The gym is not that bad, but the biggest problem is, the one that make me change my old gym; that almost nobody put the dumbbell s back to the original place. I mean I don’t understand why the persona... See more

I was motivated to join Pure Gym because I have been physically active most of my ,young' life, but after having a child and now in my 30s, I don't like the way my body look and I needed something structured.
Romford Pure Gym has a team of excellence! They have a place for anyone, a plan for any goal, everything is very flexible! I am extremely satisfied with the entire team, but especially a big thanks for Emma, Owen and Joel- you make it all feel so much fun and I never get bored because I never know what's comming next.

The gym is fine but a little dirty when I was there. Fairly new but could use a few more key pieces of equipment(squat rack, leg machines, etc.) The layout and lighting at that particular location could be re-arranged to cultivate a better feng shui and overall vibe. Overall the gym is ok but a few key changes could really elevate the experience.

I was quite nervous to go gym. So I decided to get a PT to build my confidence up and to have someone to lead me as I wasn’t confident enough to go by myself and in what workouts to do. So I do say to those who are new to the gym and not so confident to definitely get a PT. I do recommend Alex who is mine, he was very welcoming from day one and has pushed me to always try my best and to never quit. I do look forward to my sessions with Alex, as I feel so accomplished and proud of myself afterwards because I know I’ve pushed myself to do my absolute best. After a few sessions with Alex I was confident enough to venture to the gym by myself, I’ve tried a class called combat which was lead by Emma and I can’t wait to try more classes as I really enjoyed it. From what I’ve experienced so far, it’s a welcoming environment and everyone is just focused on their own goals so you don’t feel judged or anything like that.

There was a used sanitary pad with bloody stuck to the mirror in the women’s changing rooms.
Apparently this has happened on a number of occasions and it’s faeces and used sanitary products.
What is being done to stop this? I am paying a monthly fee and don’t expect to see this in the toilet.

I was already on my way to the gym this morning when I received an email saying it was closed and as I live in romford I'm not travelling to Ilford or Beckton. I also have emotionally unstable personality disorder, depression, adhd and anger issues. This would be the sort of thing that would tip me over the edge.

It’s a nice gym with lots of equipment. However on my first visit there seemed to be no staff willing to be helpful. I navigated around and each machine had a diagram on how to use it so that was good.
Ended up cancelling after the first month because although membership was cheaper than a lot of places you have to pay to park and at a minimum of £3 a time it really wasn’t worth if

Went to the gym today to speak to the manager about a picture I wanted removed. She didn't bother coming to the door I was told to go in. When I did find her she was rude and spoke to me like she couldn't be bothered. Looks like I left at the right time the rudness is beyond disgusting
