I bought some light bulbs from QVS, and they looked really good, but I got the wrong ones. When I called the Bromley store to inform them of the problem, the chap was very helpful and knowledgeable, he told me which ones I needed. I was able to take the old ones back and get the correct bulbs. In hindsight, I should have spoken to them first and avoided the problem. Great customer service, great staff and lovely bulbs. Would highly recommend these guys!

QVS sent the wrong item and then totally ignored me instead of correcting their error - I am now out of pocket, with a cheap and useless product, and somehow QVS have managed to contact PAYPAL to make it seem like my fault.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS BUSINESS OR ANY OTHER IN THE RYNESS GROUP.

Terrible customer service, I ordered two outside lights a month ago, wrong ones have been sent. I have sent a email 3 weeks ago and still no reply. Last week I spoke to Steve who said he will send out the correct lights. Still not received them. Spoke to James and Craig today who said I have to send the lights back that where sent by them incorrectly and once received will then send out the lights I ordered over a month ago. You couldn’t make it up!
Is William Rushford still running this company.....not much longer by the look of your reviews.

I ordered a computer and had expedited delivery. The payment was taken out of my bank and then come to find out the day it was supposed to be delivered the order was cancelled. Money still hasn’t been returned. I called customer service twice and both told me a totally different reason why it was cancelled. Neither made sense. The First Lady said my billing information was wrong but they still took the money and then the second lady said that it was cancelled because the company doesn’t allow first time customers to make big purchases you have to have a history with the company as a customer but once I told her what the First Lady said she changed it and said ohh yeah she seen that on her screen. A whole bunch of lies!! Now I’ve been on hold for 30 to 45 minutes for another department.

The best customer service I have ever received.
Always a useful store for DIY and trade electrical parts - used regularly without issue.
I have used QVS quite often in the past. The issues then were whether an item was in stock, often it wasn't and occasional poor customer service. Now it is pricing, they are no longer competitive. In under a year, the items I have just bought have gone up by circa 60%. Extremely disappointing and I shall go elsewhere in future.

I ordered something last week, they said it would be delivered in 1-2 days. I still haven't received it. NOBODY answers the telephone, I had ZERO status as to the whereabouts of a product I spent £600 on. I think they are selling products that are out of stock on their website, which I feel is unethical. They are simply not delivering on their promise. Very disappointed.

I wouldn't use QVS direct again ever. Over 5 weeks to send goods which should have been with me within 2 to 5 days. Was dealing with customer service who wasn't getting back to me or when they did wasn't very helpful. Wrong product that I asked customer services to check for me as I was waiting so long, but they didn't. Ordered twice by mistake as first order didn't seem to go through but did. I am now on 15 emails and about to go through PayPal to try and get this finished. Very unhappy with this company.
They are selling out of stock products on their websites! They said it's one day delivery and it has been a week still not received any progression. I called the customer service and they said will be delivered "tomorrow" by DPD which I never received any DPD delivery confirmation at all. I tried to call again the customer service on the next day and could not even reach "real person" again. I emailed them and no response at all...!!!
This is not even 1 star, if I could give MINUS Stars on this review will be great!

I have subsequently called the customer service line a number of times and have been told that I will be getting a refund as they are out of stock. This was yesterday, 31/07/2018, and I still haven't had any confirmation follow up to this.
I have also sent an email to the customer service email and have had no response from them either.
I do not want to put any personal details on here but if you could provide me with a way to contact you directly that would be great.

The QVS webpage detailing the product I ordered proved to contain inaccurate information (still not corrected at the time of writing this post) rendering the item unsuitable for my purpose. QVS agreed that this was the case and refunded the cost of the item and the initial carriage charge. The telesales person advised me to write to his line manager in order to secure refund of the cost of the return carriage (£13.14). This manager has ignored repeated emails and needless to say no such refund has been made. I certainly wont use this firm again and have advised all my contacts not to do so either.

Another unhappy customer.
Bought something on the promise of next day delivery. No indication whatsoever that it wasn't in stock. No communication at all as I sat waiting for item to arrive next day.
Seriously how hard is it to set up auto emailing for customers in this situation?? Clearly a chaotic, disorganised company that doesn't care about customers.
Still waiting a week later, despite promises it would be delivered today - I would ask them on the phone, but you can't actually speak to a human and the horrific call waiting system is set up so badly it drives you insane.
More proof of utter incompetence.

I am waiting (10 days) for a refund of nearly £800 for a unit I have not received. I ordered the unit from Amazon (who messed up delivery times it must be said) and thought I was ordering from 'Electrical Supplies Direct' on Amazon, but which is I now discover QVS Direct...as are the AIR CON HUT...such transparency. I have been patient, accepting that it may take a few days to sort the refund out, but now contacting QVS by phone I have been cut off twice, told that the contact I was dealing with, is on holiday and that no one is available to help. I have now been promised someone will call me back, so will update here when / if that happens. ***I am really, really tired of companies playing God with customers' money. ***
UPDATE: I received a refund by opening a case with Amazon, despite Amazon encouraging me to contact the company directly.
If you want to get messed around and not receive your money back then QVS/ Ryness are the company.
Similar to one other gentleman on here, I also ordered a number of consumer units that were incomplete and had to wait two weeks before receiving anything.
The unit were sent back to Ryness / QVS. To date I am 154 pounds out pocket and have NO goods. I have emailed 5 times and phoned on 4 occasions all giving false promises.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU ARE HAPPY TO LOSE YOUR MONEY.
Currently seeking legal advice and will keep those interested informed.

Ordered a consumer unit on the 2nd of June, marked as in stock, I received no email conformation when I made the order.
Phoned them a few days later to be told they were waiting for fuses.
I refused to accept the item when it finally arrived on the 28th June three and half weeks late.
In all this time there has been no communication from QVS no offer of a refund, no emails, no phone call nothing.
I have ordered two times from QVS both have gone wrong.

Ordered a Thermotouch 7.6cg wireless underfloor heating thermostat which arrived in reasonable time. Fitted the tiles over the underfloor heating and the temperature thermostat. Currently waiting for the required setting/drying time so decided to open the manual and begin the wireless pairing to the control unit. It was not until I downloaded the app to connect my phone to the thermostat that I was informed by a small footer text that the WiFi would only work on a certain frequency rendering the whole thing useless. SKY Q routers are on a totally different frequency. Nowhere in the retailers product description or the manufacturers documentation is this crucial fact mentioned. Next stop trading standards and small claims court! Someone will be lying to remove my £1500 tiles floor and relaying it!
