False Advertisement - Will Not Honor Return Process

I wish I had listened to my gut before ordering from this company.

Before ordering, I struggled to find independent reviews. Since the company is less than a year old, I assumed they simply hadn't had time to build a reputation. I genuinely wanted to give them a chance. I thought I might have found a hidden gem and was willing to be one of the first customers to leave an honest, independent review.

I purchased a 24-inch hair unit after reviewing the photos and videos on their website. Before ordering, I contacted them through Instagram and email with questions about the length, curl pattern, and texture. They described the hair as having soft, bouncy, large coily curls, so I placed my order.

Their website advertised delivery in 3–5 days. After ordering on June 27, I was told processing alone could take up to nine days. The unit finally arrived on July 6 after shipping from China.

Unfortunately, what I received looked nothing like what was advertised. The curls were tight jerry curls instead of the large, bouncy curls shown on the website, and the unit was nowhere near the advertised 24 inches. I understand curly hair shrinks, so I gently stretched the curls by hand only to verify the length. Instead of returning to their original pattern, the curls immediately broke apart and became frizzy. I stopped there. I never installed the wig, cut the lace, washed it, or applied products because I was still within the return window.

I immediately contacted the company with photos. Rather than immediately requesting a refund, I tried to work with them by asking if they could send additional longer hair so I could make the unit usable. That request was ignored.

Instead, they offered me $30 on a nearly $300 purchase and told me to style it. When I declined and requested a return under their advertised 30-day, no-hassle return policy, the runaround began.

Although their website states that quality issues qualify for a return and that they will cover return postage once confirmed, they instead questioned my observations, told me returning it would be expensive, involve customs fees, and take too long, then encouraged me to keep it, give it away, or accept $40 instead.

It became obvious they were doing everything possible to discourage me from exercising the return policy they advertise.

After placing my order, I broadened my search and found a sponsored TikTok video for another one of their products. In the comments, another customer said they had just purchased one of the company's units, saw how the hair behaved, immediately wanted a refund, had already contacted the company, and was getting the runaround. Unfortunately, I experienced the same thing.

It appears to me that this was a classic bait-and-switch. The product I received did not remotely resemble the photos or videos used to advertise it. What I was shown on the website is not what I received.

I've now filed a PayPal claim because, despite my repeated efforts to resolve this matter directly, the company has chosen not to honor its advertised return policy or provide a fair resolution.

If you're considering ordering from this company, my advice is simple: if you can't find genuine independent reviews, take that as a warning sign. I wanted to believe I'd found a great new vendor. Instead, I experienced what appears to be a classic bait-and-switch, poor product quality, and a company that made returning the product far more difficult than purchasing it.

If zero stars were an option, that's exactly what I would give them.
