AirNav/Radarbox claims to allow people to access data in 'about 15 minutes', but that is not the case. I was looking to pull a small amount of data (I estimate about 1k records) over about a year, but after subscribing at over $100/month — including 10k ‘credits’, one credit for each record — I found the SDK lacking and needing work and not being able to make inquiries over the period of interest. After raising the issue to support, I was told that their system could not support data queries over a long period and that I should go in 24 hours segments. None of this was disclosed in their docs. The support group suggested having a specific query quoted by sales. I asked for that and they agreed that the data set would be small (again, I estimate about 1k records — much smaller than the 1 month subscription allowance) but they would charge $2000 for the query. I asked for an explanation of their advertising vs the quote and got no reply. I canceled the subscription and, barring any update from them, do NOT recommend them at all.

Use RB for tracking family flights and also military stuff when there is something going on. appreciate the filters. between UK and SEA good data and flight arrival forecast.

I subscribed to the service. But it doesn't save the settings. When I log in, because there is an important plane to check, I always have the details in imperial units, instead of the already set metric. Because it doesn't show all the aircraft that other services show, I found myself in an uncomfortable situation once. Sometimes slow. I catch myself looking at other services for air traffic, even though I'm paying for this. My patience is over, since it doesn't save the settings I cancel my membership with the end of the month.

Airnavsystems.com, the people who run Radar Box had a data breach in November 2020 and details taken are now on the dark web. Neither Airnav or Radar Box informed its customers of this breach and appear not to have taken any action to prevent further breaches. If you have an account then close it.
