We had the misfortune of having Quality Solicitors Gould and Swayne involved in our house move chain, quality what a joke! Their incompetence and lack of communication caused at best months of unnecessary delays, causing stress and upset to all involved, dealing with one issue at a time and not looking at the whole picture, infuriating

APPALLING!

APPALLING!
The only reason, only reason, I have given one star instead of ZERO is because when ever I have called these solicitors, the Paralegal has always taken my call. She has always listened to me, and apparently so she told me, took notes. Well done there.

However I have a matter which required urgent consideration for possible Legal Aid funding, concerning a potential criminal Appeal. When ever I chased for a response I was told, she (the Paralegal) had to speak with a solicitor, and he was always at the Police station assisting with those under arrest.

the last time I chased was in January 2026. I have NEVER had any response from these people. I feel bitterly disappointed, that this has caused me so much extreme stress and literally waiting and waiting yet NOTHING happens.

In general I find many solicitors willing to take on clients but nothing really happens, and the client has to unfortunately keep pushing and pushing. The end result can often be, when IF the matter gets to Court, the Judiciary can say, too much time has passed, this is not in the public interest to continue with the case, and the court simply drop it. Who’s fault is that?

Unheard, dismissed

I contacted this company on the 2/10/2025 looking to be put in touch with a local solicitor. I provided all my details and was asked for an overview of the circumstances. I was abruptly interrupted and told I 'provided enough' information. I felt dismissed and unheard. I told the initial call handler there is more information about two others incidents. The subject matter at hand is quite distressing for me. She said not to bother as I could discuss that with a solicitor. I was told a local solicitor would make contact within 48 hours which never happened. Not worth using this service. I have also attempted to review the service online directly on the website but not able to submit anything.

Quality Solicitors Parkinson Wright…

Quality Solicitors Parkinson Wright Evesham

I've dealt with this company for nearly 20 years, referring all my clients there, plus friends and relatives. However in the last 6 months they have become the most arrogant and ignorant company I've ever dealt with.
Called them 3 times, nobody ever gets back to you
Sent emails and had the most insulting responses
Last straw was from the head of the conveyancing department asking me to send her my number, which she knows and I've had for 23 years and she will call me back. Claiming never recieved any of my messages
It's no wonder agents and financial advisors no longer want to deal with them

Avoid at all cost

Poor Quality Solicitors!

Poor Quality Solicitors!
Absolutely disgraceful, unprofessional, verging on deceitful. They act in a clandestine way and are incapable of transparency. Looking at the other reviews they really are a shower. My and me father used Ms Jean Newton twenty years ago and she was fantastic, now they employe eastern europeans, whose ethics and behaviour are definitely not what I expected, having a huge lacking of British knowledge, professionalism and etiquette.
It’s a shame how a reputable business can be turned into this, it’s very sad.

Completely incompetent. So slow almost in rewind. Didn't even start searches until 2 months into the conveyancing process. Does not respond to calls or emails.

Avoid - Slow & Incompetent

Portsmouth - I had a very negative experience with Georgina Pickering. She took over from who I originally instructed and was slow, rude and overzealous with money laundering checks. We were first time buyers who were purchasing the house we were renting from our landlord; this should have been a straightforward process but unfortunately not with Georgina overseeing it. To start, she did not send over our searches and other documents until I contacted her, even though they had sat with the firm for a couple of weeks. She left emails unacknowledged and unanswered for a week, even for very simple queries. She would sometimes answer some queries but ignore others and then would bring up the issue at a later date, which would slow down the process further. When I eventually got her on the phone she was rude and at times insinuated we had not eared our money legitimately (I have a full time salary and pay slips to prove otherwise). She went through our finances with a fine tooth comb, questioning every single thing, including our 'round-ups' that were going to our savings account; insisting she needed to see bank cards to prove that is what the transactions (which were in the pennies) were. She also gave unclear instructions and even when challenged she could not understand this. She took all the fun out of the process and turned it in to an extremely stressful situation for us unnecessarily. We ended up dreading every interaction with her and I even had to formally complain to her regarding her incompetence. If she is given your case, I would ask to change to someone else.

