Racing Models Reviews 

As with the previous reviews, i pre ordered an item which disappeared off the site. Was assured all was ok after i opened a paypal claim and the owner called me about it and assured me all was fine, so case closed.
Well here we are further down the line, thought i'd check the website and all traces of the company are long gone.
Absolutely disgraceful behaviour.

Edit to add paypal have now refunded me.

Similar to the other users here, i am now £1500 out of pocket as i am no longer covered under paypal protection or section 75 of credit rights act as this company has vanished of face of the earth. Absolutely disgraceful. I have used this company plenty in the past. Very unethical i suppose part of the practice is that because it takes so long for preorders to process that they know buyers aren't protected and can get away with it. Expensive lesson learnt!

Oh Dear, I used this company for most of my F1 collection additions, currently have £200 on pre-orders, paid via PayPal, it seems to have run off with all our money, it must be so difficult to accept you are going down the drain and even more upsetting to the company to contact loyal customers of this dire development … but no, keep taking the money offered, one day you will realise what you have done… and I trust sleepless nights will follow.. or more likely, currently living the life of Riley, at our expense

As with the last two reviews, I am owed about £400 for pre-ordered and in stock models. I used to get emails 2-3 times a week, then suddenly stopped on 7/9/22.

Like the writer of the previous review it can be assumed that this company has gone bust! I have paid for a considerable number of pre orders and cannot get any news, updates or communications with this company. They owe me more than £1000!
I hope the owner, is proud of himself. Perhaps he will pay the outstanding monies to me and all of the other people that are owed money!
knowing that the company was almost bankrupt why did they keep taking money from loyal customers.

Website is not working. Social media pages disappeared.

And I’ve paid money for a pre-ordered item that never appeared.

Terrible experience. Pre-ordered a 1/43 mini-champs model from the seller. After waiting a terribly long period where the item was available in the public market, but not with this seller, i decided to cancel my pre-order as per terms of service on their website for a full refund.

The seller charged me 15% claiming they had specifically made a custom order for me? I don't see how this can be the case given i generically bought it from their website.

unscrupulous shop owner who violates his own terms of conditions. DO NOT BUY FROM.

Racing Models seem much more proactive these days but the website could be better

I have used Racing Models for many years and have nothing but good to say about them. Regardless of the claims of other websites, I have found RM to offer the best prices and deals. A further bonus is that RM models are sold in the correct racing livery, which adds so much to the "right feel" and nostalgia of the cars. The people are friendly, know their cars, and do what they say they will do, and they will always try to source a model that they do not have in stock, and provide accurate info on new announcements. Excellent supplier, thanks.

They are really helpful and they have a great range of different models to choose from . I highly recommend them .

I have been dealing with Racing Models for many years now and have never had any problems unlike some other model companies I have been unfortunate enough to have dealings with.
Not only do Racing Models carry an enormous amount of stock but the staff are extremely knowledgeable about thier products.
