This has been the worst car rental…

This has been the worst car rental experience I have ever had.

They keep customers’ security deposits for months after the vehicle is returned. Whenever you call to follow up, they either do not respond or provide different excuses instead of resolving the issue.

It has been more than two months since I returned the car, and I still have not received my security deposit.

I would not recommend renting from this company. Their customer service is very poor, communication is unprofessional, and the management appears to be ineffective

The onboarding experience was actually…

The onboarding experience was actually simple, smooth, and efficient. Everything went well initially, which makes the current situation even more disappointing.

The only issue that has negatively impacted my overall experience is the handling of the security deposit refund. Despite several follow-ups, I have received no meaningful update, timeline, or response regarding its return.

Had there been clear communication, this matter could have been resolved easily. Instead, the lack of information left me with no choice but to escalate the issue to Dubai Consumer Rights.

I hope this situation is resolved quickly, as it is currently the only thing overshadowing an otherwise positive customer experience.

Worst company

Worst company, they dont want refund your deposit you will chase them and audacity of there team they will be so rude on call, not recommend at all please beware of such scammer company, receiving my refund after almost 1.5 month after chasing day and night.

Holding Security Deposit Illegally – Avoid Quick Drive

Avoid Quick Drive Rent A Car at all costs. I rented a vehicle (Rental Voucher: D012233652) and have been fighting to get my security deposit of 1,379.72 AED refunded.

It has been months since the car was returned perfectly on time with no damages or fines. I have called weekly and repeatedly messaged their Accounts & Finance team via WhatsApp. Their team explicitly promised me the refund over text, but they have now completely stopped responding and ghosted all my communication.

This is a direct violation of Dubai consumer protection laws, which mandate deposit returns within 30 days. Since the company refuses to communicate or return my money, I am filing a formal complaint with the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) Consumer Protection division today. Do not trust this company with your money.

The worst company to deal with

The worst company to deal with, they are not helpful in case if you have any accidents, you can call them 1000 times no one is answering.

Instead of paying parking fine 170 aed, I end up paying 208 AED bcs of their admin fee( which is only scam to make extra money from customers) instead of saying to pay on parkin app.

Absolutely disaster.

Refund missing. Communication is now dead

i have been waiting for my refund of the deposit since the 17th of march and i am now starting to believe that they are just going to keep it.

last contact was on march 18th and both the service department and the financial department has now stopped responding.

Stay away from quickdrive unless you are willing to pay almost 50% more than you originally expected, due to lost deposit

Deposit back

I rented several times with them and i m waiting for my deposit since 18 of December 2025.
I have made many requests and now I’m forced to report this behavior here to have my deposit back.
I’m waiting for my money asap,

What could have been 5 stars is now 1 star for unprofessional experience

After returning the car 3rd of February and contact with both booking team and refund team, after 40 days as instructed by both driver and booking team, I have yet to recieve my refund. No confirmation has been issued, only transaction information. No authorizer confirmation yet. International transaction taked 2-5 business days not 2 weeks - the same with the first time I contacted when the amount was incorrect took 3 weeks still no money or reply. Also You have made the mistake by charging me twice for the car when I already paid for it. I understand that with the current situation it can take time, but to not answer is very unprofessional for a company that prides itself with its' 10 years experience. And to blame Whatsapp not working, when it is the only way to contact as emails do not get answered either is not the way to do honest business. I have receipts for everything so do not try to blame me for any wrongdoing as I have seen You do that with others in reviews.

It's been a month and a half since I…

It's been a month and a half since I returned the car, and I still haven't received my deposit back. The deposit was supposed to be returned within a month. The company doesn't respond to messages. The rental experience itself was good, when I returned the car, the person said everything was fine, but I still don't have my money.

Before using Quick Drive Rent services assume that you will not get your deposit back

Sadly I have read reviews only after Quick Drive team started to avoid my messages and play that everything is fine.

I have rented a car which was ok. The vehicle was picked up on 2026-01-22. Leaving car was also with no issues which was on 2026-01-27. Before leaving car I have asked when deposit (1000 AED) will be refunded and got answer that it will be transfer to my bank in 25 days. After term passed, avoidance started.

First they have moved me to +971 50 899 4892, and after ignorance and useless promises they even shared screenshot that deposit was refunded to my bank account. However, in reality it never came. When I reached them again, they promised to transfer my dispute to manager and check with a bank. They are still checking...

Update after company response 2026-04-07: Quick drive confirmed that refund amount amount is aed 902.35 after deducting pending salik and according them transaction was processed, however 30 days passed from car return, deadline was Feb 26, 2026, today is April 7, 2026, which is 40 days late from deadline. Still no communication from QuickDrive team, no refund in my bank account and no explanation what is wrong or when I will get refund back to my bank account.

As per our records, you returned the vehicle on 27/01/2026, and according to our company policy, deposit refunds are processed after 25–30 days, subject to verification of Salik (toll charges), traffic fines, and system checks.

Regarding the screenshot shared with you, please note that once the transfer is initiated from our side, the reflection of funds depends on bank processing times, and in some cases it may take longer than expected. This does not mean the refund was not processed.

We sincerely apologize if you experienced delays in communication or unclear updates. This is not the level of service we aim to provide, and we are actively working to improve coordination between our teams.

No refund of security deposit

I booked a car from 30/Dec/2025 till 31/Jan/2026 using DiscoverCar.com. I have been following up with them since 21/Feb/2026 for refund of security deposit.
After repeated follow ups and reminders on WhatsApp and Phone calls, one of the person took my bank details and said it will be processed in 24 hours on 04/March/2026. However, I haven't received refund yet. I have provided my UAE local bank account and transfer should not take more than 4-5 hours to process.
These guys are pathetic and cheaters. Never book with them. I wish I had read reviews before booking with them.
