We're just back from our second trip in Little Puffin through Quirky Campers and have had an amazing trip. We were so comfortable and had no problem navigating some of the more challenging roads we drove on. We thought Little Puffin was perfect last year but Tracey & Bruce have made some improvements that really do enhance the campervanning experience. We had the full range of Scottish weather and had everything we needed to be comfortable whatever the weather! As we found last year, Tracey and Bruce were so incredibly helpful with tips and advice to make sure you really get the most out of your trip and where's good to visit. We're already planning next year's trip!
Our first campervan adventure was great apart from some of the Devon weather! LAGO is a cool looking van, and was ideal for a short first trip for us, easy to drive and to manage all the fixtures, fittings and accessories. The van was immaculate when we collected him, and Carrie took time to explain everything and answer our "newbie" questions. I'm sure well be back for more.
Very easy booking and team very helpful with queries. Prompt replies too!

We hired Everest from Bristol. Lovely van and friendly couple. All in good condition, well equipped and good value. Airport pickup / drop off was a welcome bonus. Wholeheartedly recommend.

I tried to sell my campervan on quirky campers and I would be interested to know if anybody actually sells their vans on the platform… spent considerable amount of money to advertise and had next to no interest in it despite our van being considerably cheaper and in better condition than some of the vans of similar mileage and age.
Listed on gumtree for free and sold within a week with lots of messages from people interested! Save yourself the advertising money and just put it on gumtree instead
Had a wonderful time in the perfectly put together May across the Somerset countryside. All the conveniences you could need and smooth comfortable ride. The bed was a titch short for my 6'6 partner, but it just made it cozier! And do plan your trip to consider the roof height as it's above the height limit of some parking lots- easy enough to sort with a quick AI search. Would highly recommend a quirky adventure with May!
Bluebelle was absolutely brilliant and made our Shindig Festival weekend so comfortable. We were two adults and two children, and there was plenty of space for all of us.
You can tell a huge amount of thought has gone into every detail. We loved the clever pump sink, and were amazed at how long the water lasted. There were so many thoughtful touches throughout the van, including the magnetic picture that transforms into a blind, which we thought was such a lovely idea.
The bed over the cab was fantastic and really helped maximise the space. We didn't get a chance to use the stove because we were lucky enough to have a heatwave, but it would make Bluebelle incredibly cosy on cooler evenings.
Despite the hot weather, we stayed cool and comfortable throughout our trip. Everything was clean, well organised and easy to use.
Bluebelle is a beautiful campervan, full of character and practical features. We'd happily hire her again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable campervan adventure.

Booking was cancelled 2 weeks before we were due to leave. No explanation. No apology. No other suitable vehicles available. All our sites were booked and paid for in readiness. Would not recommend

Willow is a well-kitted out, easy to use, comfortable van. The owners are flexible and kind and have thought of everything! It is truly one of the best out there and the pick up was one of the easiest ever owing to the informational video they’ve put together for viewing at your leisure. Have used several times now and will go back again!
Had a wonderful trip in Misty - hosts were responsive and helpful. Camper well set up - a joyful few days.

We have camped for 40 years but decided we needed to upgrade a bit so after a lot of searching decided on Auri, it looked lovely and the pick up was fairly local. Kelvin & Wee were so lovely and along with their little chief engineer introduced us to everything clearly. The van has everything you need including a cafetière and corkscrew so with the essentials in place we set off. We drove down to the new forest, very quickly getting the hang of it, you really wouldn’t know you were in something so big because it’s smooth and comfortable. Setting up the awning etc was easy. The van is decorated in lovely muted tones so has a beautifully calm atmosphere we sat outside till way after sunset and then had the best nights sleep, the bed is better than ours at home! AND good pillows, so often lacking. We spent 4 days touring Wiltshire stopping at 2 beautiful sites ( Aldridge hill and Martha’s down) Aldridge had no facilities so we used the onboard shower etc, Martha’s down was absolutely beautiful. Being able to leave the back door open all night was a real treat in the heat. The journey home on the M3 was smooth, the van is great to drive. We have never taken so little equipment away, because Auri had everything we needed. For 4 days and a fair bit of driving we used tank and a quarter of diesel which was about £140. Worth it. We would both highly recommend Auri, it’s comfortable, relaxing and an easy drive. The booking was easy, Kelvin and Wee an absolute delight, if you’re in any doubt go for it you really won’t regret it.