Incompetent beyond belief

Incompetent beyond belief. Don’t adhere to their own SLAs, never respond to follow up emails. As for calling. Forget that! They either hang up or put you in an option loop.

AVOID LIKE A PLAGUE!!

AVOID LIKE A PLAGUE!!! The conveyancer I had misfortune to work with was Nisha Keinth. Because of her incompetence, ignorance and irresponsibility I lost a property after 5 months of pain and only 2 days before the supposed contract exchange. She not only ignored my emails and phone calls, but did so with the email and phone calls of my Seller's Solicitor. The whole office is a bunch of useless people, as I have called the office many times, left countless voice mails, messages, emails and no-one ever got back to me. AVOID< AVID< AVOID!!!

Dreadful service

Dreadful service. Solicitors got my completion statement wrong without me knowing. 2 months after completion they have sent pressing messages hounding me for money when I had paid everything on my completion statement. It was there gross incompetence that caused this yet have taken no responsibility or liability. NEVER answer the phone. Would not recommend under any circumstances.

Nearly lost our house

Their incompetence nearly resulted in us not completing on our house. They lacked knowledge, communication and professional advice which we expected due to paying them for it. They asked for significant documents on the day they needed it, expected us to leave work to transfer money or paperwork and failed to inform us of our Help to Buy, resulting in a loss of over £2,000. The whole process was incredibly stressful, with the people in the chain attempting to pull out due to lack of clarity and communication. Avoid at all costs. There are plenty of other companies which can be trusted.

Unprofessional QS Davisons

In May 2021 I completed the purchase of a house with this firm recommended via the estate. Do not use them. Their phone lines voice boxes were full. The communication was awful. Their process is unprofessional and they will find any excuse not to take the blame. I was sent contracts to sign on paper that contained spelling mistakes and was printed on letterhead making text unreadable. I was assured upon a mispayment I would not be charged for it but when I received my refund a £20 charge was removed causing me time and hassel to chase them up. Strangely only after I complained did I find that the office had proper phone lines and boxes and they seemed more eager to take my call. Do not use.

Uncommunicative and not proactive

We've just moved with the Nottingham branch and our experience was frankly poor. Communication was not always forthcoming and we had to chase at pretty much every step. Documents that had been received by them weren't shared in a timely manner.

Would really have liked a better experience.

Shocking service

I was trying to sell my property and was given Davisons Law from Connells to use as my vendors. What shocking service i received from start, i was chasing and chasing nothing constructive came of it. I wasted lots of my own time trying to get the information for the sale of the property. In the end the buyers pulled out and Davisons sent me an invoice. I lost 12 months rent and had to pay 1 years full council tax. In my humble opinion shocking service and to send me an invoice even though the apartment wasn't sold.

Highly Recommended

We were recommended by a friend to these Solicitors and can honestly say that Tracy Wood and her paralegal Sue Smith we’re excellent most things went through without a hitch but when there was a problem they worked like beavers to get it all sorted out both were very professional and always available when needed. Highly Recommended. Anne & Keith

I'm very happy with my experience

I'm very happy with my experience, Quality Solicitors in Edgbaston were absolutely brilliant and always on hand to help with any queries and concerns. My Solicitors were Dominic and Darshna who were always very polite and professional and more importantly got the deal done given all the constraints! I would highly recommend Quality Solicitors.

Avoid- Poor Service

I wish I have never been introduced to this firm. We bought our house in July last year and we had multiple issues with this firm, poor communication, missing things, taking actions without authorisation ending up missing around £10,000 they paid to the lender when they didn’t have to and then trying to get the money back causing us renovations delays as that money was plant to be spend elsewhere.

Why leaving a review now? I thought giving them the benefit of the doubt due to the stamp duty holiday at the time, but I just found out that they never filed the registration form to the land registry and our home is still registered to the old owners.

It has been now over a week and multiple phone calls took place trying to speak to someone to sort it out, but I keep not getting anyone to ring me. The poor experience continues a year later.
