a consultant who called you to go to a job promised to pay. Now they still owe me hundreds of pounds of underpaid wages.
Secondly, these guys will worry their workers to update their training and that when you've done that, you will be given jobs. After you spend time doing all the training you never hear from them again.
Also, the complaint procedure is terrible. They never follow up on anything. You'd speak to someone on the phone, and they would say they could not do much to resolve the issue you called about. They would promise that someone would call you back to discuss the matter further, but that is always used to fob you off. Be careful when dealing with these guys, or try to look for another work agency. They're not an honest agency.
