Never again. Tiny and stressful car park. If you don’t want damage to your car, don’t park here

Parked at Carroll Key Cork. My god it’s tiny. I got a space pretty quick but there is not much room in between cars. I even had to hold door to let children out as was so tight both sides was afraid door would hit other car. On returning to car park, it was mayhem. It’s both sides for in and out of car park and because it’s tiny, there was a backlog of cars. Nobody could move. Then the corner you need to take to ticket machine was so tight. Was designed for mini coopers. Don’t need that stress in my life. Will be parking elsewhere

Do not leave your car there

Do not leave your car there. Website shows different opening hours. You end up in a locked car park and will have to pay extra to leave as they want you to quote your name when leaving but intercom is not working as car park is closed. Also payed 16 day pass online where inside car park it says 13.

Organised criminal activity

🚨DO NOT PARK WITH Q-PARK🚨
This company and its staff are complicit in organised crime. It is legitimately safer to park on-street. Leave your vehicle at your own peril!

Support from a dedicated employee

Our experience with your parking space was very supported. Dan from Q Park Christchurch was so helpful when I encountered a problem with a lost object. Although my item was not recovered, Dan did everything possible to find the object.

Parked in Irish Life Car Park Sept 8th…

Parked in Irish Life Car Park Sept 8th for concert in 3 Arena. Selected 6pm to midnight - was given a day pass up to 12.30am on Sept 9th. - took this that this was the time we had to be out. Returned to car park (us and about 25 others) to find Car park closed. Car Park closes early we were informed by "Customer Service" and best bet was to come back at 6.30am when it opens - leaving us on street at 11.30pm - with no place to stay - if car park isnt open for the hours requested when booking - booking should not be completed - a simple solution you would think! Lucky for us, we were able to contact the business Security Company who contacted their engineer who was able to come out around 1.30am and let us out - shame on Q Park

Horrible experience, avoid at all cost!

Horrible experience, parked our 3 motorbikes in the evening of the 11th of May at the Spire Q Park on Marlborough Street in the city centre of Dublin and next morning 2 out of the 3 bikes were stolen, even though we had them chained together and alarmed disc locks on the front wheels, all this in a “ secure car park” with cctv everywhere and a night guard on patrol, they couldn’t even give us an explanation for it which looks even more like an inside job.
Don’t leave any motorbikes in there as you might not find them again!

100% fail rate for Q-Park in Dublin

100% fail rate for Q-Park in Dublin
Booked while en-route to Dublin from Waterford as we did not want to risk not finding parking in the city on a Friday night. The smoothest part of the transaction was them taking the money (No surprise there)
Received a receipt and order confirmation. Arrived at the car park about an hour before our arrival.
On arrival we still had not received "an email with your booking details and important information."
Pushed button at the barrier for assistance and were advised to take a ticket and use our reference number on the way out.
3 hours later the only reference we had was the receipt number.
Agent could not use this to trace the payment.
Could not trace the order by my name as the payee, or car registration. Inferred that the payment had not gone through even though I had a receipt. At this stage we had nowhere to go but forwards as there were others behind us trying to leave.
I asked the agent to lift the barrier and sort it out later. He refused saying he was unable to do that. And continued with more questions which were not going to solve the problem. Eventually I advised him that if he didn't lift the barrier and stop impeding our progress that I would remove it.
Suddenly he was endowed with barrier lifting capabilities.
I followed up with an email of complaint which was answered saying that there may have been an issue with the confirmation email but in this case ANPR would read our Reg. but it was incorrectly inserted and offered me 10% Off a future booking. I asked what reg was entered and was advised
"the ANPR system was telling me “number plate not registered” which indicates the registration number on your vehicle doesn’t match up with the registration number placed on the booking."

So basically the agent is either being untruthful or the system is programmed to pass untruths to him.

At this point I insisted on an escalation and got a reply stating that there is no ANPR system at the car park we used and that this would be fed back to the agent.......(seems a bit late in the day for training)

Soon after I got an email stating that the entire amount would be refunded.

THEN I got an email to say the booking for the previous day WITH THE REFERENCE NUMBER would be cancelled.

TLDR: If you HAVE to use Q-Park Setanta contact them before arrival to get your reference number or cancel it as there is no ANPR system there and even if there was it would probably make no difference as the booking may or may not capture it correctly

Of note this is our second time using Q-park in Dublin the first time was not on point but a lot less stressful

Excellent service- very helpful attendant- Dan!
Pre paid bar code wouldn't scan. He was so polite, cheerful & obliging & sorted the problem promptly. He's a great ambassador for Q-Parking! Excellent customer service. Thank you Dan!
Would say though the
price of parking is very expensive.

The absolute worst place to park

The absolute worst place to park. DO NOT park with Q-park in Dublin. They work with third parties to provide discounts but they don’t work and your car is held hostage until you pay the exorbitant rate. Avoid avoid avoid! Their customer service is awful and refuse to refund me. Scammers!