A wonderful short break in Clover with our two dogs. Clover provided all we needed for our break in the Lorna Doone valley on Exmoor in the late spring sunshine.
Daryl and Holly were great hosts, great communication from beginning to end and a very easy pickup and return. Daryl took us through all we needed to know about Clover and was happy to answer all our questions.
Clover is a beautifully crafted and comfortable conversion, it is obvious how passionate Daryl is about making Van life something to enjoy. Of all the vans we have hired this was by far the quietest one on the road.
A joy from first contact to returning Clover, we thoroughly recommend Daryl, Holly and of course Clover.

We had a fabulous trip in Bumble, we did a mini road trip in cornwall, ending at a festival! Everything was great, good communication, smooth booking process, lots of info regarding Bumble and all well explained. There is everything you can possibly need for a campervan trip contained in the van plus the bonus of having lots of solar power. We were away 8 nights and had plenty of power without ever needing EHU, charging 2 phones and cooking daily.
The van has been very cleverly designed and had lots of van admirers on our trip. Bumble is also easy to drive. Will definitely be booking again

Use this company at your peril, booked and paid for a camper van for four days and left £500 deposit, two days prior to picking up the camper van I was informed that the van had a mechanical problem and could not be rented out, and was offered a full refund.
However, any monies pay out for campsite bookings ferry crossings or any other expenses you have paid out you will not get back only your deposit and payment for the campervan.
Customer service, very poor not even a telephone number on their website and they’re not open on a weekend, I am out of pocket by £150 for my bookings and they will not reimburse you, even though they cancelled the contract, however if you were to cancel the contract two days before you would forfeit all your monies paid, which I find disgraceful.
So if you wish to hire a campervan, use a reputable company and not backstreet company like quirky campus.

Wonderful time away the 4 of us in this great quirky camper.
Very comfy sleep and our young daughter's enjoyed sleeping in the pop top.

This company has looked after me since my first conversion 3 years ago. I value having a UK-based human contact; that is what you can expect with Quirky. I wouldn't consider moving elsewhere. Between the 2 of us, I have been able to slowly grow my business with good quality clientele. I have had issues with damage and cancellations over the years, but as we continue to evolve as owners and agents, we're improving and streamlining our problem-solving. The company is staffed by people who own their own vans; they genuinely understand the difficulties owners face. They also sympathise with clients who have unusual requirements. You can book a Quirky camper with confidence that everyone you deal with will endeavour to support the most sacred of all experiences: the holiday!

Our experience so far with Quirky Campers as new campervan owners has been superb. Our point of contact and Owner Champion Sherel has been exceptional - her warmth, support, advice and expertise has been faultless, giving us 100% faith in the process of hiring out our campervan. Nothing has been too much trouble and she has made what could have been a daunting process extremely efficient and fulfilling. Highly recommend.

We had an absolute blast travelling the Highlands of Scotland.
We were off grid the whole week, managing to find places to park up with magnificent views of mountains, forests or Lochs.
Rue was a pleasure to call home for the week, such great amenities, so warm! and very comfortable.
Cooked dinner and breakfast every day, and we managed to cram a week's worth of food (meat and veg) into the fridge, which has a small freezer compartment which is where we stored the meat.
We chose to have the toilet as well which was a good call for being off grid. Was super easy to use and we found a place to empty the chemical waste, and full up the fresh water tank, for free!
Will definitely use Rue again, as we want to do the trip again to different parts of the Highlands and some of the isles.
