Chamonix actually terme- Visited here…

Chamonix actually terme- Visited here yesterday and can honestly say i would avoid and save your money. The facilities are dirty and smelly. We went in the sauna and steam room and it had an awful smell, like people have not taken a shower, very sweaty smell. Had a full day pass booked and only stayed for an hour before we left. There was lots of sand in the bottom of the pool i asked if this was normal and they said it was but unsure how bits of sand is normal in a pool? Showers blocked and clogged with hair so having to walk through the showers that have flooded full of dirty water🤢. Complained at reception and asked for a refund but she declined. I was told that the facilities were checked at 07:30 this morning and was fine- i complained at 11:30. I think they are nose blind because that was honestly disgusting! 1 star review for the view of the mountains from the pool because that was nice, please don’t waste your money here!!

Bitterly disappointed

Do not even attempt to go here if you are neurodivergent or disabled. No inclusivity here whatsoever.
Changing room are cramped and not built for wheelchair access. No room to swing a cat, get changed, shower or even open lockers due to the sheer amount of people they crammed in.
Rooms and pools were full to the brim, nowhere to hang robes unless you wanted to hang outside which then leaves them freezing cold. Due to nowhere to hang robes mine dropped on the floor, became soaking wet and I had the pleasure of having to pay to hire a new one 😡😡.
There are 3 of us ASD in our party. No space to decompress (even the quiet rooms) . My son had a meltdown whereby we wanted to make use of our ‘complimentary apperetif’ but was then politely declined as we hadn’t arrived at our allotted time. We then complained at the desk to be told this was ‘normal, standard’ practise. Shocking.
What was meant to be a relaxing, rejuvenating experience turned in to a stressful overstimulating one, whereby we left more stressed than when we arrived after laying over £300 for the experience, appalling.

Avoid QC Terme Chamonix

Avoid QC Terme Chamonix – Unhygienic and Mismanaged

I paid €150 for a spa experience at QC Terme in Chamonix and it was hands down the most unhygienic place I’ve ever been. The floors were covered in urine and matted hair, toilets left uncleaned, towels and robes thrown everywhere. Saunas were packed with men taking selfies, and couples were openly inappropriate in the pools. Vomit sat outside for four hours.

When I complained, other guests openly agreed — this was not an isolated incident. Management, including Director Michel DELLA MARIA, responded by saying no incidents matching my description were recorded, and blamed “peak holiday attendance.” This is unacceptable. I have photo and video evidence clearly showing the state of the facilities.

Complaining about paying for a service and not receiving it is not rude — I was polite and respectful at all times. The spa is clearly under-staffed, run down, and poorly managed. If this is how QC Terme operates, they should at least be honest about the hygiene and capacity issues.

Overall: avoid this place. Save your money, your health, and your sanity.

Great experience, I’ve been multiple times

How are reviews so low? QC terme know what they are doing and offer an amazing experience. It’s one of the best places to relax. Diversity of pools and experiences is very enjoyable. Food is great, locations are stunning. Included aperitivo is a great understated plus.

To Whom It May Concern,

To Whom It May Concern,
Visited the Spa on Governors Island
We were a group of 3! All coming from different areas in NY. While on our way to Governors Island, we were informed that one of the massages was canceled. When asked to speak with a Supervisor at that time, we were told that upon arrival we could speak to a supervisor. Remind you that Governors Island is a Ferry Ride to its location. When we arrived we were told by Alandra Mercado “Operations Manager” that the therapist who was assigned to our group had an emergency? They had no back up for that therapist or any for that matter. So all who were assigned to that therapist was cancelled for the day. This was a birthday group affair and it’s not acceptable that no back up was available when traveling from afar and had to take a ferry. As a supervisor or someone as a person in charge, Alondra was dismissive, condescending and was in no way accommodating. Offered nothing. She was pressed by the group and reluctantly offed a free spa day for the person who would not receive the massage. Alondra Mercado was so off putting that I wouldn't event rate her!. Totally disappointed by the entire experience and lack of customer service and disregard for travel to the area was unacceptable.

worst service ever

Without doubt one of the worst service standards l have ever experienced. If there was a score lower than zero it would be too good

My partner and l had booked in for a couples relaxing massage. The masseurs were good. The banging and smashing from the small army of repairers was not. Power tools, hammers, you name it. Even the masseurs were embarrassed.

But that was just the start!. About 10 minutes after our massage we are on our way to one of the pools. A QC Terme male staff member comes up to my partner and tells her she will have to leave the premises. Originally no explanation but then he says her bathing costume does not comply with French law, "it is illegal ". The issue. Her bathing pants (slim fitting) went just below her knee. Mon dieu, disgusting, clearly a problem of major importance. After a brief but heated argument, l suggest what happens if she rolls her bathers above the knee. "Ah well this is not a problem then, she can stay".

The pressure was too much for my partner, so we ask for a refund for the day spa (not the massage). No, this is not possible.

I have read the quirky French laws on bathing costumes. Notwithstanding the stupid French law, it does not apply to private companies.

QC Terme, you should be ashamed that you allow such pathetic standards of service to exist.

Islamophobia is a form of…

Islamophobia is a form of discrimination that should not be tolerated, and to exacerbate the situation, some individuals are also racist. It's operated by those who have forgotten that one God created the entire world, including all humans, yet they feel entitled to judge others unfairly. It's disheartening to see how people have lost sight of empathy and become self-centered and delusional.

Visted the spa in Milan ; never again

Okay, so I was so looking forward to going to this place. Let me start by saying facilty is lovely, however, it is full of young social media influencers and those who live their life totally on social media, and want to capture everything with their phones. Guest should be allowed to relax here, without being concerned that their images may appear on a stranger's IG story etc.. I was shocked to see the guests with phones in the therma pools and indoor pools. Also, guest can only visit the dining area for 40 mins, and after that time a man physically walks over and tells you to leave. The locker rooms are more like over crowded high school locker rooms. This place does not provide the luxury experience I am accustomed to. It is pointless to have security around as there were couples next to us in the therma pools pretty much making out, and nothing was said to them. Lastly, I caught a fungal infection from the slippers, so if you decide to visit take your own slippers.

Don't waste your time or money

I am extremely disappointed and frustrated by the subpar customer service I encountered at the QC Terme spa in Chamonix. The reception staff were outright rude, making us feel unwelcome and as if we were a burden to them. There are numerous better spas out there, so don't waste your time and money on this disappointing establishment.

I highly doubt I'll be returning. It's a real shame, given that I live in Chamonix and would have been a frequent customer. My disappointment is profound, and I hope others can avoid the same experience.

I have been to other QC Termes, one excellent one in Courmayeur where I had a very nice experience, but unfortunately this experience has changed my view of them as a whole.
