What made it a 5? In a word, HELEN. Helen made it great. I've gone on many Rabbies Tours and all have been wonderful. But, the ones with Helen Sims have been truly special. SHE makes the whole experience unforgettable.

Mark was very knowledgeable about Scottish and English history. He explained things so well and we enjoyed listening to his perspective. He was a great tour leader and our accommodations in Portree were perfect. A billing correction and refund was identified and resolved quickly with the office in Edinburgh. We were very impressed with everything

We had a great tour of the highlands and castle with our guide Stuart. He gave us good instructions and recommendations on every stop we made and told us where we could find the best toilet to find. He was informative and answer any questions we had. The tour van was also very nice also. It was the best part of our trip to Scotland. I would have done another tour with Rabbie if we had the time.

My family and I had a wonderful trip out to Loch Lomond, the Kelpies and Stirling Castle. Our guide, Ian, was interesting and entertaining as he told us stories and tidbits about Scotland along the journey. If you're travelling with kids, my 10 year old daughter had a great time.

Enjoyable and informative tour. Loved the small group format. Plenty of time to explore castles and villages at our own pace. Craig was a wonderful guide and made the time worthwhile.

I went on a 1 day tour from Inverness to Skye. The guide Charlie was true professional sharing interesting facts from Scottish history and doing this with great wit. He even taught us how to say "pòg mo thòin" in beautiful Scottish Gaelic, but I didn't feel the need to say it at any point during the trip, even when constantly waiting for all the passengers to come back after every stop before I could take a seat as I got the fold-up passenger seat in the front. Despite this, the views in Highlands were magnificent, I loved the all the green, the wind and the fresh air. I hope my internship as the doorman went well.

My wife and I were on vacation and booked some Rabbie’s Tours. This was our first one.

Our guide/driver was Martin and he was, on time, extremely professional and personable. Our group was only 9 so that made it a bit easier to chat with him during the day and the different stops.
The highlight was Lallybroch, the castle that is being refurbished. Outlander fans, this is a must to visit.
The stop at Falkland was a pleasant surprise and the locals very friendly. Helen’s Bakery was an added bonus for our lunch and delicious. This town also has a connection to Johnny Cash..yes that JohnnyCash.
We visited 2 other castles and finished with the town of Culross and different scenes from Outlander filmed there.
A full day with many memories and lots of history of Scotland also from Martin and we learned Gaelic.😊

I enjoyed the small tour and we had more time to stay at a spot. The driver, with hybrid work as the guide, was friendly and humorous along the trip. Although the coach had an accident of its rear tyre sunk into the stony paved carpark at the final spot of Vindolanda Roman Fort, the driver was calm and called the towing car to have helped it out. Appreciated the driver's apologies to that accident with treating us a drink later. Anyway the tour with that friendly staff had made a difference to an accident unexpectedly happened. It's a great tour.

It was really great and amazing. The tour guide was excellent in giving context to the area , about its history, culture and details it was a really fun trip. The location is absolutely gorgeous and the boat trip was amazing

This was my third time taking a Rabbie’s tour and I absolutely loved it! We had Bryan for this tour and he was wonderful! He was very knowledgeable, kind, and entertaining since a decent amount of your day is spent driving. I highly recommend taking a Rabbie’s tour if you can. They feel a lot more personal since the group is small and you’re able to see a lot in one day, sometimes multiple if you book a multi-day tour.

Stevie was a GREAT tour guide. I learned So much about Scottish history. He was very knowledgeable and made the stories interesting and mixed with humor. We had a major adjustment to our route due to a road closure but he was still able to provide us with an excellent, unforgettable trip. The scenery was absolutely beautiful. One of the best tours I’ve ever been on.

Driver was very friendly and told a good story. Tour and journey was excellent, will definitely book more tours x

Amazing places and our guide was very nice and well informed about everything!!! I would have loved to had more time to spend in Haworth and Grassington because they deserved more space in the tour I think!

We went on a three-day trip around the NC500, starting from Inverness.

What we liked most about the trip was the itinerary. It covered most of the major highlights along the NC500 route, making it a great introduction to the area.

However, we felt that there wasn’t enough time to properly enjoy many of the stops. Some notable attractions, such as Duncansby Stacks and Whaligoe Steps, could have been included in the itinerary. We also didn’t have enough time to take the guided excursion inside Smoo Cave, which was disappointing.

Additionally, the lunch breaks felt longer than necessary, while time at several key locations was quite limited. Reducing the lunch break slightly would have allowed more time to explore some of the most scenic and memorable spots on the route.

We had Martin for the Oban, Glencoe tour. He was knowledgeable of history and important facts of the area. He drove safely and was on time. Gave us proper instructions of meeting place and time.

Overall it was a good day tour.

Rachel was absolutely amazing! We had so much fun! Her little bits of history mixed with the love of Outlander made the tour perfect! Cannot recommender her more! The tour was exactly what we wanted it to be!

Our guide, Alec, was a seasoned professional. Engaging, funny and knowledgeable. Stories he had to tell can only come from someone who knows and loves his job.
The sites (and extras) made for a remarkable experience. Rabbie’s are professionals at this. Strongly recommended.

We had a wonderful day trip through the stunning Scottish Highlands and to Loch Ness. Our driver, Stevie, was incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining, sharing fascinating insights along with plenty of personal stories that kept us laughing throughout the day. The scenery was breathtaking, and the smaller bus made the experience feel much more personal while also being very comfortable. We would definitely recommend Rabbie's to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable tour of the Highlands.
