AWESOME Pet Insurance
AWESOME Pet Insurance, I couldn't have chosen a better Pet Insurance for my adopted Shepherdore. It only took me less than 10 min to view the top 10 best pet insurance, to select Pumkin Pet Insurance, and I'm glad I did b/c, now that I've chosen Pumpkin Pet Insurance who have already reimbursed me for my pet's 1st routine vaccinations treatment, without any hassles, I notices other pet insurance may have good coverage regarding surgical procedures for pets, sadly and unfortunately many do not cover nor reimburse for routine care & vaccination treatment. Hands Down, as a first-time adult pet owner since having a dog & cat when I was a child, I will say, I did right for myself, and for my pet to choose Pumpkin Pet Insurance.

Pumpkin Insurance is a joke
Pumpkin Insurance is a joke! They used a single bought of loose stool my puppy had after his vaccines as a reason to deny his emergency bowl obstruction. They labeled it a "preexisting condition." Are you kidding me? They were charging me almost a hundred a month to cover absolutely nothing. Why even bother if I am just going to end up paying out of pocket anyway? Don't be conned by them. They are just as heartless and money grubbing as every other insurance company. They don't care about you or your pets wellbeing. This is about the bottom line and if they can find a loop hole to deny you, they will!

Hi Johanna, we definitely understand it can be frustrating when a claim is not approved. Like most providers, we do not provide coverage for pre-existing conditions. This means that if something occurs, or was showing signs or symptoms prior to enrollment or during the waiting period, it would not be eligible for coverage. This includes conditions that are related to, secondary, or resultant from a pre-existing condition. Once a claim is filed, it is then processed by a Pumpkin claims team member, all of which have a veterinary medical background. Our claims team uses medical records and documentation provided by your veterinarian in order to determine coverage eligibility. Keep in mind that while we may not be able to offer coverage for pre-existing issues, new unrelated accidents or illnesses may be eligible for coverage. If you need any further assistance, you can reach our care team by phone or chat during business hours, or email us anytime.

Very difficult and cumber son to submit my first reimbursement request. Phone call to your folks was not much help. Once I figured out how to submit a reimbursement payment was received within a few days.
