This company run by two local authorities was abysmal both in attitude towards its customers but Equality as well. I have read a few reviews of the company and agree with most of what was said. I am really glad there not operating anymore. I think Robin Hood would have been appalled by there lack of customer service certainly not any standard I know about.

I switched supplier from British Gas a year ago. Now RAm Energy have folded. The first I heard about it was in a 'welcome' letter from British Gas, who are taking on Ram's customers. Ram Energy didn't have the common courtesy to even send an email to its customers to explain what was happening. What a disgusting display of cowardice.
My advice: don't bother switching suppliers. These tin pot companies haven't got the staying power of a soap bubble. Lesson learned.

I joined RAM Energy on the 3rd October 2018 and it has been a very pleasant and smooth journey. My welcome email was extremely clear and precise in detailing everything I needed to know. My DD was set up for about 3 weeks after my supply date was due to start. Some 21 days after my registration, I was asked for my opening meter readings, and my account transferred across on the 24th October. My DD was set up for the 18th November, which was perfect and no problems experienced. I sent an email to query my billing cycle and within a day the reply told me it was quarterly and I would receive an email about a week before my bill was due for meter readings. The email was received on the 18th January. I submitted my readings and I have today received my first bill, which is all accurate and correct and very clearly laid out. My 3 months of DD payments is just short of my total bill, but no adjustment to the DD. The website is easy to use and you can record your meter readings whenever you want, I do a monthly meter read but it is obviously for my record purposes only. It has been an absolute pleasure to have joined RAM Energy and the next best thing is that I am on a very good fixed price tariff, I sincerely hope that I am offered a competitive tariff at the end of my contract. A huge thank you to RAM Energy, you are a breath of fresh air and restored my faith in an energy company.
